A letter to Kiera

Daniel sat down and started his letter to the wonderful Kiera.


Dear Kiera,
How are you? I'm sorry that I had to leave early. I couldn't leave my parent's wondering where I was, but tell Caysi I didn't tell them where she was. How is it back at your school? I hope that it's wonderful. I wish to see you again. So what do you like to do for fun?

He tied the parchment around the bird's leg and sent it flying away.
 
Kiera was surprised when and unfamiliar bird came knocking on her window. She opened it and let the bird in. She untied the letter from the bird's leg. She opened in and found that the letter was from Daniel Finnigan. Kiera shrugged. She was confused as to why he would write her but she wrote him back.
Daniel,

I am great! I didn't get get hurt at my competition! I actually got second! I was so surprised and amazed! Now I want first! Dont worry about Caysi. She is doing fine but I will make sure to pass along your message. I am happy to be back at school but I miss my family. How are you? How is your school?

For fun, I mostly like sports. I love playing football. I can hold my own against the boys! I also of course love my gymnastics. It sort of consumed my summer. I cant wait til I get to compete again!
