Paige was missing David more and more, but his letters were a bit vague and Paige did not know is address. How stupid could she be not having asked for his address, she hoped that she could see him again just once or twice. Paige liked his mood even if he was depressed, she wanted to be there for him. Comfort him when he needed it, she could not give a flying salamander about the age difference they became good friends in just one year. Paige was sitting mockingly in a deserted corridor, she was sketching David from mind. She began this drawing in the holiday and it still was not finished, she kept adding more and more to the drawing. David was her mentor and kept her on the right path, without him she would have still be mean with the desire to kill the whole school. Or maybe not the last part, but the first part was really true.

She had made new friends, but David was one that she would never forget. Paige must say that the new Muggle Studies Professor looked like David, but David would never want to become a teacher his moods would make it difficult to teach students. Paige wanted Muggle Studies just because the Professor looked like David, it was pretty pathetic. Paige had a letter hidden in her robe for David, but the front only said: To David Pike from Paige Rivers.'' Paige did not know more details, he knew hers so that was pretty easy. The corridor she was in was mostly empty for some paintings that were talking now and then. Paige had a conversation with a painting once, but they are not great talkers. Paige her blue eyes stood kind of sad, she did not want David to leave and she had wished that he had failed his exams. One more year, you do not want to know what Paige would have given for that.

Professor David Pike sat at his desk in his office. How strange of a title that was. Professor. If you had asked him a year ago, he would have never guessed that he would be a teacher. He still wasn't really sure what compelled him to apply for the job. To be honest, he wasn't really sure how he got it. He was much to quiet to really make an impression on any of the other teachers. Well, whatever. He was employed now. And that was good. And he got to stay at Hogwarts, which was his home. He got to thinking about his old (well, not too old) days at Hogwarts. The friends he hadn't made. And the few that he had. He got to thinking about Paige, who was still at Hogwarts, although he hadn't actually seen her yet. Granted, it'd only been a week. David got up from his desk and walked out into the corridor.

Slowly, he walked with his head down, occasionally looking up to make sure he didn't run into anything. After making a turn, he looked up and brushed some hair out of his face. In front of him stood none other then Paige. She appeared to be sketching something. David silently crept up to her and watched her sketch what appeared to be a version of himself, "I believe you have the nose wrong, love." he said quietly to Paige.

Paige was still sketching and everything around her disappeared she did not notice Professor Pike walking down the corridor. Until she heard a familiar voice, the voice of her lost friend David. ''Oh, I have?'' She looked at David and he was right the nose was wrong. Paige her cheeks began to colour a faint red, she never showed her drawings to anyone and she drew him that more awkward then ever. ''I am sorry that I was drawing you.'' Paige was attempting to tear the page out of her sketch book. Paige was right David was a professor now and they could still speak to each other. It was a weird feeling that he was not gone, she had even cried at his graduation.

Paige was so glad that David was back and she had so many questions. ''What happened to you and how are you.'' Paige was asking so many questions.Paige was wondering what he thaught at this school, she did not have him on her schedule so he taught a subject for third year plus or flying lessons. Paige did not know and she was eager to find out.
