Jean had peeked at the message as he'd made the long trek upstairs, and he couldn't wait to deliver this one. He was even pretty sure he'd figured out the person who had sent the note, even though they'd used their first name only. Knocking on the professor's office door, Jean waited with a smirk on his face to make this delivery. He had dropped Astronomy ages ago, so he didn't even really know which of the new professors was Professor Orbon, but he'd find out in a second.

Eduardo was feeling a bit groggy today but he, as always, held his office hours and waited hopefully for students to come to ask questions of him whether or not they were actually in his class. Professor Orbon always had sweet treats available for his students and the man hoped that this made them feel more welcome than they already might have. After having cleaned his office out just in time for the holidays his office was just a bit more organized than it usually was but he was only two months into the second semester. The mess would accumulate faster than he could keep track of it, which made him feel lucky to know his very organized roommate wasn't also a colleague. The thought gave him a small roll of his eyes because he felt it was an organized mess, just enough so he knew where everything truly was. It was at this time he heard a knock at his door so the man smiled and stood up straight to open it. "Ah hello," he said to the boy he knew to be the head boy. He must have been a very hard working, responsible young man. If this were the case Eduardo would forgive him for not enrolling in Astronomy NEWT level classes. "Come, take a seat," Eduardo suggested as he offered a tray with chocolate and vanilla biscuits on it for the boy to eat if he was so inclined. While Eduardo watched the Head Boy take a seat, he too sat as well and smiled curiously at him.

"Hello Professor Orbon" the teenager said as he strolled into the room and took the seat and biscuit he was offered. As usual around any professor, Jean was on his best behavior. He'd been running around most of the day, so a break was well due for him and he was more than happy to accept. "Thanks. Cool office" he stated as he looked around, taking a bite. "I've got a rose delivery for you, professor" he stated, reaching for the yellow flower and note in the bucket. He held out the flower first and then reluctantly the note. "Here you go" he smiled at the man.
Edwin,

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
The stars are you,
as f*ck

Love,
Jon.

Eduardo smiled as a thank you to young Mr. Snow's comment about his office. It was certainly appreciated although he hadn't much choice in the decoration but he wouldn't change it either way because it was so organized around the stars that there was no need for him to want anything else. "Oh well. Thank you." He smiled and took the rose and the note. He read it and while it was funny he had to hide his smile because he was sure the boy had read it and said, "My apologies for the language in this. It's not appropriate." His cheeks were turning red in embarrassment from the situation because it was exactly that, embarrassing.

Jean watched the professor read his note as he finished up his cookie. He was glad for something to do so that he didn't just bust out laughing, something he wanted to do especially when he saw the professor's cheeks redden. "No idea what you're talking about, sir" Jean denied, the smirk on his face and the amusement in his voice likely making it evident that he was lying. Jean had already finished his cookie, and there wasn't really a reason to stay on. He'd delivered the rose. Standing up, Jean brushed the crumbs from his hands onto his pants. "Have a good day, Professor Orbon" Jean stated, his voice still full of amusement.
