FULL NAME
Ares Flynn Jeffreys
MEANING
Ares - Perhaps from either Greek αρη (are) "bane, ruin" or αρσην (arsen) "male". Ares was the blood-thirsty god of war in Greek mythology, a son of Zeus and Hera.
Flynn - Descendant Of The Red-haired Man. The origin of the name Flynn: Irish. People who like the name Flynn also like: Liam, Finn, Oliver, Noah, Declan, Ethan, Henry.
Jeffreys- The name Jeffrey is an American baby name. In American the meaning of the name Jeffrey is: God's peace.
WHY
Ares' first name is unlike both his brothers name being the only one of greek origin, his parents liked picking names that are a little normal but have a nice meaning and he ended up with Ares, a lot of people incorrectly spell his name as Aries and think that his name is the misspelling but his name has nothing to do with the star sign. Ares was his mother's name for one of the boys and they decided given the fact the name was the name of the god of war in greek mythology that it should go to the first son. Ares enjoys his name as much as anyone at that age would enjoy a slightly more annoying name. The middle name Flynn, was given to him because his parents believed his name to be too short, they had his name written out and decided to add something else to it. Although Ares doesn't ever go by the name Finn it is written on all official documents and he doesn't necessarily hate the name, he just thinks it's a little unnecessary for it to be there.
The surname Jeffreys is like most names, just passed down through the years. His father's father had a good number of brothers who also carry the name. Jeffreys itself is a fairly common name, which Ares is always happy about. He likes having a name which is common in many ways. It makes things easier for him. He likes his surname perhaps a little more than his first name. Just because it's easier.
NICKNAMES
Ares has a very short name so he doesn't have any nicknames nor does he really desire any, or a requirement for it. Ares has always been by the book with this sort of thing, he believes that his name given to him by his parents is the name people should call him, he'll never ask to be called something else or be the one to instigate him being called anything else, but really due to how short his name is, Ares doesn't have to worry too much about being given different nicknames that he would otherwise really hate.
AGE
Ares is 18 years old, despite being a twin Ares has never once been annoyed over having to share his birthday, since they both get along well and having a joint birthday party was easier and tended to far more people attending than if it was just one of them, since while close they had slightly different friends growing up, Ares was much more playful, more likely to run around playing games than his brother. Ares enjoys spending his birthday with his twin.

4th March 2029, born a few days after their due date the twins took twice as long as Isaiah did to be born, and Ares was born first by about ten minutes, they were both born by 11:30 in the morning and they remained in the hospital until the evening when they were realised, Ares was the small of the two babies by a very narrow margin.

