Asher was born in a Muggle hospital in Paris, France, at 5:38 in the evening on July 28th, 2012. His parents, Sienna and Hugo Behrani, were aged thirty-three and thirty-six years old, respectively. His starsign is Leo, one often associated with charisma and leadership. His mother has the blood status of half-blood, while his father is a mixed-blood. This makes their son a mixed-blood Wizard.
R E L A T I O N S H I P S T A T U S
Asher is currently single. He has had several girlfriends in the past, but all have either fizzled out or ended badly . He's known for his promiscuity, being quite a ladies man. Because of that, he gets bored easily and is always moving onto the next girl. Commitment and long-term relationships are not for him at this stage in his life, but in the future, he would like a girl isn't afraid to stand up to him and can have conversations and mutual respect. Asher is very shallow when it comes to appearance, so that's another big factor, with tall brunettes being his usual type.

Despite being born during a trip to France, England is where the family lived. The Behrani home is in Chelsea, an upper-class neighbourhood in London. The three-storey town house is more than enough to house the five family members, with a big back garden and city views. His bedroom has a large window seat and walk-in closet, decorated with movie posters, stacks of records and a photo wall. Asher attended a private Muggle primary school in London until the age of eleven. English was his best subject, and he managed to do fairly well across the board. He did even better socially than academically, however. At the age of eleven, it became an option to send Ash to a private Wizarding boarding school, or somewhere like Hogwarts or Beauxbatons. However, he instead began home-schooling with a tutor, as had his two older sisters. His parents chose this option as it allowed the children to all stay in the community they'd grown up in, keep their old friends and social circles, as well as be able to live with freedom to explore the city instead of couped up in a school year-round. Asher doesn't have a job right now, perfectly comfortable to rely on his parents' money. He does do a lot of acting and auditioning, though, as a career in film is what he hopes to pursue in the future.
W A N D
Kingwood, 15 ½", thestral tail hair. Kingwood is an exotic type of rosewood, with a rich and regal colour. It is an excellent healing wood, treasured for its properties of strength, protectiveness and willpower. This wand is not for the untrustworthy or a magical novice. While he does think highly of himself and can seem quite selfish, Asher always remembers to look out for those close to him in the pursuit of his goals, all traits which suit the different elements of stately kingwood. He has witnessed death, being at his grandfather's bedside, so the thestral hair connects to him in that way.
M I R R O R O F E R I S E D
If he were to look into the Mirror of Erised, Asher would see himself having just won an Oscar for best actor, surrounded by lots of successful friends and adoring fans. Children would not be in the picture at this stage, but he would have a beautiful wife and a happy family.
B O G G A R T
Asher's boggart would be a zombie for several reasons. Firstly, he hates dirty things and imperfections, so a gross rotting corpse would be off-putting to say the least. Secondly, the idea of death and the possibilty of hell or eternal darkness are very scary concepts for him. He often has nightmares of being chased, so a zombie fits in that regard as well. This symbolises the feelings of emotional detachment and helplessness, both being issues he struggles with.

His patronus animal is a Bengal tiger. Tigers are considered powerful and elegant animals, authoritarian and confident by nature. Bengal tigers are mostly found in India and Bangladesh, which fits Asher's ethnicity as he is a quarter Indian and a quarter Pakistani, its neighbouring country. His patronus memory is the first time he got a call telling him he had scored a role. After getting off the phone with the casting director, he proceeded to run around the house screaming at the top of his twelve-year-old lungs. It was the first time he had felt the pay-off from auditioning, while well and truly giving him the acting bug for life. It was an exciting adrenaline rush, one which he continues to seek.

