Most of Apolline’s life has been relatively easy. There isn’t much that has been bad, things have been easy for her. She doesn’t want for nothing in her life. They were just all stressed, her mother working all hours and Henri more upset about the lack of his mother.

Apolline is a confident individual, who strives for perfection. She works hard, and tries to do well. She will often overwork to try and achieve a perfection that she is looking for. But Apolline is also tring to do too much, so because of that, homework will actually take her three times as long, and she’ll always be disappointed with what she submitted. She’s the type of person who’ll trip down the stairs because she was both trying to move fast, looking at her feet to try and not trip while also not looking where she was going. She is confident, able to speak her mind about things, is a good listener, but is sometimes just stuck in her ways with things. She knows there are multiple ways to get things, but she’s more likely to be on the ‘expected’ route than anything else. Apolline is a loyal person, she will defend her family and her mother to whatever end she needs to, it can be something that will land her in trouble. She wants to be well behaved, but isn’t always, sometimes blurting things out when she shouldn’t. Apolline is nice, she has a strong sense of right and wrong, and does believe in kindness. She is kind, and she is creative, but she is often solely focused on being presentable and being a good daughter/student that she doesn’t always give in to her creativity.

Apolline wondered if it might’ve been better to fight for going to beauxbatons where at least no one would know who she was and there could be no legacy to her either. But it didn’t matter now, she was physically at Hogwarts and standing in front of the sorting hat. The song it was singing was quite something, she had known to expect it, but really it was quite interesting to finally see it after hearing so much about it. Apolline glanced about her class, and noticed a couple of kids from the day care centre, though unfortunately not many she was actually friendly with. Apolline had always been more worried about being a good student, and not getting into any fights with people than she had been about making friends.
The names began being called and immediately Apolline began smoothing down her uniform. She would pretty early on. Apolline had no preference, her parents had been Gryffindor and Hufflepuff respectively, and for her the house itself didn’t matter. She knew that her mother had issues with how some slytherin we had treated her, but did not as a whole dislike the house. Apolline knew it wouldn’t matter the house, it was how she was in the house. How she then behaved and did in the house. Apolline trying to tidy her blonde hair, though without a mirror she wasn’t sure how it was sitting. But it didn’t matter because clear upon the hall, her name was called, Apolline reacted immediately, taking a small nervous step forward and then taking a much more normal step towards the stool. She glanced out across the hall and wondered what the next seven years would bring her. She closed her eyes as the hat was place on her head and tried to just be calm."You've got quite a bit of pressure on those shoulders and a drive to prove yourself and live up to your family name. You have a good mind for learning, but Ravenclaw won't quite help you towards your goals. No, you belong in...Gryffindor!" [/JUSTIFY]

(Y45) First Year: Apolline was very excited for Hogwarts. She had been hearing and knew about the school for a long while. She was sorted into gryffindor which she was very happy about given that that is the house her mother was in. Apolline was able to do well in her classes, got involved in numerous school clubs, attended all of the events and still managed to get O's in her classes. She was very happy with how her first year at the chool as been.