FATHER
His father, Joshua Jeffreys, was born on the 13th July 1996. He is muggle and spent a lot of his youth in the military, only leaving when he finally got married. Now, he works as a mechanic for airplanes. Joshua was a very driven man, he had been raised in a strict no-nonesense kind of family. He had always been told to follow certain rules and to be sure that he wasn't doing anything crazy. But this always left Joshua feeling like his family just didn't want him. He cared for his sister and did all that was right. His father like him had spent some time in the military and Joshua had always looked up to his own father which had been why he'd gone. He was happy enough in the military but is also far happier now that he is no longer a part of it. He has always thought that violence makes any matter worse and has been keen to in-still within all of his sons that while joining the army can be noble the horrors of a real war and the kind of decisions a person may make are not the type that any person should really have to. When his wife died, Joshua's whole life collapsed around him. He just didn't know what to do with himself and he didn't really know how to look after three children, two of them incredibly young. He could barely look after himself, he just felt so lost. He had left behind a life he'd enjoy for her and the family and just didn't know what to do with himself. It wasn't until he met Orlando that things began to improve. He realised a few times after meeting him that Ares' old brother Isaiah had really picked up the slack and had grown far more than he'd thought. That while he'd become lost and distant his eldest was the reason things were still running. Joshua has always felt bad for what happened, and wishes it could be changed, but has since worked incredibly hard for all of his sons, and has always been proud of their bond.
MOTHER
His mother Kate "Perrie" Jeffreys, was born 23rd December 2000 and died on the 2nd January 2031, in a car crash. She was mixed blood but had a love for all things muggle. She was a professional quidditch player until her death. She like her siblings attended Hogwarts and was also a Ravenclaw. Kate was a very easy going but curious person. She loved stories and she loved doing things she was afraid of. She like finding things out and loved seeing how they worked. She was the kind of person who was fascinated by all things muggle and taking them apart to see how they worked. She had always been afraid of driving, seeing it as an incredibly dangerous mode of transport, but had decided to learn to drive. Kate was an exceeding kind and warm hearted person. She was open minded about all types of things and believed that life was a story and it wasn't a good story if she didn't let everyone be a part of it. Her curiosity mixed with her kindness meant that she was always likely to ask first before doing anything. Though the curious part of her drove her even more than her kindness. Upon finding out that she was pregnant Kate had just cried for about four days, each time. Ares' doesn't remember his mother at all, all he knows about her is based upon what his eldest brother has told him.
STEP-FATHER
His step-father, though his father and him are not married, is Orlando Edison who was born and raised in South Africa until he moved to Australia for work. He also a muggle and currently works as a pilot for an Australian airline. His step-father is an openly gay man, who had always been gay. He never tried to hide it, or felt like it held him back in any way. He was also very intelligent, he worked hard for everything, studying in every minute of the day. Eventually he attended university in London, where he studied engineering before becoming a pilot. While he enjoyed engineering there was a great joy he found in flying. He moved to Australia for his work, and after his car broke down in front of Ares' house, Ares' father ended up helping him, and showing him how to fix it. While Ares' dad had never identified as gay he felt for the man easily, and the love he found from Orlando helped greatly.
SIBLING(S)
One older brother, Isaiah Jeffreys, born 21st March 2025, currently at school at HNZ, is a ravenclaw, he is very close to his elder brother and always misses him when he goes to school.
He has a non-identical twin, Xavier Jeffreys, they share a birthday but Ares is older by about ten minutes, the twins are close but are still very separate people. They share a lot of their belongings but have never been the stuck at the hip type twins, only in some situations will they seek each other's comfort.

