Last semester had definitely been a whirlwind of emotions for Ares. After months of trying to figure out who his secret admirer was, and Jordie's desperate attempt to make it obvious to him, Ares and Jordie were now finally a couple. Ares felt like he was waking up from a dream everyday and like he was walking on a cloud wherever he went. But there was only one thing that was worrying him, and that was the mental wellbeing of his boyfriend. Jordie was always busy doing things, such as studying, tutoring, band practice, and even going on morning runs. It made Ares worry that soon enough he was going to overwork himself, and Ares didn't really want to see him like that. The teen had waited until his classes had finished for the day before quickly grabbing everything he needed. He brought pillows, blankets, and even some snacks that he lay out in front of the biggest window in the North Tower. He even situated some candles around, wanting to give it a bit of a romantic feel. When he was done, he excitedly ran down to the fourth floor to hopefully catch Jordie before he made his way to any sort of errands. But when he couldn't find him, he suddenly felt a little nervous and wondered where his boyfriend had gone.

Jordie may or may not have fallen asleep in the student lounge. His schedule was still as hectic as ever. A morning and evening run, yoga in the afternoons, band practice every other day, helping Aine and Renata as often as he could, extra quidditch practices with Leo and Renata when he could grab her. Helping Casper in the arts room, and studying whenever he had a moment. He yawned, his bag on his shoulder, and stopped when he saw Ares pacing by the entrance to the common room. With a tired smile he shuffled over, catching Ares' hand in his. "Hey, you." He greeted warmly. "What brings you out of the dungeons?"

Ares couldn't help but be a little startled as someone grabbed his hand. When he realised it was Jordie, he beamed, squeezing his boyfriend's hand tight in his own. "I'm taking you somewhere." he said, and before Jordie could argue, Ares quickly led him up the steps all the way to the North Tower, a little out of breath when they finally made it there. Ares covered his eyes with his hands before he could see it, and when they rounded the corner to the spot that Ares had set up, he removed his hands, unable to help the smile on his face as he waited for Jordie's reaction. "This is for us... Well, for you mostly, so you can take a bit of a break. We're going to watch the night sky together. What do you think?"

Jordie laughed lightly, letting Ares drag him away. He was a little nervous when the other boy covered his eyes, but he didn't fight it, trusting that Ares wouldn't let him trip on anything. His breath caught as he took in the scene before him, unthinkingly bringing his hands up over his mouth a moment before clasping them over his heart. "Oh, Arey," he breathed, before turning and trying to pull the boy down for a kiss. "Merlin, you are so sweet,"

Ares's cheeks turned a shade of pink as Jordie seemed perfectly happy with what he had done for them. He gladly kissed Jordie on the lips, hoping he would enjoy their night together. "Come, let's sit." he said, gently taking his hand and leading him to the blankets he had set up. He sat down, and then rummaged around in his picnic basket for the small box of chocolates he had put together for Jordie. "Here, these are for you." he said, handing them over to him. They had all of his favourite chocolates in them, and even chocolate covered nuts.

Jordie followed Ares easily, settling in next to him. His eyes lit up at the offered chocolates. He opened them immediately, eating one with a small hum of satisfaction before offering another to Ares. Once the chocolate was eaten, he leaned in and pressed a kiss to Ares jaw before leaning his head on Ares shoulder. Jordie sighed happily. "You are the best most wonderful boyfriend ever."

Ares smiled as Jordie seemed to enjoy the chocolates. "No, I think that's you. You're amazing." Ares replied softly as Jordie complimented him. As he looked up at the sky, he noticed the first star appear within the darkness. "See that star? That can be our star. Our little secret." He ran his fingers through the boy's hair, just taking it all in for a moment before speaking again. "Now Jordie, isn't this much better? Better than being too busy? Better than running yourself off your feet?"

Jordie giggled softly, snuggling into Ares. He looked up at the sky, smiling at the star that appeared. He sighed at Ares' words, shutting his eyes. "Remind me not to let you see this semesters schedule," he teased lightly. It was a little better but not a lot. "I didn't sign up for as many classes, does that count?"
