Yellow Rose for @Enoch Goldewyn

Out of all the kids in their year, Milo supposed he could do worse than having to deliver to Enoch. The guy was kind of quiet and weird but at least he also played Quidditch so he couldn't be all bad, Milo supposed. Add to that it was a lot easier to find him when Milo could just catch Enoch before their History of Magic class and Milo was in a pretty good mood as he flagged Enoch down in the corridor.

"Hey, nice game the other day, glad to see Slytherin doesn't totally suck this year," he said casually, holding up his rose bucket to wave away why he'd suddenly struck up the conversation with the other boy. "Looks like someone likes you. Ish," he said, grabbing the yellow rose with Enoch's rose and holding it out to him.

Enoch wanted this day to be over, he didn't want to bother with classes, he didn't want to get another rose, or listen to another conversation about roses, but he'd dragged himself out of the dorm and to history and immediately regretted it as Milo approached with a rose. "I don't want it," he said. Just as he had when Teddy had delivered him a rose. That rose had been nice in the end, but he still did not want a rose.

Milo had to admit he'd gotten a decent range of reactions to roses but he wasn't expecting Enoch to outright refuse one, blinking for a moment as he processed. "What? Why not? I don't want it either," he said, holding out the rose a bit more instantly. Marnie would kill him if he showed up with an undelivered rose, though he guessed he could always just toss it. "Don't you at least wanna know what the note says?" He pressed.

Enoch shrugged, "Throw it away then, I don't care," he replied, still not taking the rose from the boy, really not wanting to bother with it. "No, I don't," he added. "You can read it, I really don't care," he told him.
