Eden was getting frustrated with how many times she had to pull up the sleeves of her white blouse so that it wouldn't get covered in glue. They just would not stay up. She knew that it wasn't the end of the world, because next time she wanted to wear this outfit it would be clean again, but she didn't want to spend the way walking around with sticky sleeves if she could avoid it. Spread out on the floor and lying on her stomach, the first year's tongue was stuck out in concentration as she lined up some pictures in her scrapbook. She wasn't doing anything specific, but just letting her see where the art would take her. Besides, even if she made the biggest mess in the world, mommy was still pleased with what she'd done. She didn't really have to try to make it special because she knew it always would be.

Aelin was stomping her way around thinking of things to do when she spotted her best friend laid across the floor in concentration it seemed. Eden also seemed to be rather frustrated with her sleeves. "Here," the four-year-old said as she plopped to sit down next to her friend. Taking the hair ties off of her neatly braided hair she used them to try and tie the sleeves tighter so they wouldn't be in the way. "What are you making?" She asked focusing her eyes on whatever the blonde had been up to.

Eden was like a rag doll as Aelin took her arms while she was sticking and gluing, and started to tie something around her wrists. It was annoying but it at least seemed to keep them from getting in the way. "I'm just making it pretty," the girl wasn't sure if it was pretty, but individually the stickers and bits of fabric especially looked nice, and she didn't think her classmates would even notice a bit of her dress near the bottom was now missing. Eden reached over to grab a tube of glitter, using her tiny thumbs to try and pry off the lid, but her lack of strength was getting the better of her. "What are you doing?"

Aelin was glad to see she had helped at least a tiny bit with the sleeve issue looking from her friend to the piece she had made. "I think it looks very pretty," the 4-year-old admitted, she doubted she herself could have made anything that nice. Watching Eden struggle she offered to take the tube and then used her teeth to open the lid, something her father always told her not to do but it worked so well she could not understand why not. "I don't know? Watching what you are doing?" She offered more as a question, she had nothing better to do anyways. She had already been told not to spread any paint on her clothes and use herself to paint the walls so it wasn't like they'd let her use the paints for a bit now.
