That game had been rough. Dion had the bruises to prove it (and had put a couple on the opposition in turn). He supposed he should mostly be glad that the bludgers had been hitting him, and not Nabi, but fat lot of good that did when the madwoman Beauxbatons captain had caught the snitch anyway...
Dion could, though, and he was finally able to hit @Niniane Archambeau with a solid hit. He'd almost have felt bad, except, you know, the whole wanting to win thing.
Dion groaned as a second bludger hit him from the Beauxbatons beater. Was he supposed to call her, or something? He rubbed his arm, trying to soothe it a little.
Dion almost felt bad about trying to hit bludgers at a small girl - the same way he kind of felt bad whenever he targeted Nabi in training - but less bad when they didn't connect.
Despite Dion's aching arm, he saw the perfect shot and managed to hit @Vincent Poe with a bludger. He looked over at Flick and gave her a thumbs-up.

Dion waved off the bludger hit - it hurt, but was probably justified as revenge, though it didn't exactly help his aim as he tried to hit the Beauxbatons chaser again.
Dion tried to hit another bludger at the seeker, but he dodged and it went straight to @Ava Hastings . He swore under his breath. First striking out and then hitting her with a bludger. Quidditch sucked, actually.
Dion knew this was it - hopefully they'd win today, but if not, at least he could say Quidditch had been good fun. He was pretty relaxed as he sauntered up to the others. Quietly hoping he could maybe catch the eye of some cute French girls - but mostly just looking forward to the chance to let...
