First Years Lesson Six [Dueling Chamber]

"Good afternoon everyone!" she addressed the class as they gathered around her in the chamber. "If you haven't had the chance to explore this room yet in your own time, welcome to the dueling chamber!" There would be some that had already explored this place, but no doubt plenty who'd never stepped in the room until today. "You're always welcome to come in here to practice your wand work. These are the same dummies you'll find in our classroom," she told the group. They could practice in her classroom too but sometimes they may not have wanted to be around a professor. "If you want to duel however, you'll need to make sure you have professor supervision. You also might want to join the Student Defense Association if you're interested in taking part in the dueling tournament next year,"

Reyna walked into the dueling chamber and glanced about at the others in the room. She rolled her eyes at the fact they had to practice on dummies and couldn't just practice on one another, but she figured it had to be like that. She found one of the dummies and began working away, doing the spell practice much more seriously that she'd do any other type of practice. Working until the professor dismissed them.

Cassian walked into the duelling chamber for the final Defence against the Dark Arts lesson of the semester and listened to Professor Adelia show them the training dummies that they were free to use to practice on. The lesson itself was pretty boring as they didn’t learn anything or talk about anything. Professor Adelia was just showing them the room. He took out his wand and practised until the lesson was over and he left the chamber.
