Open Rules are meant to be broken *open after Sapphire

Jemma Potter had never had much respect for the rules, and that only grew worse the older she got. Lucky for her, Jacob had seemed all too willing to go along with her bad ideas, especially this year. So, when Jemma had decided to come to an out of bounds place like the Cliffs, she had intended to take Jake with her. But, despite her searching efforts, Jemma couldn't seemed to find him and assumed he was off kissing Onyx again, so she headed down to the cliffs alone.

Summer had arrived in New Zealand, and Jemma was glad. She loved the outdoors, but she wasn't a big fan of the cold weather. Today, though, was the perfect day for tree climbing. There were trees by the cliffs that looked out over the cliffs. The view was spectacular if you got high enough in the tree.

Sapphire was bored. And being bored usually meant one thing for the third year- mischief. She had set out to look for her twin. Onyx didn't seem to be anywhere convenient. Neither was Jacob. She pouted. Those two were probably off smooching again. And Jacob had teased her about kissing Merv. Boys were so annoying sometimes. After a bit of wondering, she found herself out by the cliffs. In three years she hadn't made it out here before.

She paused as she drew near. There was someone already there. Sapphire was tempted to turn and go back the way she'd come. That was until she recognized the girl. Readjusting her bag on her shoulder, Sapphire walked over. "Hey, Jemma innit?" She inquired curiously. Jacob talked about her a lot. From what she'd heard, the girl was decent, at least.

Jemma was surprised to hear someone call her name. She turned from her tree hunt to see a girl that she somewhat recognized from classes. Her green eyes glanced over the Slytherin girl, remembering that she was friends with Jake. He had mentioned her a few times in connection with Onyx. "Yeah, it is, and you're Sapphire." she said, matter-of-factly. "I couldn't find Jake to come climb these trees with me. I'm assuming he's with your brother if you are looking for one of them." she said with a smile at the girl.

Sapphire offered a lop-sided grin. "I am," She confirmed both parts of Jemma's statement. "Or I suppose I was. I can't seem to get an edge in with either of them this week." She smirked a bit. "I know his majesty probably already told you he and my brother are...?" She trailed off as she tried to think of the right word. What were they? Other than smooching all the time? She rubbed the back of her neck. Maybe Jemma had a better word for it.
