Taylor Porter was sat on a bench in Brightstone. He had just got off work after only working a half day. A fact which he was grateful of. It had been so tedious today because he had just been sat still doing paper work because of all the trials which had been happening since the new minister had been elected. Of course it was good that people who had done some terrible thins were going to Azkaban but it just gave them so much more work to do. So he was making the most of his time off and enjoyed watching the world go by. He often just sat ad watched people pass as it gave him a picture of other peoples life and how different it was to his. He had no kids and n one to greet him when he went home and yet he saw happy families walk past on heir days out. It made him smile that his job made it safer for those people.

Rebecca was happy to be done her first day at work. It wasn't that bad at all if she was quite honest. Everyone was friendly and the staff was great. The campus itself was even better seeing as the lake was right there. The blonde still had Taylor on her mind though, she was so happy that he would help her find out what happened to her parents.

She was turning a corner in Brightstone and saw Taylor, what a coincidence. " Hello stranger." She said smiling as she stepped beside him.

Turning his head as he heard someone speak to him. A huge grin crossing his face as he saw who it was who was talking to him. He had certainly not expected to see her so soon. "Hey look who it is. How's work treating you." He asked as he stood up to go and see her. His mood had certainly got a lot better now that he was with her, he felt on top of the world. He guessed she had started work now after that guy had collected her from their last meeting. That had annoyed him a little bit but not so much now seeing as they were here talking once again.

Rebecca smiled looking out into the distance. " Well.. it was a good day I could say." She looked at him. " The kids aren't that bad and the staff is great." She smiled. " How are you, bored I'm assuming?" She laughed, " Let's do something fun.. Fun isn't a word that I've known for the past few weeks." She shook her head.

Taylor continued to smile as he listened to Becky talk. He was glad that he had had a good day and everyone was being nice to her. He had heard stories of Professors who had had a less than nice first day experience. "Im glad it went well. Lets just hope the rest are just as good." He said happily to her. "Hmm fun. Well it depends what your opinion of fun is. We can get a drink or something to eat i you want." He said looking around for cafes or pub.

Rebecca looked around, " I was thinking more like an adventure." She gave a devious smiled. " How about we go to a forest near here and play hide and seek?" She laughed. " I know it sounds childish.. but I really would like to do it." She shrugged her shoulders.

Taylor looked a her with one raised eye brow. "An adventure?" He said quizzically as she spoke again. He was't aware of forest near by but he was a certified apperater so he cold apperate her to a forest if that was what she wanted. "Ok but there are no forests near here unless you want to apperate." He said folding his arms over his chest

Rebecca nodded he head as she heard Taylors suggestion. " That sounds great." She nodded. " Where abouts is this forest?" Bec asked looking over at him.

Smiling as she said that his idea sounded good he bit his lower lip as he thought for a second. The where abouts was a factor that he had not thought about. It was strange how everywhere he knew with a wood kind of went from is mind when he was on the spot. "Well I used to live near by a wood when I lived in Rhode Island. I could apperate us there if you want to." He said slowly as he thought about the wood. It had been a while since he had gone there himself, he did hae good memories of there though.

Rebecca nodded, that seemed like a good place to go. The blonde bit her lip, "Let's go." She said before holding his hand. " I'm ready when you are." The blonde smiled over at Taylor.

Taylor couldn't help but keep the smile on his face as she took hold of his hand in hers. Picturing the wood entrance in his mind Taylor apperated to his home country. Once the pulling and tugging sensation had ended and his feet were placed firmly on the floor he looked up at the trees. "Here we are." He said looking to his side at her. "Want to go in first?" He asked with a chuckle behind hi tone

Rebecca held tightly onto Taylors arm as she apparated. Once she was on the ground, the blonde opened her eyes, to see a nice forest. " Sure." She said to Taylor, making her way in the forest. The blonde ran away from him. " Let's start." She laughed.

