Claire knew that it was about time for her to get out of Beauxbatons, even for a day. This time, she had decided that she wanted to head to Obsidian Harbour. She hadn't been here in a while, it was where she had got her wand from, and pretty much the rest of her school stuff. The only thing that she was disappointed about was that she hadn't had the chance to attend HNZ, it had been something she wanted to do for a while now. She had applied to become a transfer student there at the beginning of this year, but she hadn't been accepted, sadly. Claire sighed, and took a seat in the harbour on a small chair. It was peaceful out here, something that she enjoyed. It would be nice if there was somebody out here with me. Claire thought, wishing this would come true.

Rubie Lefevre may be a Beauxbatons Third Year, and someone that was wanting to be Prefect when she was older so that she could earn her place in the school, she was still worried constantly over her big brother that she was practically raising. She did not even know how she came here to New Zealand, but it was something else. The weather was so much warmer than what she was used to. The pureblood witch breathed in the air, and she smiled lightly, her glacier features melting for a moment. She carried some books with her so that she could study, and she almost glided from the store with grace that only her family held with their steps. One might think that she was a stuck up third year, but truth be told, she kind of was. She had every reason to be. She had it all really. She was ready to really see what everyone loved about the Lefevre family, though she was too young to really understand much. All she knew that Danielle was their boss, and everyone had to talk to her before doing anything. What if Rubie wanted to get married and have children one day? Would Danielle have to approve first?

A thought haunted her. The Lefevre curse in women was the infertility gene. Having a baby could very well be the end of the female line. She bit her lip and placed her small, elegant hand on her stomach for a moment, before she shook her head and sighed. She could never think about becoming a mother this young in her years. She was just fourteen. She flipped her brown hair over her shoulder, and she could feel the gust of wind. She glanced over at the school that most attended that came around here to visit. She snorted and she thought callously, Who would want to attend school without someone serenading us while we eat? Rubie almost stuck her nose up in the air but that would not be really ladylike. She walked along the cobblestone, when her bright blue eyes caught the figure of another girl that looked like she attended Beauxbatons. Rubie approached her with a bold appearance and she murmured, "Don't you attend Beauxbatons too?" Rubie did not care if she was older or younger than her. Rubie would talk to anyone when she felt like it at least.

Claire saw somebody walk up to her, and smiled at this. Maybe this would actually turn out to be an interesting day after all? Claire smiled at her, as she asked if she went to Beauxbatons. "Yeah, I go here. I don't remember seeing you around here before, though. I could just be unsociable though." Claire said, not knowing which one was likely to have happened. She wasn't sure whether or not she had been having one of her shy moments every time she had been around this girl, unknowingly around her that is, but could Claire really have been that blind? She didn't think so. She felt bad now, what would this girl think? She didn't want to think about these things, but she did anyway. How strange was that. Oh well. "I'm Claire, and you are?" She asked.

Rubie Lefevre just stared down at the girl that had purple orbs. Her own were a bright, electrifying blue. They were just eerie to look into in the dark, but it was not dark now at least. Rubie shrugged lightly when the girl replied that she might be unsocial, which was what Rubie was and she rarely paid attention to anyone really. She did what she wanted, made great grades and was fighting to be Prefect. Rubie heard what the girl's name was, Rubie held her tongue to ask her what her last name was as well, but she did not. Instead, she introduced herself, her French accent extremely heavy, "Rubie Lefevre is my name." Her tone was pleasant but it was icy as well, but that was just how she was when she did not realize it and soften the iciness of her voice. "I am not very sociable either, but that is because not many are worth talking to. What brings you out here, so far from home?" Rubie was here shopping but she did not buy anything yet. She heard that some things were just better here but she had been mistaken. She was waiting for someone to apparate her out of here now. She could fly, but she needed an adult or else she would up in China or somewhere awkward.
