Apollo Vasilakis felt that today was one of the good days. They came few and far between, but low and behold, he was having one. It was a miracle! Apollo had gotten a few practice hours in today and he was feeling it on his shoulders. Hitting bludgers really required a certain amount of strength, to and away from players. Of course, each time he hit someone, he apologized immediately. But it was all part of the game! Apollo decided to find a bench on Obsidian Harbor and relax to overlook the shops. With school back in session, Apollo noticed how quickly things died down. Maybe that was why he was in a better mood. Less people to deal with. Apollo was a people person when he was in a better mood, but often, he was not. Now, he felt that he could talk to anyone that approached him, honestly.

He brushed his hand through his red-dyed hair and let out a sigh. Yes, this was going to be a good day, whether he wanted to do it or not. He would force it if he had to, which was why he was staring up at the clouds. They were a nice distraction.

Nikko didn't usually have more than one day off in a row between practice and games, and having to travel for some games. But somehow he had ended up with a few days off and since Aubrey was busy he figure it was probably a good time to get away and maybe pick her up something special while he was out. Obsidian Harbour was becoming more and more familiar to him as he got used to living in New Zealand full time, and was no longer the place he went to once a year for school supplies. The weather was good and he paused by the water to take it all in. For a moment he was homesick and would have to call his parents later, the sound of waves usually had that effect on him. He was about to get back to his shopping when he spotted some familiar red hair. Familiar probably wasn't the right word, but he had gone to a Kia's game recently and took notice of their beater's bright hair. Tentatively he took a few steps closer. "Sorry to bother you, but are you on the Kaikōura Keas?" he asked, to make sure.

So sorry this reply took forever!

Apollo flinched when he heard a voice, but he couldn't help it. His eyes were closed, and he was listening to the noises of the town. How did he not catch the footsteps approaching him? That was embarrassing as a beater who should be more alert of his surroundings. He leaned his head forward to see who it was that approached him. "Uh, yeah. I am Apollo Vasilakis, and one of the beaters." Apollo smiled warmly at the lad and outstretched his hand for a handshake to be friendly. After all, Apollo was a friendly person and wouldn't turn down someone for just walking up to him. He was just glad it wasn't a couple of people that he was actively avoid. "Since you know me already, what's your name so that I can address you properly?" Apollo thought that he might have seen him from somewhere but could not place it...
