Brightstone village was a real change from the hustle and bustle of Melbourne. It was a change. Rhiannon had the day off and had decided to take a trip to New Zealand. She had used floo powder to get to brightstone. She was now sitting in the park with a book and a sandwich she had bought from the cafe. She then settled herself on the grass and reached a journal out of her bag.
She had been working at the childrens hospital in Melbourne now for a year and had come to actually enjoy her job. There were hard times, each ward had had its own heartbreak. ther were some days where she had had to leave a ward for half an hour because she was crying. but she always found the children so inspiring. she remembered one girl fondly who loved magic. and had drawn her a picture of her and the other doctor who was working that day as wizards making the children better, she still had that picture in her kitchen. of course she was always careful not to let slip about her skills. she took a bite of her sandwich and started reading an article. about asthma and allergies in the under fours. it was interesting if not what she would have liked to be reading sitting outside in the sun. a novel would have been more fun but she needed to keep up with her development points in order to maintain her registration.
