Open after Marga posts with Angelo

Ugh, potions was such a boring class. Logan had liked the idea of it in theory, as it was a more practical class than History of Magic or whatever, but in reality it was still just a boring class. He left the classroom in a bit of a bad mood, hands shoved in his pockets as he let his classmates move past him before starting to head in the direction of the Great Hall. He wasn't really paying attention for a while, lost in his own thoughts, until he realized he was sort of walking next to one of his classmates. "Hey, Angelo." He said, nodding in greeting. "What's up?" He didn't know the Hufflepuff that well, though he knew he said some weird stuff sometimes. Logan wouldn't like, laugh in his face about it, but he'd definitely laughed a bit behind his back whenever the boy had some odd comments in class. He didn't seem like a bad guy, though. Maybe a bit naive? Logan realized it wouldn't be all that difficult to trick him, and realized he could have some fun. "The dungeons are pretty creepy, huh? You guys are lucky you don't have to sleep here. Especially with what's been creeping around here in the dark lately." He had no idea what he would say was creeping around, but he'd think of something fun. Would a basilisk be too much? Not even this guy would believe that, probably.

Angelo was trying his best to be on his best behavior. He still hadn't decided if he should ask Professor Carter for help in explaining his mum, or do what Aaron does and just get A's in all his classes. It seemed to work well enough for the Ravenclaw considering his mum thinks he's getting good grades while Angelo's mum thinks he's on the verge of getting kicked out of school and failing in life. He'd just walked out of Potions class still contemplating the pros and cons of getting high grades and his mum thinking he's failing or getting Acceptable grades and his mum thinking he's acing his classes, when one of his classmates called his name. He looked around as if there was another Angelo in his class but there really wasn't anyone? "Hi?" he said unsurely as he pointed at himself because he wasn't sure why this cool guy was talking to him. They'd never really exchanged words before and not a lot of people usually talk to Angelo and he kinda thought Logan was one of those cool guys so why the Slytherin was talking to him was definitely a mystery. "Uhhhhh... Nothing I think? The ceiling?" Smooth Angelo. Smooth. Way to establish yourself as not a total dork. Nerd. Weirdo. Whatever. The ceiling. Really?

Angelo did blink though when the other boy started to talk about how lucky he was that he didn't have to stay in the basement. He didn't know about lucky considering he had to climb like what five-six floors everyday at least twice in one day. But he did feel a shiver run down his spine at Logan's words. "Creeping... down... here?" he asked unsurely. Angelo grew up in a large city. But it was a bit of an old building. It wasn't old old, but old enough to at least have some stories. Sometimes when his mum would arrive home late from work, he preferred to keep the lights on just in case. And he didn't like staying out in the hallway and waiting for the elevator at night either. This castle was a whole different level of old. It even had ghosts! Actual ghosts! Nothing like what's been portrayed in the movies since they seemed... friendly enough. But what if there was one down here that wasn't? "Is it mumu?" he asked in a whisper looking left and right and realizing he probably shouldn't. What if it suddenly showed up?!

Logan gave a little smile as Angelo returned his greeting with a joke. It wasn't bad, but he did sound a bit unsure about it which kind of ruined the effect. His smile widened a little as the boy completely fell for his joke. This was easy. He wondered if he should be tricking Hufflepuffs more often, it was funny. He had no idea what a mumu was, but he did realize that he didn't need to be specific about what was down here. The kid would fill something in himself, and that was probably scarier than anything Logan could come up with. He shrugged, making a show of looking behind him over his shoulder. "I dunno what that is, but I don't really know anyway. I've just heard stories of kids seeing shadows and hearing weird noises, even rumors of someone disappearing." He said with a grimace. "But that's probably not true, she probably transferred or something." He gave an unconvincing shrug. "I try not to be out here in the evenings, that's all."
