A good place to sit and think?

Sandie made her way out of the castle and over towards the Lake, breathing in the fresh, warm, spring air. It would be Halloween soon, and Sandie had no idea what she would be dressing up as for the Halloween Ball. That was the reason she was heading out to the Lake on that fine, Saturday afternoon. She was hoping it would inspire her. She absoloutely loved the Lake. It was one of her favorite places at Hogwarts, it was absoloutely beautiful. But as she she drew nearer to it, she realised it wouldn't be the perfect place to sit and think today. Today, it was pretty busy. Students surrounded the lake, some wading in the water, some swiming and some just sitting chatting at the wates edge. Sandie still badly needed to make friends, but these students looked older anyway, so turning on her heel, Sandie peered around herself, searching for a more quiet place. She spotted it instantly. A little of from the Lake, was a Rosebush she had never really paid much attention to, but she could see now that it also had the beauty the lake did, and there appeared to be a bench buried in amongst the roses.
Sandie bounced over to it, a bright smile on her face as she walked in between the flowers, there sweet smell filling her nostrels.
She soon came to the bench she had spotted and plopped herseld down onto it, bringing on of her legs up under her and letting the other dangle.
She had considered a few options so far. One of them was to go as Piglet, a disney character she had always loved as a young child and still did. She was sure that if she wrote to her mum, she would be able to make the head of the costume for her and send her out materials to make the body herself. The other was to go as a Punk Fairy. She would wear a black tutu and dye bright pink stripes in her hair, rip up an old black tank top and a pair of bright pink leggings. She would also need a pair of fluffy black wings for that costume, and some jewlery and alot of black make-up. Or maybe she could go as an Army girl. She thought they all sounded rather fun, but couldn't for the life of her decide on one. It would be great if she had a friend or two to help her pick, but sadly she didn't. She didn't think much about this but, she'd always been an independant girl and she was sure she would make friends with time.
