A Horrible Day

Eleona felt her heart ripping in two as she walked down the street, this was the worst pain she had ever experienced. It was her late mother's birthday, and where was her father? Out prancing around with some hussy with a big butt.
'How could he just forget about her like that?' She silently screamed in her head, letting tears finally fall down her pale face, '...Didn't he love her at all?!'
She sat on a fountain and began weeping bitterly, for once not even caring about what people thought of her. This was the second worst day she had ever had.

Ashlynn was strolling around the streets for the third time that week; she just couldn’t get enough of this magical place. There were new sights to see everyday, and who knows, maybe she’d get a painting out of this. She chuckled at the idea. Of course, she knew Muggles, or at least that’s what she thought they were called, couldn’t see it. That made her feel special. She looked at her iPod. It was getting sort of late. She ought to get back to the inn or her mother might worry. She was just about to stuff her sketchbook back into her bag and turn to leave when she saw a girl crying on a fountain. Curious as she was, Ashlynn went over. Bluntly as ever, she asked, “Yo, why’re you crying?”

Eleona looked up and began sniffling, "M-my stupid father..." She wiped the tears from her eyes and tried to clear her throat, but it wasn't working.

Ashlynn frowned at the girl. What a vague statement. "That was very vague," she blurted. "What about him? I mean, my father's kinda stupid sometime; he did divorce my mom. That was freakin stupid of him." She crossed her arms with a huff. At least her family was fairly happy about it. She felt bad for the girl. She cleared her throat and fished a stray tissue out of her bag, handing it to the girl. "Would you like a tissue?" She sat down next to her.