With a playful roll of his eyes and a chuckle he walked casually in to the woods. "Ok you hide and il seek." He said as he followed the path. He knew this wood like the back of his hand, it came with growing up basicly being here everyday. Besides he was a gent and the lady always went first. "One, two, three." He said slowly as he began to count

Rebecca laughed as she ran through the forest. She was in so deep that she couldn't even hear Taylor any more. The blonde then climbed up on a tree, waiting for Taylor to come.

Putting his hands in his jean pockets he strolled leasuirly around the foot path and walked in to the depths of the wood. He kept an eye out for Becky as he walked. He didn't look too hard as he didn't want to take this game too seriously and spoil it. "Hmmm where could she be?" He asked retorically as he contiued to follow the path and stoppiung by the side of a tree. "Couldn't be up this tree could she?" He said playfully as he acted dumb and didn't look up.

Rebecca laughed as she saw Taylor walked around looking for her. " No she's definitely not up here at all." The blonde laughed as she climbed down the tree. " You go hide. " She said turning her back so that he could go hide.

Taylor laughed and leant against the tree before looking up. "You must have a twin then." He joked before standing back up strait and walking aff to hide. He didn't walk too far before sitting down behind a bush. "Ready." He called out to let her know to come look for him. He had not actually played this game since he was a first year at Salem, about ten years ago.

Rebecca laughed at Taylor. " I must." She turned around to go look for Taylor. The blonde walked around the forest trying to find him. She turned corners and walked, but it was also very peaceful. " Well hello there." She tapped on his back. " Do I know you?" Bec sat beside him on the floor.

A cool breeze blew past Taylor and sent a chill down his spine. Or maybe it was Becky touching his back. For not he would lame the weather. "No sorry wrong person." He joked before standing up and cracking his back and then neck. "Woah my back is so stiff now. I wouldn't recommend crouching down on the floor for that long." He said leaning to the side as he feel his back crack in a few different places.

Rebecca smiled as she crossed her legs on the mossy ground. " I would agree." She laughed. " Sit down, it's better." The blonde tapped the spot beside her. " This forest is wonderful." She smiled up at him.

Taylor tilted his head back and groaned playfully before he sat back down on the ground next to her. "Yeah it is aint it. I practically grew up here. When ever my parents asked me where i wanted to go for the day i always said here." He said with a smile as he looked around. "I used to think that th trees would talk to each other when no one was around so i tried to sneak around hoping i would hear them." He said with a laugh. "I was a special child back then." He said smiling at the memory

Rebecca turned her head to Taylor as he spoke. " I just went to the beach with my dog or brother." She said happily. Those days were the best, the care free ones. " My parents never complained about me leaving or anything. It's like they knew that I was going to one day, get away from Florida." The blonde shrugged her shoulders.

Keeping quiet as Becky spoke Taylor couldn't help but feel sorry as she mentioned her parents. He could never leave his parents, he always went to see them a least once or twice a month. Just to catch up and show that he had not forgotten about them. Besides he was a mummys boy at heart, not that he would tell anyone that. "I think that everyone has to get away at some point in their lives, spread there wings in the real world." He said swallowing as he spoke, the ground starting to feel old to him now but he tried not to take any notice of that. "You know if you ever need someone to talk to about anything im always willing to listen." He said with a comforting smile.

Rebecca looked down at the moss, woodchips and little prices of grass. " I believe that too, but I had to learn that early." She gave a little smile. Rebecca often pondered upon the thought of her brother and how he had to deal with her growing up. " Oh thank you Taylor." The blonde smiled widely at him.

Scratching the back of his neck awkwardly as he listened to Rebecca speak again he didn't really know how to respond so thought for a second. "At least you have more experience. You are here now because o the choices you made. If you didn't go early you may not be a Professor right now." He said s he eye brows knitted together. "Truth be told i still visit my parents regally so i haven't quite left home just yet." He said trying to make her feel a little better but e didn't know if he had done a good job at that or not. "Dont worry about it. I have been told im a good listener for a guy. Im still not sure if that should be a complement or now." He joked.
