A quiet afternoon happily interrupted.

Silence was required for the fifth year transfer student as he walked through the castle, in search of a student lounge he had over-heard several other students mentioning. With his hopes of understanding more about his future from Divination, Rukevra had to find somewhere quieter than the library to complete the essay he was to write for the latest lesson. A free choice essay on dreams. The young boy couldn't quite place it, but the presence of Professor Grzesik seemed rather similar.

Moving along the sixth floor, Rukevra made his way towards where he thought the Student Lounge was; not fully sure if it was indicated by a sign, or whether the room itself would be empty. After several moments, the young wizard set his eyes upon a door-way; seemingly more active than others along the same corridor. Stepping closer, Rukevra read a sign on the face of the door, 'Student Lounge', and half sighed in relief of not wandering aimlessly along corridors; as he placed his hand upon the door-knob. Whilst opening the door, Rukevra allowed his polite side to take over. If another occupant was already being entertained by the lounge, the young wizard would have to try and not disturb them. Luckily however, the room was occupant free.

With his afternoon set in motion, the ex-Durmstrang closed the door behind him and moved towards the sofa; placing his bag up-on the table as he did so. Seated on the edge of the cushion, Rukevra removed his home-work from his bag and readied his equipment. Writing an essay of his choice seemed new and interesting, but with a blank mind it suddenly became difficult.

Books in hand and writing equipment in her bag Patricia left the library and made her way up to the Student's Lounge, somewhere that she had grown to enjoy studying in. It was usually quiet and sometimes she made good conversation whilst completing her homework assignments, having already meet two new people in the Lounge she thought of the saying 'third time lucky' wondering what it would mean for the Hufflepuff today.

Making her way down the, now, all too familiar sixth floor corridor Patricia began humming an old muggle song that she had grown to love over the previous holiday period. One thing Patricia lover about going home, she normally came back with a load of new songs in her head to hum to herself as she did assignments or found herself alone, it was a way to keep her company. By the quietness of the corridor Patricia expected the songs would come in useful today as not too many people seemed to be occupying it.

Arriving outside the Student's Lounge Patricia entered the room, not bothering to look and see if anyone else was in. Turning to close the door she continued to hum the tune to herself, still unaware of anyone else in the room. Patricia turned her body once again, now facing the Student Lounge and it's occupant. Patricia's featured lit up as she saw who she'd be sharing the Lounge with today, Third time lucky indeed she giggled to herself as she made her way over to where he was sitting. "Don't mind a study buddy do you?" she asked, standing over him, not wanting to sit down in case he wanted to actually study in peace.

Knowing his ink pot was running low, and emptying further each time he had to sit through a lesson, Rukevra un-capped the lid; and attempted to think of the best method of saving the gooey liquid. Sliding a sheet of parchment towards him, as he placed his bag beneath the table, the young wizard proceeded to open his divination text-book and flick to the dreams section. Whilst he began to read, thoughts of his examinations entered his mind. The OLW's would cover all five years of his current education. This wasn't an issue on its own, as he memory could work when it was required too, but the young wizard had only been a student at this school of magic for two thirds of a year. Surely the examinations would reflect the work taught here, and not that of his previous school.

The young boy's throat became slightly dry, as worry began to creep over him. His future would hang in the balance of the schools curriculum. With his mind now completely off starting his essay, Rukevra never noticed the young girl make her way into the room. In fact, it took him several seconds to realise she had stood over him; her words a dull sound against his ears. After sensing the presence of something beside him, Rukevra turned his head up-wards; his mind still focused on his earlier thoughts. "Uhh. Err.". The young Gryffindor had little words to speak.

Giving himself a moment of composure, the young boy took a deep breath; and blinked heavily. As his eyes opened once again, the sight he saw was perfect. "Patricia!". All of his earlier worries faded away. "I.. Yes, please.". The young girl's words now made sense to him. "I need all the help I can get.". Moving to his side, Rukevra slid his work over the table; allowing his friend to join him. "How is everything?". He hadn't seen the girl since they both left for the holidays.

Patricia's eyes lit up with happiness to see her friend again. It was hard to believe that it had been a few months since their last meeting, the night of the Yule Ball, one not to be forgotten for a number of reasons. Although, despite the rocking the rocking start of that night it turned out to be one of the best Yule Balls that the Hufflepuff ever had, so far. A bright grin still on her features she took a seat beside her friend, placing her books on the table. "Thank you." she said sweetly as she made herself comfortable on the seat.

