There is a simple silver piercing in his right ear. Because it is typically seen as the side gay men pierce, he pierced it in his youth as more of a statement than an accessory. Another simple silver piercing also adorns his nipple, after being convinced to have it pierced by his partner.

Loving parents who were rather well-off and comfortable in their Ministry jobs, with a nice house and decent food on the table. Extended family were all but non-existent, with his maternal side never mentioned by his mother, whilst his fathers parents lived on the other side of the globe. In an effort to give their children the opportunity to intermingle with non-magical children, Aeon's parents enrolled him in a muggle public school. Despite this, his closest friends growing were his brother and their cousin, Kida, who would often come stay with his family for periods of time. The trio routinely got up to mischief, though as they grew, a rift developed between the twins as they came into their own vastly opposite personalities, with Kida's presence the main factor keeping them together.

By eleven, Aeon attended the relatively new branch of Hogwarts in New Zealand, rather than the original in Scotland as his parents had initially intended, given how much closer the new school was to Australia. During the ceremony, the hat considered him for both Hufflepuff and Gryffindor, before eventually settling on the latter, a house he shared with his twin and their cousin. His first year was a flurry of activity. He made friends with an assortment of students, merfolk and centaurs, though his petulant behaviour often landed him no shortage of enemies either, and his relationship with his sibling in particular grew more strained as they lead different lives and met different people. The majority of his time was spent having adventures in the Forbidden Forest, or searching the castle for secret passageways. His short temper with a portrait lead to the accidental discovery of portrait holes around the castle, which acted as Aeon's main method of transportation around the castle during his first year.
