TEAM BLUE - 110 POINTS

Ned swept in to catch the quaffle as Ten performed a sacrifice. Well, the game was nearly over - nobody was getting knocked out now. Arcing wide at the hoops, Ned threw the quaffle, scoring another easy goal. This was ridiculously tense for a family game. If they...

Ned was starting to get a bit dizzy with all the glowing balls flying around everywhere. She rubbed her eyes as she flew after Ten. She was going to sleep well after this, even on the lumpy ground.

Eluned nodded to Ten, then went in for the tackle - but Rion was too quick. Ugh - maybe they'd underestimated her. They had to get that quaffle back; the game was nearly over!!

Eluned and Ten were a well-oiled machine. Or so Ned thought. She was sure Rudolf wouldn't expect them to try the exact same fake-out tactic twice in a row. Alas, he was paying attention this time, and blocked the quaffle easily.

Meanwhile, Ned had grabbed the quaffle and was already off down the pitch with it tucked safely in her armpit. Honestly, this game was theirs. Two more goals, or one more snitch, and it was all over for Team Red.

Ned flew closely alongside Ten, acting as her meatshield as they approached the hoops. She'd have taken a real bludger for her too, probably. OK, maybe not. But she liked to think she'd think about it for a moment before it hit her.

Ned was nearly at the hoops. As she approached, she tossed the quaffle to Ten; the ball of light arced cleanly across the air toward her. Seriously good at this. Why had she never considered the team?

Team Red weren't getting away with this. Ned caught the quaffle as it dropped back into play, nodding to Ten and zooming toward Rudolf's hoops. Maybe she should sign up for the school team next year. She was pretty good at this.

Eluned was right on Rion's tail. Right as the Ravenclaw raised her arm to pass the quaffle, Ned curved around her and snatched it. Maybe she should have gone a bit easier on her. She looked like she might be about to cry. It was only a game, right?

Ned caught the quaffle and, leaning forward on her broom, zipped up to the hoops. A bludger whooshed by overhead, but she didn't even have to duck to avoid it. She tossed the quaffle and - scored! This was going to be so easy.

Ned and Ten didn't need words to communicate; they had a language of their own, mostly consisting of nods and eyebrow wiggles. She darted after the redhead and flew alongside her, ready to accept a pass if needed.
Quidditch? Yeah, Ned was in. This camping trip desperately needed something to liven it up. As cool as the light display had been, it had only lasted twenty minutes or so. The rest of the trip had consisted of sitting around with Ten and Rion, trying to find ways to entertain themselves in the...
The best part about the sorting ceremony wasn't the feast that followed - it was winning all of Amortentia's pocket change. As the first student, Ares Zephyr, stepped up to the sorting stool, Eluned stacked two knuts on the table. "Gryffindor," she said. There was something about the walk. She...
Ned nodded. Now that she knew Ten wasn’t mad at her, she was going to go down to the greenhouse every single day. Maybe she’d even try her hand at gardening too. She’d never had Ten’s natural affinity for it, but she was sure she could make herself useful watering flowers or digging holes...
When had Felix gotten so mature? Eluned didn’t like it. Mind you, he’d always been the sensible one. That was why she liked to pick on him so much. Mervyn had given her a stern talking to about that, too, but it hadn’t stopped her; making Felix miserable made her feel better.
She was a...