Ares has a large family, he has three sets of grandparents.
On his father's side:
The first are his father's parents, Travis Jeffreys and Madeline "Stone" Jeffreys, both of whom died, Travis in 2017 and Madeline in 2029. They were very laid back parents who gave little control to their control, which prompted Joshua to leave school at 16 to join the army, and train as part of the airforce. From this side he also has a younger sister, who is unmarried, but has two children from two different men. Ares' aunt on his father's side, is Jenny Jeffreys who currently works at a very popular restaurant in Brisbane, and is currently posed to become manage. She has two children, Sam and Claire Jeffreys, Sam born on 14th February 2029, and Claire born on 6th May 2032. All in this family are muggle
On his step-father's side:
His step father is an only child, and his parents recently moved to Australia to help out their son and the children who they see as grandkids. Orlando Edison Sr, and Nicole "Jones" Edison, also both muggle. Both worked as reporters in South Africa until they retired. just before moving to Australia.
On his mother's side:
His mother's side of the family is quite a bit larger than the other side.
His grandparents, Malcolm Perrie and Fiona "Loverley" Perrie. Malcom is a pureblood wizard who attended Durmstrang, born on August 20th 1974, and Fiona is a mixed blood who attended Durmstrang, born on June 10th 1975. They both worked as Aurors in the Bulgarian ministry of magic before moving to Australia when their eldest son was born. They continued to work as Aurors until recently, when both have retired from active field work, and deal much more with the paperwork aspect of things. They had three sons and two daughters.
The eldest son, Robert Perrie was born on April 3rd 1990, and is currently married to Alexia "Mills" Perrie. Robert is mixed blood where Alexia is half blood. Alexia owns her own magical sweet shop in Brisbane Australia, where she mixes her cooking skills with her magic. Robert currently works in the Australian ministry as part of the Obliviator's squad. Both attended Hogwarts Scotland and were both Ravenclaws. They have 6 children, with two sets of twins. The first set of twins are also the eldest. Damon is the elder of the first twins by 5 minutes, and Aramis is the younger. They were both born on June 8th 2022. They currently both attend Hogwarts Scotland, Damon a Gryffindor and Aramis a Ravenclaw. The next is Jessica Perrie, born February 18th 2025, she has just started at Hogwarts Scotland and was sorted into Hufflepuff. After her is Theodore Perrie, born September 11th 2027, and after him the second set of twins, Hunter Perrie who is older and Nicholas Perrie, Hunter was born first by twenty minutes on July 17th 2030. They believed that boy would be male, but Hunter turned out to be a girl.
The second eldest son is Malcolm Perrie, who was first married at the age of twenty but the pair split after two years. Malcolm has remarried a Czech woman he met during his magical studies in Czech after school, Vaclava "Apolena" Perrie. She is a pureblood witch. Vaclava is a nursery teacher to magical children, and Malcolm works in the Australian ministry as in the Wizarding Examinations Authority Offices. Malcolm was norn October 1992 and went to Hogwarts Scotland, Hufflepuff. Vaclava was born August 7th 1992 and went to Durmstrang. Together they have five children, three of which are adopted. Mostly as the couple believed they would be unable to have children. The eldest of the children, Nina Perrie was adopted by the pair at age four. She born to mixed blood parents who both died after an attack on their home, she was born on November 28th 2020, she currently attends Hogwarts Scotland, Slytherin. The second eldest was also adopted, Scott Perrie, at the age of 6, he's a half blood whose father, the muggle side died when he was very young, and his mother got very sick, and gave him up when she could no longer care for him. The family do not know if she is still alive. He currently attends Hogwarts Scotland as a Hufflepuff. The middle child, is one born to Malcolm and Vaclava, Katerina Perrie who was born on August 26th 2023. She is also currently at Hogwarts Scotland and a hufflepuff. After this is the last of the adopted children, Diminik Perrie whose parents gave him up at two for unknown reasons, but whose parents were both half blood. He was adopted by Malcolm and Vaclava at age 2, who were old friends of the boy's parents. He was born on January 19th 2026. The last child, is another who was born to the parents, Izabela Perrie, born April 7th 2027.
The youngest of the boys, is Micah Perrie, who divorced his wife recently, and lives alone with his children in Auckland New Zealand, currently working as a physiotherapist to both magical and muggle people. The only one of the family to not live in Australia. He was born on October 22nd 1996, and attended Hogwarts Scotland, Gryffindor. His wife was a muggleborn witch. They have two children, the eldest Gracelyn Perrie born May 27th 2029 and the youngest Hamilton Perrie born 22nd August 2031.
The youngest of all the children, is also the youngest girl, Madison "Perrie" Quinn. Who is currently a stay at home mother to her two daughters. Her husband, Jeremiah Quinn, is a muggleborn wizard. Madison was born September 24th 2002 and went to Hogwarts Scotland, Slytherin. Her husband also attended Hogwarts Scotland, Ravenclaw. He currently works as a healer in Australia. The eldest of their daughters is Vianne Quinn, born February 25th 2028, and the younger one Olivia Quinn born on January 31st 2032. They are half blood.

His family does not have any pets. They are looking to get an owl so that the boys can much more easily communicate with his parents while he is at school. Ares has always wanted a dog but he has never gotten a dog of any kind. When he goes to school he really wants to get some form of pet.

Due to being raised in a muggle community since his mother was the one with the magic, he has very little interaction with the whole blood status dilemma. He finds it very dull and not what he'd like to have to associate with learning magic but knows he will have. As a half blood, Ares is just glad for the blood which he has, he can't wait to get to Hogwarts and then be able to learn magic like his brother.

