Riley was walking around the harbour with his hands in his pockets and his head down. He was thinking about his dad, something he didnt like to do. He couldnt help it how ever, the thought that he now had no parents was sort of scary for him. He couldnt talk to Adele about it because he was supposed to be her strong man who never gets up set. How could he talk to her about this when he couldnt even explain it to himself, he had not even liked his dad.

With a sigh Riley walked over to the railings that over looked the water and leant against them. The wind blew through his hair and sent a shiver down his spine, but it wasnt a cold one. He ran his hand through his hair and then down his face. Riley sighed again as he looked at the water below him

Raziel was in town picking up a few things for his son, Gabriel, party. Him and his wife have been planning for a few weeks, trying to get all the owls sent. The party would not happen till the weather warmed up a bit but it was still a most to start planning early. Raziel decided to take a brief break and decided to look out across the water. The harbour was cold but beautiful this time of year. Raziel enjoyed winter the best it was time for the end to take its last breath only to be reborn the following year. Raziel then saw a young man out of the corner of his eye who looked a little blue.

"Hey son, if you are thinking about jumping in I may have to stun you before you get over the railing . The water this time of year is far to cold, and I am no spring chicken to be jumping of bridges to save a drowning man!" Raziel laughted in a booming voice as he turned to face the young stranger. The man was a strapping man who looked pretty well kept Raziel would guess the kid was about twenty-ish give or take a year or two. Raziel was reminded of his own foster son Link who was still M.I.A..

Riley was deep in though as he began to think about his little sister and how she would be moving in with him and Cyndi. He had hardly heard the voice next to him but did look up when he heard it. Riley laughed and shook his head. He wasnt much of a swimmer, he could swim well but he didnt really like to do it. " Oh dont worry i dont plan on jumping in. It would be just a bit too cold for me." He joked. Riley liked to talk to new people and this guy looked older, like late twenties early thirties. Riley wasnt too good at guessing age but he could give rough boundaries on it. " Im guessing you went shopping then. Just an out of the blue though." He laughed as he looked at the bags in the mans hand

The man seemed to brighten up a bit from his joking around which eased Raziels troubled mind for a bit at least. Raziel smiled as the boy noticed his bags and guessed the rather obvious. "Yeah I have a growing toddler at home who expects me to shower him with more gifts than he could ever imagine. I also have a wife who does not mind a gift every once again as well. My name is Raziel Black nice to meet you." Raziel said as he reached out a calloused hand to shake.

Riley reached out to shake his hand with a smile. Once he had shook it he released the hand and returned to leaning on the railings. " Yeah i have a kid on the way with my fiancée so soon i will have a toddler that wants loads of toys." He commented as he thought about his soon to be child. He had a feeling it was going to be a boy, a sun. Riley still didnt know what he would call it but Adele had liked the name he said Tyson. " So how is yours?" He asked curiously. Riley liked kids, since his first girl friend here had got pregnant he had had a huge paternal thing going on

Riley had a firm hand shake, which was a good thing it showed confidence,"Did you say you are going to be a dad ? You are a little young to be having a kid, your still a kid yourself !" Raziel said with a fatherly tone. He was surprised at how soon kids these days were settling down, what happened to the days when people waited? Raziel dropped the subject and focused on the question at hand. "Gabriel is his name and he is a handful but he is a happy kid surrounded by parents and family who love him and that is what matter. He is not my only kid though I have a foster son about your age maybe younger and three step childern and a step son in law." Raziel laughed at how huge his family was, he had a small army at his disposal. "What is your wife to be's name?".

Riley laughed and nodded. He knew he was a little young for marriage and kids but the way he saw it was you need to take life as it comes and make the most of it. " Well yeah im a little young but she is the one so why wait. And when she got pregnant that was just an added gift." He shrugged. He had already gotten used to the idea after Ana had had his child but that had not gone quite to plan. "Sounds like you have a large family. Her name is Adele Mathews, soon Adele Smith." Riley said with a huge grin on his face. " And besides im not that young, nearly 19. How old were you when you got your first child?" He said with a slight tone in his voice

"You are confident and steadfast and that makes you seem older in my eyes. So how is your family dealing with the engagement and baby or are they not dealing with it?" Raziel said as he thought of the difficulty that went into trying to raise afamily and supporting that family on ones own. Raziel looked off in the distance and thought about the boys questions before he spoke foolishly giving the young Riley the wrong vibe.

"I was about 32 when I had my first son" Raziel said as he laughed to think that he had managed to avoid the very common mistake of the accidental pregnancy. Raziel turned to the boy and smiled enjoying the simple conversation.

Riley shrugged. His family didnt really care about what he did with his life. His dad was dead, as was his big brother and his mum. His other big brother just didnt care if he was dead or alive and his little sister was just getting her head around the hige change that their family had gone through. "Well my family are not the really caring type. They wouldnt be bothered if i was or not and to be honest i dont really care what they think." He said with a sigh. At least his son wouldnt be scum like the most part of his disfunctional family. Riley would make sure he was raised propperly.

His eye brows raised at Raziel's answer. "32. Wow no offence but thats pretty old. I was a dad when i was 17 but that had not worked and my daughter died. Long story." He said swallowing hard. That had been when he was with Ana but she and him had split up and she had changed so much since then. She had killed his dad after all but he couldnt do anything as it was Theo who had to do something as he was there watching the whole thing.

"Everyone needs a family so why dont you come by my annual BBQ here coming up when the weather warms up. You should bring your wife to be and newborn to the mix,all ages are welcome and my wife and I do not mind opening our doors to anyone. So what do you say?" Raziel said trying to clear the air of the sadness that seemed to find its way into all of his conversation these days. The boy seemed to have had a rough life and Raziel felt the fatherly instinct wake up in him as he talked to Riley.
