Character's Name: Elaine Lace Frost. Nicknamed Ella, Ellie or Elle. She is also known as The Ice Princess because of her surname. Some genius gave her the nickname Laella, because the name means elf, which are her initials and Laella is Ella with the first two letters of her middle name, Lace in front of it.
Name Information: Elaine means "shining light" and the name is given to most females of her family, although she doesn't know that reason. Lace means "delicate" and Frost simply means "frost". Her middle and last names have obvious meanings, though her first name doesn't. Ella prefers her first name, Elaine, to Grace, just because the meaning of the name isn't extremely obvious. When Ella was younger, she called herself Persephone because she wanted a more unique name.
Character's Birthdate: Ella was born on May the fouth. Her star sign is Taurus, which is the sign of the bull. Typically, traits of a Taurus are stubbornness, practicality, patience, reliability and persistence. Nessalyn thinks her Western star sign is rubbish and does not believe in horoscopes. She does like the day her birthday falls on, as she can walk around saying "May the fourth be with you.", which is a phrase said to her every birthday.
Age: Eleven. That's like ten plus one.
Hometown: Ella was born in Hamilton, but grew up in Wellington in New Zealand.
Blood Status: Mixed blood. Ella believes that she is muggleborn.

The Appearance

Face: Ella's face is heart-shaped. Her nose is quite small, which does next to nothing to detract away from her eyes, which are her most prominent feature. Her mouth is naturally curved down, but Ella usually has a smile on her face so not many people notice it. Ella's teeth are white and she sometimes has them professionally whitened. Her teeth stick out a tiny bit because Ella used to suck her thumb until she was ten, a secret that she would prefer remained a secret. All of her features would look almost perfect by themselves, but together they do look rather unusual.
Hair: Her hair is white-blonde and has been described as 'weaved moonlight'. It falls just past her shoulders and is often straightened. She has a fringe, though it is usually pinned back.
Eyes: Her eyes are a soft lavender colour, though sometimes go a bit brighter or turn blue. She usually wears a lot of mascara and eyeliner that give her a slightly 'evil doll' look.
Height: Ella is a little on the short side and she has a slim build. Slim would be a bit on an understatement, as a pencil has more curls than miss Ella Frost.
Skin Tone: Ella's skin is pale, simply from lack of sunlight. She isn't exactly an outdoors person, and it shows. Sometimes her skin looks a little blue in some lights and gives her a sickly look.
Style: Usually wears black. Ella like to experiment though, and will wear anything at all.
Other Distinguishing Features: Ella has been called many different things, ranging from beautiful to hideous, from exotic to alien. She has never been thought of as simply ‘pretty’, because she is more stunning than pretty. It really depends on your own perspective of beauty. Ella herself simply describes herself as unique.

Ella likes to wear masks, mainly to hide a scar on her face. She can't remember how she got the scar, but it had been there her whole life. Her masks look extremely lifelike and she often forgets that she is wearing them. The scar goes from her left eye to her cheekbone. She is self conscious about the scar, although it doesn't really look that bad. Apart from the scar and a few faint freckles, Ella's face has virtually no blemishes on it. On her back, between her shoulder blades, there is a honey-coloured splotch about the size of her kneecap.

Personality Overview:
Ella loves meeting new people and is generally a kind and caring person. She does have an inner b1tch though, and can be incredibly selfish. Because she is a Ravenclaw, she thinks that she is smarter than most, and tends to look down on other houses (especially Hufflepuff) She is loyal to her friends, and can be reckless and hot-headed. Ella has a legendary temper and will utterly explode if you annoy her enough. Ella is stubborn, and she is quite closed-minded. She isn't open to new ideas, but that may change as she grows up

Ella is curious. Very curious. She's always asking questions and always solving things in her mind. She is a little anti-social and views other people as things to study. She has a strange personality and it is hard to make her your friend. Ella is one of those people who sits at the back of the class, not because she is dumb (far from it); but because she likes to watch people. Psychiatry interests her. People interest her. The girl has an ego, though she hasn't quite realized this yet.

She believes that first impressions are important. Outwardly, she is a very nice person and seems friendly enough. She is forever watching people and deciding how to act around them. If she likes you, she will be a loyal friend. Ella doesn't like very many people, but she is tolerant of people she doesn't like and tries to be nice regardless. It is very easy to make Ella mad over little things, though she tends to shrug off the bigger issues. She refuses to get close to anyone and isn't good at trusting people.

She sometimes worries that people think she is weird, but it doesn't bother her extremely. Ella lives, eats, sleeps, and breathes the arts. Singing, acting, dancing, writing, drawing, painting, photography... She loves it all. She also loves reading, and can nearly always be found with her nose in a book or taking notes in her notebook. As Ella loves acting, she often finds herself taking on personalities of other people. This can get a tiny bit confusing as Ella doesn't exactly notice that she's acting different. She likes to imitate accents of other people. Ella can do a killer British accent and has fooled people into thinking that she's from Bristol.

Childhood: Ella is adopted. She has no knowledge of this fact, and thinks her adopted parents are her real parents. She disappeared from her biological parents when she was four. She has an elder sister called Angela and an elder brother called Jonathan, though she doesn't remember them. She does have an adoptive sister called Hayley. Her adoptive parents are divorced, and her adoptive mother is re-married. She has two step-sisters called Kate and Alice (also known as Hate and Malice)
Her adoptive parents are muggles, though her real parents are wizards.