Laughing lightly at his words, "Well I'll try to help out, if I can." she offered. Although she didn't know if she would be much help, one he was doing work that Patricia had yet to learn about, being a fifth year, and plus by the looks of his books he was doing Divination work and Patricia didn't take on that course. Despite that she would try her best to help out her friend, if he needed it.

Looking at her list of homework to do she let out a small sigh at his question. With a light shrug of her shoulders she replied, "Ahh, same old, same old. Classes, homework, more homework." she said laughing slightly. "But I'm not complaining, the holidays were..ok," she said, unsure herself, she did love getting home and seeing her family, but without Joe it was hard, "But it's good to be back and seeing my friends again. How are things with you?" she asked him back.

Making himself comfortable once again, Rukevra felt better now his friend chose to sit with him. His mind had cleared of issues and home-work plans. Hearing Patricia's laughter, the young boy knew it was no longer a possibility he would have his work completed. Her offer to help was appreciated, but likely un-needed. Spotting books of the young girl's own, Rukevra thought it best to avoid causing a distraction too much.

As he listened to his friend, the young boy smiled towards her. Too many essays; notes; and home-work tasks had been given to him over the past three weeks. It felt as if too much pressure had been pushed onto the fifth year students within the school. How could they possibly work on passing examinations if all they where doing was a continuous stream of work. Not a single piece of it helping. The un-surety in Patricia's voice brought the young wizard back into the room. It sounded as if she hadn't had a very good time away either. Rukevra could agree on one point. It was good to be back.

Picking up his text-book, and sliding back on the sofa; Rukevra caught the young girl's question, and responded with un-surety himself. "My holiday's weren't all too good.". The young boy shivered in-side at the memory. "Examinations are coming soon, and I seem to be lost with home-work.". As much as he had promised himself to try, everything was building into a huge pile of confusion. "It's good to see you again.".

With her elbow resting on the table Patricia placed her chin on her hand and looked at her list of homework, she didn't have that much to do and it wouldn't take her long once she put her mind to it. Wanting to get out and do some extra Quidditch practice Patricia knew she should get started into her work now, but she wanted to just sit and talk to her friend. This was, after all, the first time they had seen each other since before the holidays and Patricia missed him. She also knew that with him having OWL exams to revise for and whatnot she might not have a lot of time to talk to him in the up and coming months so she was going to take this time for what it was and leave her homework until later.

Taking Ruki's lead she sat back on the sofa, crossing her legs Indian style and turning her body to face him, much more comfortable that been hunched over a table doing work. Patricia's smiling face soften so much so that a smile was no longer visible, instead a frown took its place, "I'm sorry to hear that." she said softly, placing her hand on his and giving it a light squeeze, she felt sorry for him but she knew what it was like, maybe not to his extent but she could understand. Falling back into her seating position she let her smile take it's place again, the holidays were long gone so there was no point dwelling on them any longer.

At his comment about the exams and homework she let out a slight snort, "Same here my friend, same here. It happens to even the best of us." she said with a shrug of her shoulders, "I'm sure you'll do fine though." she continued encouraginly. Patricia's smile as she heard Ruki say that it was good to see her, "Same here. I missed you." She replied honestly, "I't hard to believe the last time we were talking we nearly 3 months ago. Haha and what a night that was." she commented, shaking her head at the memory, yet laughing about it. It was a brilliant night, one of the best Yule Balls she had been too, but the whole confusion and awkwardness at the begining was just so silly, she was glad they were over that now.

Leaning into the cushions felt relaxing, and with the fire set to a low flame; the room was rather cosy to be in. Watching as Patricia made herself comfortable, Rukevra caught the frown which appeared across her features. Knowing his issues where something he had to solve on his own, the young wizard simply smiled as his friend expressed sympathy. Along with her words, Rukevra felt her hand against his; as she gave a soft squeeze. She had been the second person to place a hand up-on his, offering a slight level of comfort; of which he preferred the Hufflepuff's gesture.

As the young girl sat back, Rukevra listened to her comment about home-work. It would always feel as if too much was expected of him to prove his abilities in magic. With the Divination work being a personal choice, the young wizard felt he could avoid too much effort for the essays; as he only required an additional Exceeding grade for his NEWTS, and, with History of Magic, he had two lessons to find the result from. To reach the NEWTs, Rukevra knew he first had to succeed at the OWLs.

