Basic Appearance:
- Average height (perhaps erring on the taller side of average) with mostly straight light brown/dark blonde hair down to her shoulderblades, usually tied up with a variety of hairties and/or ribbons. Hazel eyes, often dancing about in excitement or alternatively lost in thought of some sort. Lightly freckled from lots of time spent in the sun (mostly reading). Large-ish nose and full lips. Not especially thin but not overweight. Usually clad in pretty dresses (to match the hairties and ribbons) and most often found barefoot on the grounds with a book in hand, or sometimes a wooden sword/fake wand.
Personality:
- Incredibly enthusiastic. Has an adoration for muggle fantasy - being brought up in a wizarding family, most wizarding world knowledge has been taught as fact, so worlds of books such as The Lord of the Rings and the Narnia series are completely enthralling. She's quite a daydreamer and imagines fantasy worlds of her own in her head, even writing some of her ideas down (though she's not as good at putting them on paper as she'd like, being limited by her writing ability). She can seem pretty oblivious and is easily mislead due to her cloud-cuckoolandish nature. She is a friendly sort, though her fascination with fantasy has not made her many friends - her sister and many kids her age have "grown out" of playing princesses and dragons and the like, but Ashe still loves the worlds of fantasy. She's pushed around a bit by other kids for that reason and ends up being a bit lonely, but she doesn't mind too much when she has books for company. Her parents do worry about her and fear she'll get bullied at Hogwarts, but Ashe always wears a smile and insists she's happy enough. Most of the Fortescue, Bleakley and Fortescue-Bleakley family is established in England, but Ashe's branch is set up in Australia. The Bleakley family is mostly muggle lords - the wizarding side comes from a marriage to the Fortescues. As such, they are quite far removed from pure-blood but are proud of their wealth and status regardless. Ashe, meanwhile, ignores most family politics and is simply happy to live comfortably and without want with her immediate family.
Pets:
- The family has a barn owl, Archibald (Archie, for short), and a German Shepherd named Max. The dog has no special magical skills, but he's a great companion for the girls - Ashe especially, who spends more time out-of-doors than Edea. Ashe hopes to get an owl or possibly another creature of her own before attending Hogwarts.

- Rural Victoria, Australia. Lives near the Victoria/South Australia border in a small community on a stretch of farmland that appears useless to muggle eyes. - Half-blood. Her surname represents as much - the Fortescues being a wizarding line, the Bleakleys being muggles.
Interests or Hobbies:
- Ashe likes to read, especially muggle fantasy novels. It may seem strange for a witch to like those, but Ashe gets entirely enthralled. She also is imaginative and likes to act out and write fantasies of her own - her personal favourite is the lovely Princess Ashe and her trusty dragon companion saving the world from the evil sorceress, Edea. Edea, unsurprisingly, does not share Ashe's enthusiasm (hence her casting as the wicked witch). She often plays with dolls, as they are more inclined to join in Ashe's reveries than people such as her sister are. She likes to make things, too - some of the house elves, after Ashe begged them, taught her some basic sewing skills so she could make dresses and other outfits for her dolls (as well as using paper and other things).

- Surprisingly quick at wordplay. Quite confident in her speaking ability and rarely shows nerves speaking in front of anyone, even if they shoot down her ideas.

Hi, diary! Today is our 11th birthday, and Edea and I both have beeninfor told that we're going to go to Hogwarts next year. Yay! Edea doesn't seem as exited excited as me I am. But she's always quiet and boring. She's playing the violin in her room. I asked if she wanted to come outside and play but she said no. Her loss. We're having cake later on and I have Lady Puffington to play with.
I wish Edea would play toothowgh though. We're going to Hogwarts together and I bet we'll be in the same house. I'm kind of scared but mostly excited.
I hope there are some muggle kids I can talk to about books.
