Basic Appearance: Basil is olive skinned with dark brown hair, though he would tell you it is black. He has calculating blue eyes that tend to light up when he has discovered something about someone that he thinks they don't know he knows.
Personality: At first glance, Basilio appears uptight, stiff and cold. He doesn't like to show emotion to people he does not know. In actual fact he is the most emotional sibling of the trio, and probably one of the most emotional in the family. He tries very hard to hide behind a mask of indifference but it tends to falter when he is alarmed or unprepared for something. He is a very whiny and jealous person, mostly due to the fact that many of the responsibilities were placed onto his shoulders when his brothers left, despite being the baby of the three. He absolutely despises the freedom that he perceives his brothers to have obtained and often lashes out towards them in varying ways. When it comes to Alessio, sometimes he can be downright cruel and attack his drinking problem or his choice of lifestyle. If he is feeling particularly cruel, he will attack his own fathers hatred of his eldest son and often he is set straight by Ciro, who deplores Basilio's behaviour, because of this, Basilio tends to hate himself, as he does not like hating on his brothers. It is his most unhealthy emotional habit and he sometimes gives into his grief by drinking, though he is by no means an alcoholic. Most often though, he is very civil with all of his siblings and holds his family to be above everything. Basilio likes to flaunt a lot of his money and spends it on things that he likes such as alcohol or gems. Often he simply puts it away and only uses it when he wants to buy something particularly expensive so that his financial mother will not find out about it. This is how he always has an expensive drink on hand. Though he will readily admit to being an *******, he also knows that he has his reasons, as do all of his siblings. Basilio doesn't often talk to people that he doesn't like and when he does he is often quite blunt and unassuming. He tries incredibly hard to be different to his siblings who he is always compared too, but in doing so tends to fall into the same personality flaws and strengths that they do. He likes to consider himself as being of flexible charm, in that he can be both charming and intimidating with the flick of a switch and is often quite willing to adjust his level of charm in varying degrees. He doesn't like to be told that he is wrong and he especially does not like to have his sincerity questioned. He has a bad habit of pretending to not speak much english when he is in his observation mode and is the most observant of all of his brothers, though his is also the first to jump to conclusions about his observations. Over all, thought Basilio can be hard to like at times, he is very polite and extremely easy to talk to when you get to know him. He whines as much as he listens, but he is always willing to lend a hand when he sees that it is needed. He would be the first to tell someone when they are in the wrong, but the least likely to take the advice of someone else. He reads tea leaves, but thinks the practice is archaic and wasteful and so tends to drink cold tea just to avoid the need to practice and hone his skills.
