Kirby grinned when the Hufflepuff called her cute, though she was probably just returning the compliment. Kirby didn't mind though, she'd worked with less. It was honestly rather adorable and she could tell the other girl was a little flustered by it, which meant she was probably caught off guard, Kirby didn't mind that, people caught off guard were easier to work with, right? She nods as she mentioned that she was pretty good, and Kirby's fingers tightened on her broom as she leaned in a little closer. "I hope you are, and I hope she is, because I'm the best Seeker out of everyone." She had proved that already with Ilvermorny, beating out the other seeker who'd had more experience, and she would prove it again against Hogwarts, this was who she was, and no one was going to take that from her. "Don't be shocked if I blow right past you though, I can't let something like a cute girl distract me from my goal of being the best Seeker in the world, right?" There had always been a competitive streak in Kirby, but it had only grown more pronounced as the years had gone on, especially against Ocarina, she had to be the best. She stepped back a little when she mentioned Elio wasn't that elusive, well, Kirby begged to differ. "He definitely is, ask him to meet you anywhere, guarantee he'll forget. You kinda have to drag him." But was that his fault or hers? She could never be sure.
@Bailey Walden-Cade

Bailey blushed as Kirby referred to her as cute, and it annoyed her a little how much the girl’s words affected her. She was the competition, after all; she needed to beat her, not whatever this was. “I’m sure you’re good, but being a seeker is in my blood, I hope I get the chance to show you how good I am,” Her words felt a lot more like teasing than she intended. In all likelihood, Bailey wouldn’t take the field, and they’d never find out who the better seeker was between them. But a small part of her wanted Kirby to beat Hufflepuff in their match, to ignite something.

“Funny, I never have a problem finding him, though I have done my fair share of dragging him places,”
