Lali couldn't believe that the summer was over. She was glad though. Hogwarts was the one place that almost felt like home, her real home. The summer was spent with very few letters from Shui, Lali's real mother. Instead Lali spent everyday outside with her small cat Squirt at the home of the Lee's, Lali's foster parents.
Dannie had kept her company for the most part and they talked. Though it was still not the same as before. Dannie had even spoke about possibly coming back. That would be nice actually in Lali's opinion. Even though her foster sister was not in Ravenclaw, it would be nice to have a friend. Lali seemed short of them for the simple fact that she kept to herself.
As Lali leaned back on her arms, her legs in front of her and her small cat at her side, she watched the view of the lake. It still didn't seem real that she was a second year.
