7th November was a date that Willow Cullen had heard a lot over the last year. It seemed inconspicuous, but it happened to be the day after the November full moon of the previous year, which meant it was the day that her life had officially changed. of course, it had probably actually changed a couple of weeks later. but that wasn't what healers counted. So much had changed in that time. she had been a different person, in her twenties, young, single, free, working her dream job and now she felt so much more than a year older she was thirty, a mum to a beautiful son and she had a boyfriend who loved her and would do anything she asked who she now lived with, her old flat rented out. she knew how lucky she was and how much things had changed.
today, she was visiting Obsidian Harbour. Acer had had a two-month check up and she now needed to pick up some potion supplies. but first she wandered along the waterfront glad for some time out of the house. and enjoying the nice late spring weather. and stopped at a bench. Taking a seat. Acer had been grizzly since the appointment and was now crying she didnt want to go into the shops with him screaming. "hey there Ace. you are doing well. I know it's a big day," she soothed, unfastening him from the wrap and taking him into her arms. She gave him a sniff and was glad that the crying did not necessitate a change. "Are you hungry?" she asked, maneuvering him and her clothing in a well-practised shuffle so that he could get some food while she looked out over the water.
