Basic Appearance:
Annamaries slight frame has changed quite a bit over the past years. Currently, she stands at a solid 5ft 4ins tall and 120 lbs and her once slender built is starting to fill out into a shapely womanly figure. She has a rich chocolate complexion and has a natural beauty that radiates about her. In terms of clothing and style, Annamarie is a minimalist. Her choices of clothing are usually simple and neat (think girl-next-door chic). She usually limits her accessories down to a pair of earrings, a headband or clip, or a watch, although she always wears a necklace that she received from her father as a reminder of her late mother. Annamaries hair comes to about her shoulders and is a brownish-reddish color that highlights and brightens her face. When it is not loose, Annamarie puts her hair into a loose ponytail or messy bun. Her most striking features are her eyes and her smile. Her eyes are so dark that they almost look black. Although her smile and personality may deceive you, you can always tell exactly what Annamarie is feeling by looking into her eyes.
Personality:
Mainly, Annamaries personality is happily, personable, and upbeat. She loves to be around other people and making those around her happy. Although she can often appear like there is nothing bothering her, she often has bouts of guilt and anxiety that are caused by several past experiences and social triggers. She deals with this by bottling-up her own emotions and channeling them so that she can better focus on the needs of others. She kind of has a hero complex in the way that she feels like she has to save and protect people. This causes her to be gullible and easy to manipulate.
Pets:
Annamarie has an earless owl that she bought her 2nd year at the encouragement of her grandmother. There is no real bond there since she never really sends or receives mail.

Annamarie is African-American. Her family root run mostly in the American South, were her grandmother was born and raised until she went to Salem.

Interests or Hobbies:
Annamarie enjoys listening to music and appreciates the power of lyrics. When she gets really stressed or feels a certain strong emotion, she has a certain list of go-to songs that automatically calm her down.
Additional Skills:
Annamarie is pretty humble and doesnt consider herself to be skilled in anything in particular. She flies pretty well, is a fairly average student, and is pretty much well rounded.

Annamarie is empathic and feels for other people deeply.

Annamaries main weakness is that she is too trusting of people.

Annamaries favorite place is The Great Hall because it is the center of all social interaction at school. Whether you are part of the action or not, by just being in The Great Hall you are always in the middle of the pulse of the energy at school.
Friends:
In her first years at HNZ, Annamarie had a few good friends, but her guarded nature when it came to her personal life often hindered the progression of most of her relationships.
At the Salem Institute, she had more acquaintances than friends. Everyone she met there only seemed interested in her because of whom her grandmother was and just wanted to use her.
After her grandmothers death, Annamarie learned that it is not worth to mistrust the people close to you with your thoughts and emotions and she intends on being much more open when she returns to school.
Hogwarts House:
Annamarie was sorted in the noble house of Godric Gryffindor. The Sorting Hat told her that she knew herself well and that she would thrive in Gryffindor. Her loyalty and passion is makes her perfect fit for this house.

Annamarie hopes to get as much out of her remaining 3 years here as she can. She wants to make meaningful connections with her peers and learn a little something along the way.

Annamaries best subjects are Charms, Transfiguration, and Potions because these classes are engaging and allow her to be an active participate in the learning process.
Worst school subjects:
Annamaries worst subjects are Astronomy and History Magic the exact opposite reason as her best subjects.
Post Graduation:
Honestly, Annamarie has not thought that far. She is just trying to make it graduation and hopes everything will fall into place from there. If she had to choose a career today, she would probably want to be a Healer. She is also looking forward to having a family and getting married.