Patricia's following words caused the young boy to smile softly. The more he thought about it, the more he realised they hadn't seen each other for quite some time since their return. Whether he had missed her during that time seemed to flicker at the back of his mind, but all thoughts where interrupted as the memory of the Yule Ball came back to him. It had been a wonderful night, once the issues had been resolved between them. Listening to the young girls laughter, Rukevra spoke. "It was an enjoyable evening. And would have been better without the.. issues we had at the beginning.". The young boy half shrugged his shoulders. Maybe the falling out was supposed to have happened.

With homework now far from the fore-front of her mind she let herself succumb to the conversation at hand. After all her homework would still be there in an hour or so, however long the two friends decided to catch up for. One thing was for sure, she wasn't going to rush the valuable time she and Ruki had together to catch up, just for homework - she just hoped he felt the same, if not she would understand.

Flashbacks of the night of the Yule Ball were now filling the Hufflepuff's mind as well as the events leading up to it, mostly Halloween and the day the two stopped talking to each other. Patricia hadn't thought about those two particular days much recently and for good reason, she had felt so bad about leave Ruki at Halloween but that was in the past now, he had forgiven her and for that she was grateful. As he continued to talk about the night she simply nodded in agreement, "I really enjoyed myself that night and yes the..issues as you put it," she said with a small laugh, "Were a bit of barrier but we got there." she added with a wink. "Anyway that's in the past and to be honest the less said about the issues the better. Agreed?" she asked, faking seriousness, yes she wanted to forget about the misunderstandings between the two but if Ruki wanted to talk about it more, she would happily oblige.

Sitting up a bit she took the book which Ruki had been reading and started to look through it. "Seeing as we're putting the past in the past, how about you show me some stuff in the future?" she said with a giggle as she turned in her seating position and let her body fall against her friend sitting opposite her. It was a bit of a strange move but she found herself enjoying the closeness and found it seemed a rather necessary thing to do - in her own train of thought.

Continuing to read through his Divination book, the young student flicked through the pages on dreams; locating a section about Sleep Paralysis. As he read, Rukevra listened to his friend. He laughter always sounded good. Seeing the young girl wink, Rukevra began to wonder what it was about the girls within Hogwarts. Almost every one he had met seemed to wink often. Shaking the thought from his mind, the young boy nodded in agreement at putting all issues behind the pair. It was certainly a good thing to do.

Taking in the words from the page, the fifth year chose to write his essay on the condition it described. Before he could finish reading however, Patricia snatched the book from his hands; and joked about readings, before she turned on the sofa and leaned against him. Slightly surprised at her act, Rukevra attempted to shift his own position but barely moved. The huge cushion he was slouched into forced him to remain where he was. Tucking his left leg up and beneath him, the young boy chose to relax. It was now apparent he wasn't going to complete any home-work.

"So far I have only wrote notes on the history of dreams.". Rukevra attempted to make it sound interesting. He had never studied the subject before, and knew nothing about reading the future. "If you wish for me to read your finger-prints, I could give it a go.". The young wizard laughed.

Patricia felt Ruki shift under her slightly and smiled as she felt the two bodies mesh together and became more comfortable while resting on her friend. She smiled to herself as she thought about what the scene might look like to anyone who walked in on the two. For most people, seeing a boy and a girl cuddling like this, in an empty room, beside the fire - they would get the completely wrong idea. Patricia hated how people couldn't get the idea of a boy and girl just being good friends without being boyfriend and girlfriend, she and Ruki were far from it.

Once Ruki had made himself comfortable and Patricia was definately snug she looked up to him as he began to talk. The Hufflepuff raised her eyebrows in interest as he started to describe what he had done in Divination. At times she regretted not taking on the subject when she heard about some of the interesting things that was taught but then she remembered thw work load she had already and was thankful for not having the extra workload. "Finger-prints?" she asked again, slightly confused at the form of reading her future. "Sure." she said, shrugging her shoulders while placing her palms in front of him. "Give it you best shot." she said, sticking her tounge out playfully.

