There was only one person walking along the lakefront on that warm September afternoon. [Luna]http://www.polyvore.com/lunas_anniversary/set?id=15760679]Luna Paramore[/url] was currently circling the lake, looking for a decent spot to set up the small feast she had helped the house elves prepare for her and Angus on their Two year Anniversary, all packed into a rather large basket that was full of both Angus and Luna's favorites. The lakefront seemed like a good spot in theory but the wind was making the water go higher than usual on the ground, it was a good bet that a basket of food gobbled up by the monstrous lake would put a damper on the whole picnic. What was a picnic without food after all? Not much. Though all Luna really needed was Angus beside her to make the day fantastic.

After a few minutes of wandering Luna was considering forgetting the beauty of the lakefront and going for the memories the Garden held for the two of them, it was where they had spent the day the year before and many others, plus it had been where they had finally gotten together. But she finally found a place on the side of the lake farthest away from the castle and spread out the overly large blanket on the ground and smoothed it out before sitting the basket down on it and making herself comfortable on the ground. Angus wasn't actually bound to be there for another fifteen or twenty minutes so Luna decided to lay down for a bit, letting the warm spring heat tickle her face as she looked up at the perfectly blue sky. September 7th 2024, The perfect day for a picnic.

It had been two years since Angus had begun dating Luna, and he had loved every minute of it. He intended on dating her for many more years to come, probably marry her one day, he was head over heels in love with her. He couldn't contemplate being without her now, he thought about her all the time and he knew that if there was such a thing as 'the one', for Angus, it was Luna.

Having dozed off over one of his textbooks, Angus shook himself awake and checked the time. Crap! he thought, bolting out of the Slytherin Common Room and down to the Lakefront. He'd promised to meet Luna there about 15 minutes ago, and although she probably knew he was bound to be late, he still felt embarassed about actually being so late for such an important date for the two of them.

Pulling his jacket around him for warmth - it was a windy day, but still lovely - Angus spotted his love lying down on a blanket, and so jogged off to meet her. "Hello," he greeted with a grin, bending down to kiss her on the lips. "Happy anniversary!"

Luna couldn't help but let out a small giggle as the heard the thunking of footsteps on the ground headed in her direction. She tilted her head over to the side the noise was coming from and sure enough her love was rushing towards her. Right on time. she thought with a grin. After their first few outings she had realized Angus was perpetually late to things and she tended to be early most of the time unless it was for class, and as such Luna had started telling him to be at a place five or ten minutes before she actually expected him to be there, she didn't know for sure if he had picked up on this yet or not though. Either way it was amusing at times, just another one of his quirks. He wouldn't be the guy she loved without them.

It didn't take long for the distance between them to close and she propped herself up into a sitting position as he approached, meeting his kiss in the middle, using her hands to prop herself up until their lips had separated and she get into a more comfortable sitting position. "Happy Anniversary Angus!" she chirped before planting another kiss on his lips. "I hope you didn't eat a big lunch." she said, opening the basket where a vast array of mouth watering scents hit her nose. "Or else I may just have to eat all of this food myself." she ended grinning at him.
