It still seemed surreal that Amethyst made it through the birth safely. How his healer brother helped along with the delivery of Killian’s son, and Kaelan’s nephew. He sent news out to Kieran over the new addition to the family. They gave the newborn the name Kirill. Killian knew better than to bring the kid out within the first few months of the son’s life, and he would obey that. Plus, Amethyst was still recovering and would be on leave for a time. Killian had a list of things to get so that Amethyst would be comfortable and have the rest she deserved. He took her the supplies, and did some meal prep for the week so that he could head back to the school.
The part-giant rubbed his face as he walked out to Obsidian Harbor so that he could head out to the school. He just needed a few supplies to get from the school. He had the professor robes hauled over his shoulder. He eventually had a small, in his hand, bag of parchment, ink, quills, and a few other items that he felt that he would need. Once he had adequate sleep, he would probably be in a better mood. A first time father and all, and he still was not entirely ready. With Kaelan helping out, at least his girlfriend would not be overwhelmed with everything while he was working.
