Today was the first day Jerry's dad actually let him explore New Zealand. The wonders upon wonders that New Zealand held were finally being opened to him. Opened for him to discover and learn about. Jerry had been walking for about 10 miles when he had come upon this village. It was titled: Brightstone Village. It sounded good due to the name. However, apart from the shops he noticed an old mansion that looked as if it hadn't been taken care of for 100 years. It frieghtened Jerry and he thus he started to explore the depths of the Brightstone shops. He came across vendors of all sorts. They sold everything he could imagine. His father had given him 20 galeons before he left and he intended on using some of it. After all, his father gave it to him.

He presently came across a Butter Bear vendor and Jerry went up to him. "1 butter bear!" Jerry said cheerfully. He had heard so much about it from his father. Infact, this was one of the things his father wished him to get when he came up here. A man handed him the drink and Jerry paid the price of 5 galeons. He didn't know if that was cheap or expensive, but he didn't really care since it wasn't his money. Jerry drank it fast and savored the remaining flavour. His father was right, this stuff was good. Thus, Jerry went off to explore more shops. Today was his day to explore.

Oscar had gone home for a few days. School was boring, and he couldn't understand why his dad didn't just let him, quit the school and just get ready for magical school. Oscar got up late that morning. He didn't need to go to school, so he decided that he would have a day out. Another one. He seemed to take more than just a few. But knowing that he was soon to go to a wizarding school, meant that Oscar had grown bored of his current school. Oscar after a quick brunch took his bike and rode off in the direction of the magic land.

It didn't take as long for Oscar to reach the outskirts of Brightstone. He Cycled through the little villiage and came to the end of the street. He turned his bike and looked back round. It was cool. They sold everything on the street. Oscar was really looking forward, to learning how to use each of the different items. It all seemed so cool and interesting. He had been about to set back off down the street, to look for something to do, when a boy, about his age, was walking towards where Oscar stood. Oscar wondered if the boy knew where he was going. It would be good to make a friend. Oscar looked at the boy.

"Mate, I would look where I was going if i was you." Oscar called in his New Zealand accent, referencing the fact that the boy was not looking where he was going and heading for his bike.