Asher's eyes are round and a honey-brown hue, though they can look anywhere from black to amber depending on the light. He has straight, dark eyebrows and long eyelashes. His hair is black, and longer on the top than it is on the sides. He is obsessed with his hair, always using products to keep it perfectly tousled and at the right height. He has an average, straight nose, with a bright smile. His skin is a rich olive tone due to his mixed heritage. Asher has good, confident posture, and his expression is usually relaxed. He has warm, friendly eyes, but a smug smirk which can make for a confusing mix. He has a piercing in each ear, and three tattoos. One is a yin-yang symbol on his left forearm, the other being a line in Arabic from his favourite song on the right side of his chest, though he's very private about it and never translates it for anyone. Apart from a few freckles and a small scar on his left cheek sustained in a schoolyard fight, Asher has no prominent marks or features. His height and weight are average for his age, though his build is fairly athletic due to the competitive, active sports he participates in. He has a general London accent, though hints of a Yorkshire accent can creep in, which he has picked up from his father. His voice is lazy-sounding and a little bit deep, but not remarkably so. Asher's handwriting is neat, with a big signature that emphasises his initials. Asher considers himself quite good-looking, with a style that would probably be considered preppy/hip-hop. His favourite things are letterman jackets, which he has seventeen of. He usually wears a button-up shirt, polo or graphic tee, with chinos or dark jeans. He owns a lot of sneakers, mostly Nikes and other high tops. He sometimes wears hoodies, mostly going for stylish comfort.
I N T E R E S T S A N D H O B B I E S
At primary school he was a member of the debate team, chess club and drama club. Though he's now home-schooled, he still sees a lot of his old teammates, and enters speech and debating competitions as well as being a part of his local drama group. He has participated in the Model United Nations representing Sweden and Australia, as well as a youth politics program. Asher plays quite a bit of sport, preferring singular sports like squash and tennis. He plays football and supports Chelsea, also going golfing with his father on occasions. He has done a bit of singing and dancing, but isn't the best at it.

Asher's father, Hugo, is a half-English, half-Pakistani, mixed-blood Wizard. He moved with his parents and younger brother to his mother's native Yorkshire at the age of four, having lived in his father's home of Pakistan before that. He was sorted into the house of Ravenclaw at Hogwarts Scotland, and excelled in his studies, taking on multiple leadership roles. In later life, he became a Diplomat for the English Embassy in the Muggle world. Though he does have an office based in London, where his family are located, Hugo usually works overseas for weeks or even months at a time. Because of his background, he is often sent to countries in South East Asia and the Middle East. It was in Bangladesh where he met his future wife, when she was interviewing him about a policy he was negotiating. With a mysterious job and penchant for suits, Asher always thought as a child that his dad was a James Bond-esque spy. Meeting the man, you'd likely think the same, as he has a sophisticated, powerful charm that all of the Behrani's seem to possess in one way or another. Though he's frequently absent and has missed a lot of milestones, Hugo is a fair and laid-back father.
Sienna Behrani, nee Wright, is a half-blood Witch. She was born and raised in London, to an Indian Muggle mother and an English pure-blood father. She attended Beauxbatons, but would likely have been a Gryffindor had she gone to Hogwarts. After her schooling, Sienna worked her way up as a Muggle journalist. She was especially successful as a correspondent based in war-torn countries. As motherhood made travelling difficult and dangerous, she transitioned from being a reporter to a leading anchor on the six o'clock news. Now a fully-fledged television personality, she has moved on to hosting a morning news show, as well as presenting special events such as royal weddings and political debates. Like her husband, Sienna is an intellectual and bold person; confident and cool in the way she deals with people. She has an alluring personality, and is respected for being a strong journalist, as well as being esteemed among social scenes and high society. Due to demanding professional lives, both Sienna and Hugo are more distantly encouraging and supportive than nurturing in a hands-on motherly/fatherly way. Asher considers his mum a great friend, and admires his dad very much.
The Behrani daughters have inherited a lot of independence and feminist values from their mother, though their passions don't follow in the footsteps of either parent. Ruby is three years older than Asher, and she has a strong love for fashion. She has interned as several fashion labels, but now works as a stylist as she works to develop her own designs. She's very hardworking and ambitious, as well as a self-assured life of the party. A no-nonsense young woman, she has a lot in common with her brother, though their egos can clash on occasion. Natalie is one year older than Asher, and much like a twin in terms of closeness. She is more of a tomboy than Ruby, and has a big interest in art as well as law and politics. Like the rest of her family, Natalie is strong-willed and intelligent, although rather distant in her manner. She's more laid-back than her siblings, but definitely shares their emotional stubbornness. Though Ruby and Natalie were both home-schooled along with Asher, they probably would've been placed in the Hogwarts houses of Slytherin and Ravenclaw respectively.