THE PLACE TO LIVE
Ares has only ever known one home before, and though there are plenty of places he's been that he loves he's very much a fan of the no place like home idea. He loves his home and he would rather live there than anywhere else in this world. He think's that his family and everything else being there are what make it so amazing.
PREVIOUS HOMES
FIRST HOME: His first home is also his only home. It is a simple two story detached house in the suburbs of Brisbane. It has three bedroom's, one that is his, his brothers share one, and the last is the master bedroom. They have two bathrooms. The main living area and the kitchen is open plan. They have a separate dinning room, or playroom depending on the occasion. And a large garden at the front and at the back.

It was when he came to school that Ares began to think that perhaps he wasn't straight, he had very little interest in the girl around him and much preferred to look at the other boys in his year. It was towards the end of his second year that he figured out that he was gay. From then on he's been happy about this, able to talk about and come out to others

HAIR COLOUR
Out of all his siblings Ares is the one that takes after their mother the most, he has very light blonde hair, which fluctuates in length, sometimes he just likes keeping it long and then other times he'd rather is was exceedingly short. He likes the colour of his hair mostly due to the fact he has seen and be told that it's like his mother and Ares definitely enjoys this connection to her which he is able to have. He also really enjoys his own hair colour, he thinks it's a good colour, a light blonde which sets him apart from most in his family.
HAIR HAS BEEN DYED
Ares would not be unwilling to dye his hair, although he doesn't know why or what colour he would dye it, Ares is much like his elder brother in that he really enjoys stories, he enjoys acting out stories and envisioning himself in certain positions, acting in certain ways. He'd probably dye his hair all sorts of colours if he really wanted to, but Ares has his head in the clouds far too much to remember to ever do it or make any strict decision about it.
EYE COLOUR
Ares has eyes just like his father, he has greyish/blue eyes, his eye colour used to be a much clearer blue colour but as he grew older they become more greyish in colour until they settled on the eye colour which Ares has currently. While both his brothers have far greener eyes and take after their mother more than he does in this respect he has never really been bothered with it, Ares has never thought it of it as a really big deal since overall Ares looks far more like their mother than any of the other children do, so he knows that it doesn't matter that he doesn't have the same kind of eye colour, and added to that is that the fact that Ares actually really likes his own eye colour.
BIRTHMARKS/SCARS
Ares has two very clear freckles on the side of his face on the left side of his face. Against his slightly paler skin they stand out very very clearly and Ares spends a lot of time staring at them in the mirror just because he thinks they stand out something bad, he does like them, he just thinks it's funny how much they stand out against the rest of his pale face. Ares has far lightly skin than his brothers tanning less well than they do. Aside from that most of his other marks or blemishes are too small to notice or do not stand out very much at all.

Ares has always been small, he's smaller than his twin by a couple of centimetres and he has a slightly more rounder build than his brother, but this will likely even out as Ares grows older and he'll even out, despite spending a lot of his time with his head in the clouds the boy loves running around and being active and he loves cycling and so he'll eventually even out and grow to be fairly tall and have a far more sports build than what he has right now.

Just like his brothers and his mother they all share the same blood type, he knows of his blood type and he knows what it means but he doesn't believe it to be that interesting or relevant to his life, his older brother has always pressed on him the importance of knowing and being able to say his blood type but he's never understood it. He'll still say it and be able to know what to do in the event of him needing it.

Much like his brother, since Isaiah was always the one who taught him or helped him to write in the early years of his life, he mimicked his brother and ended up being right handed. Ares has pretty awful handwriting, he doesn't really take his time when he's writing, he'll get distracted by something in his head and just start writing more without paying attention to it. Which is what leads his writing to be pretty awful and for the work to be riddled with mistakes. He isn't the type to attempt with his other hand writing, and he doesn't even notice how bad his own handwriting is, he generally gets it pointed out to him by other people.

