Emmett isn't one of my employees, he's a co-owner of the shop. He may have been a little hasty but it seems to me that he had no trouble helping you find a wand. This time of year our staff are extremely busy, and while we do try our best to give every customer a pleasant experience we do need to move quickly, which means there often isn't time for friendly chitchat.
I'm sorry that Emmett's behaviour came across as rude and I'll have a word with him about that, but this time of year we need to focus on making sales as quickly as possible, and that's what he was trying to do.
Thanky so much for responding and i understand that.
But costomers need be nice they first time when they walk and by wand. Becouse can started rumors about shop that there work not nice people. I am right? But realy thanky and i apriciate for talk
All Ollivanders staff do our best to be polite and welcoming to customers, which is exactly what Emmett did - he asked for your measurements so that he could start finding the right wand for you as quickly as possible. As I said before, during this time of year we need to work fast, and Emmett made a point of trying to find the right wand for you as fast as he could.
He only encouraged you to find another shop once you told him you were uncomfortable with the service at Ollivanders. I'm sorry to hear that you felt your experience with us was a negative one, but as I have said several times, our staff need to work fast at this time of year, and while he was focused on efficiency, Emmett was never actively rude to you.
Can you please explain to me what he said that you thought was rude? Before the comment about finding another shop, as he only said that in response to you saying you thought he was rude.