The room around the pair was fairly quiet, with very few contents able to create any noise. The fire continued to flicker and dance as if it had music playing with each low crack of wood expanding. The air within the room was fresh and warm enough to feel relaxed. The atmosphere, to anyone who failed to know the occupants, appeared much more relaxed; although, to the two young friends, everything was as regular as a friendship could be. Now sat comfortably against the cushion, with the young Hufflepuff against him; Rukevra laughed once more as Patricia became confused. Having looked through the Divination lesson plan for the year, the young wizard knew the seventh years took Palmistry for the NEWT level; but the reading of finger-prints most likely never existed as a technique.

With his friend's palm now positioned in front of him, the young boy simply couldn't pass up the opportunity for a bit of fun. Taking a-hold of her soft hand, Rukevra gently caressed her fingers; all the while attempting to act serious about being able to read her future. Reaching towards the other text-book still on the table, the young wizard flicked through several pages, passing the Palmistry section, until he located something completely un-related. Looking from the book to his friend's hand, and back again, the young boy began to agree to himself. "Mhmm. Mhmm.". The fun was just beginning. "Oh, now this is interesting.".

Patricia let Ruki take her hands into his slightly bigger ones. She let them relax as he started to observe them and flick through his book. Even in the muggle world Patricia had never had her palms read, and even though this wasn’t technically her palms, it was close enough. Patricia’s warm brown orbs kept going back and fourth between her friend and the book he was reading from, wondering if he would actually be able to read her future. Patricia sat up slightly, but still very much leaning against her friend, he seemed to be taking this really seriously and she was intrigued to know if there was anything interesting in her future.

Her thoughts went back to her second year when the current Ancient Runes Professor had given her a reading when she was a student here as well. The memory was a bit fuzzy because it was so long ago but she remembered how accurate the reading had turned out to be. Thinking back, one part of the reading that had stuck out for her was the part about her future. Cyndi had told her that she would be going through a lot of changes last year and nothing could be closer to the truth than that. Patricia let out a light scoff as she thought of that, the memory had entered her mind but it was strange how it had turned out.

Patricia quickly came out of her train of thought as she heard Ruki starting to talk again. Coming back to the room she looked up at her friend, he saw something? she wondered with curious eyes. ”Interesting. What’s interesting?” she asked, becoming excited with the thought of learning more about her future – she should really learn to live in the present more.

Hearing the excitement in his friends voice, Rukevra knew he had her where he wanted. Flicking one of the pages back and forth, the fifth year pretended to be engrossed in the content of the pages. "I see something common for you. Something you have done before.". The young boy paused for dramatic affect. "I see time in the air.". Rukevra tilted the book to the side. "Possibly a few people cheering for something.". He knew there was a Quidditch game taking place shortly, and decided to see how long it took for his friend to catch on. Moving her hand slightly, the young wizard looked closely at her fingers; all the while, trying not to laugh.

Suddenly, Rukevra took a sharp in-take of breath; before flicking back through the book, landing on a page making absolutely no sense to him at all. Pretending to drastically read the content, the the ex-Durmstrang faked a look of distress. He remembered Patricia's loss of her brother, so decided to tread lightly. "I saw a bird.". Rukevra's voice was quiet. "The book says birds are bad, where you will lose something.". The young wizard had so far only seen Slytherin play. He had little idea whether Hufflepuff could beat them. Looking into the young girls eyes, Rukevra whispered to her. She would either lose the game, or her dignity. "Be careful of birds sitting on your head.". The young wizard wanted to burst into laughter.

Blame Julie! :p

Oh I shall

Patricia waited anxiously for Ruki to tell her what he had seen while observing her finger prints. The prospect of knowing more about her future was very appealing, for the longest time she never knew what she wanted to do after leaving school and after hearing Elvera - a third year Ravenclaw - rhyme of her future plans was quite daunting for the Hufflepuff. With the excitement ever building Patricia listened earnestly to her friends words. Taking time for the words to sink in Patricia thought about them, the only possibility she could come up with, was Quidditch. It made sence, she had been playing it for 4 years - so it was common, obviously she would be in the air and the chances of people cheering was fairly high.

Nodding at his words to show understanding she waited to hear what else he had to say. Noticing his sudden actions, she jumped slightly, "What? What is it?" she asked eagerly. She watched as he scanned the book, trying to catch a glimpse of a few words herself but she didn't really understand any of it, having never taken Divination it came as no surprise to her. Patricia started to feel worried when he was taking so long to answer her, what was going to happen at Quidditch? Taking a few deep breaths to calm herself she listened to his words once again, fighting the urge to giggle when she heard him mention a bird. The rest of his words calmed the Hufflepuff slightly, if she was going to loose anything at Quidditch it would be the game - which wasn't such a big thing.

