Luciano felt in need of a good adventure, something to get his adrenaine pumping. Ever since coming here to New Zealand, he had been bored, unpackng endless boxes, and rearranging his new bedroom. So here he was, out for a walk in Obsidian Harbour. When he reached the end, he sighed. Nothing much exciting had happened in his ten minute walk. Just as he was truning to go back, he spotted a rather delapidated sign that read
Bleak Street
Thinking that this place could be a little more excting, he set off down the narrow alley that sign pointed to.

A little shiver of fear shot down Luciano's spine, but he ignored it, as he emerged out into a street almost as dark as the alley he had just come through. He set off, cautiously, down the street, occsionally glancing into shop windows, but looking away hurriedly when he saw skulls, and poisonous looking potions. Hooded and cloak figures watched him from dark corners. Fear was really settling into his stomach. He didn't want to be here. Turning around, he attempted to retrace his steps back to Obsidian Harbour, but found himself going in circles. Swearing under his breath, Luciano continued to search for the alley.

Izumi had just gotten out of another photo shoot, a bit insulted by her photographer's comments. She was fine, she thought, but the girl who took her pictures always had something to say about her outfit. For a change she decided to be less girly, wearing jeans and a blue halter top. as long as she was at it, she might as well explore a more menicing place; and that place was bleak street.

Taking a turn down the alley, she smiled to herself. Ever since moving in with Kayden, she had been less girly, and a bit more strong, being able to fend for herself. Up ahead, she could see a boy. He looked about her age, and hopefully knew where he was. Not that the alley wasn't fun, she was just a bit creeped out.

"Sir?" She asked as she approached him.

Luciano turned quickly when he heard a voice behind him. He almost sighed in relief when he saw that it was only a girl, who looked around his own age. Not used to being adressed this way, he held out his hand
"Luciano" he said, smiling despite the feelng of fear that was still present in his stomach.
"Do you live here?" He asked her, looking at her properly for the first time.

She smiled as the boy introduced himself. She bowed to him, as her custom, and said. "Izumi, i mean I'm Izumi." She blushed slightly, she could be a screw up sometimes. He looked at her and asked if she lived around here. "Yeah, kinda. I'm boarding with a transfer hopeful. What about you?" She asked, making friendly conversation, looking around the dark alley.

Luciano smiled
"Nice to meet you" he said, before looking around. He wondered if she could help him get back to Obsidian Harbour. He didn't want to ask her just yet. She seemed nice, and hopefully she would be at Hogwarts next year too. He almost laughed at her next comment
"I am a transfer hopeful" he told her, smiling again
"What about you? Or are you already at Hogwarts?" he asked.

She smiled. "It's nice to meet you too." She said.

"Really, so you want to go to Hogwarts. I am too. i really hope i get accepted!" She said grinning at him. In her mind she though, 'well at least they will have one cute guy.' She shook her head lightly and smiled. "So where are you transferring from?"

Luciano nodded. Getting accepted had been a big thing on his mind lately
"Me too" he replied.
"What year are you going into?" he asked quickly, before answering her question
"I used to go to Hogwarts Scotland" he told her. Luciano hadn't seen Izumi around Hogwarts Scotland, so he presumed she must have come from another wizarding school.

"Cool." She said smiling without her teeth.

"I'm going into my forth year as far as i know." She said. "What was it like there?" She asked referring to his old school.

Luciano smiled
"We'll be in the same year" he said. It would be nice to know somebody in his year, and it would be even better if they were in the same house.
"It was alright" he said truthfully. To him, it had just been school- except for the fact that he lived in the building.

"Just alright, well that's boring," She said with a sigh. She liked his comment about them being in the same year, it made her feel better. "So anyways..." She trailed off, then picked back up. "What house were you in?"

Luciano nodded, laughing a little
"Yeah, just a bit" he said. He smiled down at her. Her next question brought up the subject that had been on his mind ever since he had found out he was going to Hogwarts New Zealand.
"I was in Hufflepuff" Luciano said, a frown appearing on his face
"But alots changed though, so I'm not sure which I'll be in this year" he said.
"Which house do you think you'll be in?" Luciano asked her, looking at her curiously.

She listened as he looked down on her. She stood on her tip-toes making herself as tall as him, and looked at him. "Everyone said I'd be suited for Hufflepuff, but my mother curses me to Slytherin. Before i left she said that they'd teach me a lesson." Izumi shrugged, though it hurt to think of her mother's words.

She missed her mom, as much as she hated to admit it, she really did. She looked at him, thinking of what to say next.

Luciano laughed slightly, as she stood on tip toes to be his height. The laugh soon turned to a frown
"But that's awful" he said. Teach her a lesson? He didn't even want to know what that would constitute. He gathered that she didn't live at home either. Luciano couldn't even began to imagine what that would be like.
"Well, we might end up in the same house then" Luciano said.

Looking around, he thought he caught a glimpse of someone, or something, darting behind a grimy pillar
"You wouldn't happen to know how to get back to Obsidian harbour would you?" he asked, unable to keep nervousness out of his voice
"We could keep talking there" he suggested. This wasn't the best place for a friendly chat.

She frowned when he frowned, and dropped to her original height. "It's okay, she's mad because I'm a witch, she's been like this for a while." Izumi said. The boy seemed very nervous so she nodded. "Yes, i think that's a god idea."

((Do you want me to start a post in obsidian?))

Sure, if you want, thanks :)

"Oh" Luciano said, trying to understand. He couldn't say he had been through anything like that. His parents were supportive of him, whatever he ended up doing.
Nodding, and casting a furtive glance over his shoulder, he followed her back to Obsidian, thoroughly relieved that they were leaving.
