William had been craving milkshakes since Eury mentioned them during the dance so once the night was starting to wrap up rather than start heading back to their respective common rooms he had grabbed Eury’s hand and pulled her in the direction of the kitchens. She might not have really been disappointed that there had been no milkshakes at the dance, but he was still going to make sure she got one before the night was over. “I think Dak should still be in the kitchens, he should be able to help us make some milkshakes,”

Eurydice had been very confused when William had taken her the opposite way of the route they usually take when they would return to their Common Rooms after the dances. Walking back from the dances were nice, mostly because she would still have those few minutes of giggling and laughing and chatting with William while they rehashed the night, mostly because they could go the same way and part on the Fourth Floor where her Common Room was while he still had to go up a few more to his Common Room. Tonight however, they seemed to be going down rather than up, and she hadn't really said anything but she had definitely given him when he'd taken her hand and pulled her along. She did smile brightly at his idea though. She hadn't been able to see her friend today despite having sent him a rose. The day had been long and eventful, and she couldn't deny that having a milkshake felt like it would make everything better and that it was such a perfect way to cap the night. "Making milkshakes are we? Do you even know how to make milkshakes William?" she teased but held his hand tighter as they walked their way to the Kitchens. Surely they still had time before curfew anyway.

Bringing Eury to the kitchens had the added bonus of reuniting her with Dakrey. He didn’t fully understand the friendship between his…friend who happens to be a girl and his house elf but spending time with him made Eury happy and that was all he cared about. “Uhm, no, I don’t honestly I’m really hoping Dak does or this whole thing will be a disaster,” He smiled awkwardly at his date as he pulled up to the entrance to the kitchens and pushed through.

Eury would not have been able to hold in the laugh that burst from her when William admitted that he, in fact, did not know how to make milkshakes. It was something she expected but it didn't make it less funnier. "I have faith in Mr. Dak," she said in between fits of giggles. Besides, she was pretty sure it just needed... milk? And strawberries? Then again, she wasn't exactly a kitchen expert. "Thank you," she said as she came up beside him just as they arrived in the kitchens, standing on her tiptoes to press a kiss on his cheek before following him inside and greeting and waving at the house elves as soon as she came in. "Is Mr. Dak around?" she asked since she wasn't sure if he'd be doing chores at this hour, she never exactly had been here this late until now.

Hilariously, Eury seemed to know his house elf better than he did so if she had faith in him he would probably be able to follow through. “Even if he doesn’t how hard could it be?” He was probably just thinking of milk and some kind of mixer and there was probably more to it. “Uhm, Dakrey?” He called, hoping to get the house elf’s attention wherever he was.

At the sound of his name Dakrey appeared in front of William and Eurydice having dropped what he had been doing. He and the other house elves were still in the process of clearing up after the valentines ball but he would always answer a call from his family. "Master William, Miss Eury, what a nice surprise,"

Eury nodded at William's question. She wasn't sure why he was so skeptical, Mr. Dak was awesome in the kitchen. "Well he helped Jonah bake cupcakes last time. And he helped me bake cookies," she told him right before he called for the house elf himself which made Eury grin happily when she caught sight of her friend. "Happy Valentine's Day Mr. Dak!" she greeted. She actually wondered if he'd been able to get her rose but perhaps she could ask him on a different day. It was nice enough that she got to greet him in person today. "William dragged us here for some milkshakes," she explained as she bumped her hip with William's as she looked at him fondly and squeezed his hand still in hers before turning her attention back to Mr. Dak. "We hope you're not too busy and hope you got some time to help us?"