VOICE
Much like his brothers and his parents, Ares has a strong Australian accent which is an obvious thing to happen considering his upbringing and the fact that he went to muggle school. His accent is fairly thick although softened slightly from his brothers because of the influence of his step-father in the family who had a slightly softer accent, a slightly different accent which has affect Ares' accent as he's picked up bits and pieces of his step-father's accent, however, overwhelmingly his accent is a strong Australian accent. Which he is very proud of too.
I CAN SPEAK
Ares can only speak english, he's learned bits and pieces of languages from his language classes in school, but not enough to distinguish them from other languages or be able to speak any of it very well, not that Ares ever cared, he's always making up words and sounds which he says are part of the languages which his mind comes up with in it's little fantasies, he thinks it pretty normal and not too much of a deal if all he can speak is English and nothing else. He knows that were he is in the world means that the one language he speaks with be pretty useful to him.
I AM ALLERGIC TO
Ares has a small allergy to mint, it's not a very strong allergy and usually just results in a small rash on his arms but it used to be a little worse and it is pretty uncomfortable for Ares so he tends to avoid mint. He is not allergic to mint flavoured toothpaste however, he doesn't suffer any allergy towards that, which he'd argue is probably a very good think, having an allergy to such a thing would be inconvenient. Ares does avoid all other mint related things, never wanting to push his allergy and making it either worse or having to deal with it if it happened.
PERSONAL STYLE
Ares would have arguably quite a simple style, he'll wear whatever he finds, he doesn't have much of an eye for colour and matching clothes though he attempts to keep himself quite well dressed, it just never works. He enjoys wearing lots of different colours and definitely prefers comfortable clothes or even remotely stylish clothes. Ares will be often found in shorts and t-shirts, he isn't too affected by the cold and given that he lives in a relatively warm country it isn't a huge deal for him either. His clothes are largely all bought for him, and he doesn't have much in put into them, nor does he actually want to have such in put, he's pretty happy to not have to worry about what his clothes are like or having to select them. He understands the important of clothes in his stories and day dreams but he would not want to have to go out and pick his own.

CHARACTER LIKES
Ares is much like his older brother and mother in his love of stories, though he's not a huge reader he loves fantasy worlds and living out different dreams in his head which revolve around different fantasies and different situations. He likes being able to just sit and let him mind go through it, he likes occasionally being able to act out his stories, he likes running around pretending to be a knight and he likes running around and being just energetic. He likes being able to come home from school early and definitely likes not having to do homework, he likes thinking of solutions to issues and he likes helping people with their problems even if he spends a large amount of time in his day dreams. Ares likes sports classes and not because he particularly enjoy sports he just enjoys being energetic and trying to help out his team even if he's the last person they might pick for it.
CHARACTER DISLIKES
Ares dislikes primarily homophobic people, due to the fact that his father is gay and in a relationship with another man, Ares feels very strongly about people who would insult him or his dads and would definitely lose it very quickly with them. Ares has absolutely no patience for it, and he has no idea why people can be like that towards his family, after all, he knows from what Isaiah says on the matter that his father hasn't ever been so happy and he only wants happiness for his father. Ares has no patience for those people and he has absolutely no time to deal with them, but he finds the comments to be very cruel. Ares dislikes when he gets interrupted mid-day dream, and dislikes having to focus on his classes when his mind is so firmly elsewhere, he doesn't like having to go home when he's not done playing or having fun and he hates homework. Ares dislikes having to get up too early in the morning. Ares doesn't like when he's in situations where he has to be brave, he doesn't see himself as particularly brave.
GOALS
From his life, Ares has a few goals, he wants to be a good wizard, he wants to be the best wizard, and plans to work very hard at it, even though he's too much of a class person and finds enjoyment elsewhere but he'd work hard in it to be a good wizard. Other than that, Ares wants to write his stories down, he's never seen himself as a good story teller other than in his head and he knows that he might be awful when it comes to writing them down. Ares would work hard to be able to write something. Other than Ares' main goal in life is just to be happy.
BOGGART
Because of his close relationship to all the members he see any of them dead, he doesn't want to lose any part of his family and losing anyone of them would be the most horrible thing and Ares would definitely fear such a thing happening to him. He doesn't want to lose any one else in his family and this would be awful for him, since he really loves his family and losing any one of them would be hugely difficult for him, since they do in fact mean so much to him.

