Open Alone

Anastasie's second year had come and gone quickly. She couldn't help but feel down lately, especially considering both her school and home environment were both not at all pleasing. She had no friends at Hogwarts or anyone to talk to, no matter how much effort she tried to put into it, and she couldn't help but feel slightly alone with nothing but her classes to distract her. But as classes had not yet started and the start of year feast had only just concluded, Ana had nothing at all to distract her. She decided to make her way up to the student lounge right after the feast which seemed like the safest place she could be by herself. She rearranged the room, moving the furniture to the side and spreading herself out on the rug in the middle of the floor. This way she was able to relax and forget about her troubles as she did nothing but lay still, staring up at the dull ceiling. No one would enter the room, she was sure of it, as they would all be talking with their friends, telling them how their holidays had been and meeting the new first years. Ana couldn't ever participate in that and so figured spending her time in the student lounge was a much better alternative.
