🌹 Rose Giving A Strange Red Rose

After delivering her rose to one Gryffindor, she noticed that there was another Gryffindor on her list. Still at the entrance of their common room, she asked the same student who'd helped her before if they could look for Eric Holland inside as well.

After returning from lunch, Eric had shut himself up in the common room again, at least there he could stay away from all the rose drama as much as possible. And if he was honest, he was still reeling a bit from the one he got from Minnie. It had been so nice, and he needed to talk to her about it. He'd even considered sending her a note back, but he didn't know how to put his feelings into words. He sighed when someone called for him again, and he headed to the entrance of the common room. "What do you want?"

''To become a famous Quidditch player, you?'' Paige said sarcastically. She was holding on to a basket full of roses so thought that it was quite obvious what she wanted. ''I have a rose with your name on it,'' she added, giving him the red rose and note that came along with it.

Eric rolled his eyes at the girl's sarcasm. "So does half the school. Get a more original dream." he snapped at her, then reached for the rose she had for him. He faltered at the sight of the red petals, his eyes widening for a second before they narrowed in suspicion. He'd been down this path before. He grabbed the rose roughly and opened the note, not realizing he had some hope of it being genuine until it was squashed by the contents of the note. Sydney. He growled in anger, throwing the rose at the girl before tearing up the note. "This event sucks." He spat at her, hiding his disappointment behind anger.
