Maria walked to the tower and took a seat on a bench overlooking the forest. Maria wanted to spend some time alone and just relax. The year had begun and so far it was going great. She got a chance to meet some amazing people and the relationships were slowly developing.
 
Max was just running out of the tower when he saw Maria walk up and sat down, so Max walked up and thought it was nice to say"Hi , how are you doing tonight?" As he adjusted his sling so his arm would be more comfortable.
 
Maria was preoccupied by her thoughts when she heard a familiar voice. She looked up and saw Max. She was happy to see him. ' Hi Max, I doing great, you seem in a rush. Everything ok?' She asked with concern.
 
Max laughed and said"Yea I am okay I just ran into a girl and made a huge mistake."He laughed then said"But that is probably why i deserved to get my arm hurt." Max then laughed and said"So why are you up here at this time if I may ask?"
 
Maria listened to him then replied ' you can have a seat if you like and tell me about this girl?' Maria thought about Max s question. ' I just wanted to spend some time alone, don't worry your not bothering me. Just some things on my mind.' She said to Max with a half smile.
 
Max took her up on her offer and told her about the girl"Well I feel really guilty about it cause she has a boyfriend and her name is Eleona, I know I should not have said anything but I went and said whatever came to mind and now look I probably got her in trouble and I didn't want that"Max looked down then said"The one thing I have about that time is the guitar she helped me make which I can't play cause I hurt myself real badly." Then Max showed her the guitar and asked"What do you think?"
 
Maria was surprised to hear that he was talking about Eleona. ' Oh I know Eleona. Well Max do you regret saying what you did? Because I'm pretty sure it feels great to let put your feeling.' Maria asked. She looked at the guitar. ' Max that is an amazing guitar, wish I knew how to play acoustic I know bass but not this. ' Maria said
 
"In a way i do regret it but then sometimes I don't, but believe me I might be hurt but that doesn't mean I am not waiting to get jumped or something." then Max said"well maybe when I get my arm healed I could teach you I love playing the guitar so it wouldn't be any trouble to teach you." Max said and smiled at her.
 
Max was very sweet. ' Dont worry youself by thinking that you did something wrong. It's not a crime to have feelings for someone. You never know, maybe this will get her thinking about her feelings for you.' Maria replied slowly. She really hoped Max would find someone, he deserved someone special and kind hearted.
 
Max looked at her then said"I can't help but think something is gonna happen to me, it never fails and I wanna agree with you on how it is not a crime to have feelings for someone but something tells me it might not matter."Max was constantly keeping aware of his surroundings he had a feeling someone was mad at him and he wasn't about to get caught off guard.
 
Maria turned and looked at Max with her hazel eyes. ' Max if you keep thinking about this, you wil drive yourself insane. You did nothing wrong and no one can just come and punish you for it.' Maris said with concern for him.
 
Max looked at her and said"Maybe but it is better to be ready then to have your guard down in this stage of time."
 
Maria wanted Max to relax and know that whTbhe did was normal and dwelling on the matter would not make him feel better. ' If you really want, you can have your guard up but push it to the back of your mind. If you thing about it constantly it will become exhausting for you.' Maria concluded. Max was a seet guy and she didn't want him of all people to worry about nothing
 
Max thought about it then said"I suppose it is time to reveal a trick my grandmother once taught me."So he took out he wand and mumbled a few words and pointed it at himself and right then his arm and head healed back to 100%"That is not an easy spell to learn but my grandma says it is an old family secret."He smiled to Maria.
 
Maria could not believe what just happened before her eyes but she shook if off and said
' So now do you feel better about the whole situation?' Maria asked with a little smile.
' You really like Eleona?' She asked Max.
 
"Yea I feel loads better"Max then heard her ask if he really had feelings for Eleona and said"Yes but it is weird because i have never had those kind of feelings before."Max looked up into the sky now that he was healed he didn't have to think to stay on guard another old family secret which was #2 out of 5 that his grandma told him about.
 
Maria smiled at him when he told her how he felt and how these feelings were foreign to him. ' I truly hope things workout for you.' Maria said looking at him. She pulled her legs up and began to hug her legs. The night was just right and she began to think of Alex once again. Why? She did not know
 
Max saw Maria was thinking about something then said"Is something wrong? I can't read minds or anything but you look kinda sad."After which he thanked her for hoping for the best.
 
Maria had never told anyone at Hogwarts about Alex. When Max asked her what was troubling her, she wanted to tell him because she had been keeping this inside her for such a long time. Maria looked at Max and began ' Max...I had a childhood friend named Alex who recently passed away and for some strange reason I can't stop thinking about him. I knew him from a very young age so I'm very hurt but his death. I haven't told this to anyone not even Hamza.' She finished. Maria felt like crying but she held her tears back.
 
Max was amazed he looked at her and said"I don't know what it is like to lose a childhood friend but it must hurt a lot, and why haven't you told Hamza? I am sure he could help you a lot on this."
 
Maria had thought about telling him but never followed through. ' I guess I didn't want to worry him. It will take time for me to heal.' She finished. Maria thought about the night when Max met Hamza. It wasn't a pleasant meeting. ' Max I want to apologize to you for the other night..'
 
Max looked at her then said"Whats there to say sorry for? I was the one to walk up at the wrong time it is not like you could have planned on me coming by while you guys were alone."Max smiled.
 
' I still feel like I should say sorry. I'm sure Hamza wouldn't have reacted the way he did if it were a different time.' Maria replied. Max was nothing but nice to her so she felt he deserved an apology.
 
Max looked at her and said"Na it is okay things happen so don't sweat it."

Eleona was just doing her daily jog when she saw Maria and someone else talking. She slowed down a bit and stopped in front of them, "Hi!" It was only then that she realized the other person was Max. She bit her lip and decided to be nice, "Oh... Hi Max..." Her now sore voice mumbled. She averted eye contact and somewhat shrugged him off. Of course it wasn't on purpose, that was just her natural reaction to things like this. She coughed a bit and then looked at the ground, "So... Whats up?"