Ares got a top prize for his story in his final year of primary school for a story he wrote and he just remembers how proud he was of himself and how happy he was with the story. He was upset that Isaiah couldn't be there but his dad's were there and he was very happy to be able to just pick up his prize with them smiling up at him, looking so proud. He had always wanted to win a prize for his stories and he felt so grateful that he had.
DEMENTOR
The day his brother left for Hogwarts, Ares had always been close to his older brother and he was very upset when he left to go to school, he knew he would see him again, but he knew he would just miss him so much and there was a tiny part of him which believed that his brother was never ever going to return to them, that they were never going to see him again. Ares felt so alone and terrible in that moment in those moments until eventually Isaiah wrote to them the following day, which had filled Ares with joy. But thinking that he wouldn't see Isaiah ever again and watching him leave had been exceedingly hard for Ares.
VERITISERUM
Likely Ares would admit that he hasn't ever really missed his mother, he was too young to remember when she died and despite the pictures and the stories that Isaiah tells them, he never knew her, and he's always had his brother, and his father and his step-dad from almost as long as he can remember and he's never wanted anyone else, he's never thought he needed anyone else, so while he does love his mother, he didn't know her enough to really ever miss her. Ares feels bad for that fact, but he knows it's the truth you couldn't force him to miss someone he never knew.
MIRROR OF ERISED
Because of how active Ares' mind is he would probably see a different thing every time he went mostly revolving around whatever story was currently swimming around in his head, so he might see himself as a knight but the next moment see himself as professional quidditch player, or a fairy, or just about anything that pops into his mind and where his head and heart would rather be. Which is why rather than seeing life goals within the mirror he would see whatever story was currently on his mind.
AMORENTIA
Ares would really love the smell of pizza, he really loves pizza and would love the pizza smell, he would also smell the smell of the beach and the ocean, he loves the smell of his house and the homely smell of his room. He loves the smell of going outside on a warm day and he loves the smell of freshly cut crass, he enjoys the smell of humidity in the air and of fresh pie. He loves most food related smells, while Ares does eat healthily he loves the smell of food, of fresh bread, of fresh pasta, of garlic bread, of tea, of coffee, of just about anything kitchen related he loves it.
I LOOK UP TO
Any story teller, Ares has a huge amount of respect for any story teller, he just thinks that they are amazing, he thinks of them as people he'd like to be like, he loves the way people used to tell stories and he loves people who write books because he thinks it's so cool tht they do that. He loves stories and he thinks it always so amazing that there are people who make a living out of it, and part of Ares would really loved to do that with his life, he thinks it would be one of the most fulfilling things he could do with his life. Although he doesn't often write down his stories, he does spend a lot of time thinking about them and thinks it's well within the realm of possibility for him to be able to do that.
RELIGIOUS BELIEFS

No one in his house has ever been overly religious, and he never really followed any of the classes which he'd done in school about religion and what not to think of it as something which affects his life, other than that he's never been involved in many religious things, never once has he stepped foot in a church, but this doesn't mean he hasn't imagined himself in situations where he is religious, a lot of the time within his stories he imagines that there are religions and much like how expects people to respect him and his reluctance to religion as he would respect them and their right to religion he doesn't think it's right for any person to think of themselves as better because of their beliefs or non-beliefs.

BASIC PERSONALITY
The best way to describe Ares would be to say that his head is firmly in the clouds, he day dreams pretty much at all times during the day, he lives out little fantasies in his head and is likely to become distracted from the world in all of his day dreams. He is the kind of person who would stop mid-sentence if his mind thought of something to think about, and he spends a lot of time just thinking in his head, he's relatively self-assured but spending so much time in his head means he's not always got a lot of friends and he gets into trouble for being distracted but he does sometimes have strong moments of doubts about who he is as a person and suffers from moments of low self-esteem. He's not a very brave person but will always spend time with people if they need it, he's quite emotionally intelligent where he'll pick up how people are feeling more easily and he'll always give them the time of day and try to help them. Ares is overall not particularly studious, he gets easier bored in classes and doesn't see much enjoyment from such things. He's very much about fun and enjoyment in his own stories and playing around, running around, he's very energetic. Ares loves having fun and he loves telling stories.
