Milo was more than unimpressed with Santiago already throwing off his groove so early into practice. How was he supposed to try about any new moves or strategies if he kept hucking bludgers at him. Thankfully he seemed to move onto bothering Aroha for now so Milo could catch his breath and...
Milo figured they had to be getting close to the end of practice, putting on another burst of speed. He needed to nab the snitch before Teddy or Fraser blew the whistle.
Milo had let himself get distracted by the change up with the keepers, cursing himself when he realized what a headstart Aroha had on him. He tucked close to his broom, trying to get back into the chase and let out a little yip of success when Aroha took a bludger, hoping he could capitalize on...
Milo swore under his breath as Aroha picked up speed and confidence, he needed to get his head in the game if he was going to prove he was top seeker here.
Milo paused for a moment to get a read on the pitch, watching the other players closely and quietly hoping he might spot some snitch movement without trying.

Milo was still dying the beaters when he saw Aroha shoot forward, realizing too late he couldn’t close the gap before she got there. She’d seen it first and got to it first. “Good catch,” he said reluctantly. “Let’s see you do it again though,” he challenged. Rāwhiti had been such a mess to play...
Milo let out an offended noise when he saw the flurry of movement that indicated a bludger headed his way. Thankfully he was able to keep clear, feeling vindicated as it knocked into Aroha this time.
Milo was checking the pitch as best he could but had to jump into action sight unseen when he saw Aroha on the move. He'd just have to hope he caught sight of whatever she did on the way.
Milo checked over his shoulder when Aroha slowed, grinning in triumph as he turned to continue tailing the snitch. His face quickly fell when he realized it must have shot away while he was gloating. Dang hubris, he thought sourly.
Milo steadied his broom, wedging himself up against Aroha as they were neck and neck, though the way the snitch was moving, he was worried he was going to lose sight of it if he wasn't careful.
