Arabella entered the Student Lounge with books in hand. She felt like her arms were going fall off her shoulders. She was so annoyed that she felt she was going to slip into another fowl mood, but she didn't. She didn't want to scare off her new friend. She felt odd calling that little Hufflepuff her friend. A Slytherin and a Hufflepuff? It was odd, especially for one of her personality. She liked her though. And She liked her back. Arabella picked out an empty table to sit with her friend and dumped the books onto its surface. She sat down and patted the seat next to her, "You coming?"

Marietta watched as Arabella searched for a table to sit at. The Student Lounge was absolutely crowded with Students studying for tomorrow. Some students weren't. They were either talking to friends or... jumping on tables and throwing books? These students are weird. She heard Arabella call for her and spotted her seated at an empty table. She slid the books down on the table gently and took a seat next to her new found friend. She had so many questions to ask the Slytherin. She started with something a little more simple. "How do you like you House? I bet it's just as you wanted." Marietta loved hers. Friendly faces and a cozy common room. What more could she ask for.

Her House? Her House wasn't what she thought to be honest. The students in Slytherin were all very different from one another, and some acted as if they belonged in other Houses. The Head of their House, Professor Styx, made her somewhat uncomfortable. He reminded her too much of her father. "Slytherin is definitely the House I wanted, but not what I expected. My mama and papa were Slytherin students, so I expected students like them, but some students are just... well, not," she explained. "What about you? Hufflepuff up to your expectations?"

"Totally! Everyone is so friendly and interesting, and the Common Room is so cozy and... it's just really great." She tried to calm herself. She's befriended her dorm mates. Met the her lovely Head Mistress, Professor Kingston. Tomorrow will then be her first class in Hogwarts, 1st year History of Magic. She was pretty sure that she was going to have it with Arabella. "Hey, um, tomorrow is the History of Magic class. Do you think we could meet up there after today?" She had to get back to her Dorm before it gets too late. "Sorry, it's just that I really need to study and then return these books after and I don't want to end up an idiot in class."

"Hey, don't worry about it. We can totally meet up there. I'll make sure to save you a seat next to me." She gave her a little wink as she left the lounge. She could have helped Marietta study, but She was tired, and so was Merlin. She also needed a cage for him, but she can worry about that later. She totally forgot he was coiled around her her arm, hidden by her Slytherin cloak's sleeve. "Don't worry, buddy. I'll find you a nice hiding spot for tomorrow, so the girls won't scare you."