As she waited for the final words she stared into his eyes, searching for anything that might give away what he was trying to say. At his words she stared at him for another moment, trying to see if he was telling the truth. She got nothing! The Hufflepuff let a smile spread across her face as she bit her lips, no matter what the words meant it sounded very silly, but she was going to take him seriously and not laugh in his face. "Oh really. How very interesting." she said nodding, her voice breaking slightly from not wanting to laugh.

Through-out the fake reading, Rukevra had kept his eyes on his friend; taking in each of her reactions. Most of them appeared to be interested or worried slightly, and this only heightened the young boys sense of fun. Having caught her jump as he mentioned spotting the bird, the fifth year wondered if he should continue or not. It became apparent to him rather quickly that she had foiled his plan though, her smile giving everything away. "Interesting is only part of it.". Rukevra chose to continue. "Over the coming week, you will spend a day with someone close to you.". It didn't seem so exciting to hear it, but the young wizard knew a visit to the village of Brightstone was arriving soon; and he had offered the young Hufflepuff a ride on the broom she had bought for him.

Placing the book up-on the table, Rukevra leaned back into the cushions; about to speak again as the door to the Student Lounge opened. Casting his gaze towards the student whom had entered, the fifth year noticed the look of surprise and shock at the two occupants already in the room; before the figure made several apologies and an excuse to leave. Turning his eyes back to Patricia, Rukevra began to laugh. Surely he wasn't that intimidating. Making himself comfortable once more, the young wizard questioned his friend about her plans for the village visit. "Are you heading into Brightstone for the weekend?". As it stood, he couldn't think of any other way to re-pay her for the generous gift.

Taking a few breaths she felt her urge to laugh faded away, coughing slightly she started to calm down again. Sinking back into the couch she rested against her friend again as he continued to talk. Although his previous words had been amusing she began to wonder if they were perhaps true, sure enough her rune reading had turned out ture enough so she wasn't going to forget them just yet, Quidditch was important and she didn't feel like loosing the game after winning their first one of the season. Now relaxed once more she let her friends new words sink in, they sounded somewhat more serious so once again her mind began to wonder about what it could mean. Obviously she knew it meant she would be spending a day with someone important but who and when?

Her train of thought was broken as she heard the door to the lounge open, her heart sank a bit at the thought of not being alone with just Ruki, she was having too good a time and didn't exactly like the idea of anyone else being in the same room with the two. Although the feeling didn't last too long as the person seemed to become flustered and left. With a confused look on her face she turned to look at her friend, laughing in sync with him, Weird she thought to herself, it was about the only way she could think to describe what just happened. Relaxing on her friend again she lifted her head up to look at him as he talked. Nodding her head she replied, "Yeah. Elliot, my boss, has me working on the 18th but she's letting me off early for my birthday." she said with a wide grin on her face, she was excited for her birthday, even though she had nothing planned she always looked forward to it. "What about you?" she returned his question.

With the pair of them now relaxed once more, Rukevra felt himself become a little sleepier; as if the room had been designed to place everyone who entered into a trance. Listening to the soft words of his friend, the young wizard became slightly puzzled. He didn't know she had a job in the village; something he couldn't see himself doing. With all of the work many of the students had to undertake, how they could spend their hard earned time off serving other students enjoying their days off certainly made little sense to him. All thoughts of having a job to go to where shortly removed as the rest of Patricia's words entered his ears. "..for my birthday.".

Rukevra sat up slightly. "Your birthday?". He never knew this small fact either. "I never realised.". His friend suddenly looked excited as she re-called the event. As her own question was asked of him, Rukevra knew the answer was obvious. He would have to treat her for the day. "I need to buy another pot of ink, as I have run out..", he shrugged, "..I'll head in to the village for another, ..and maybe we could meet there?". The young boy smiled. The joke reading certainly looked be to turning true.

Ideas about what to spent her birthday doing started to go through the Hufflepuffs head. She hadn't put much thought to her birthday yet but then again she normally just had a mini party with her friends in her dorm but she always did that, maybe this year would be different. Luckily her birthday fell on a Brightstone Weekend this year so there was always the option to do some shopping after work but she didn't think she needed anything. Meh I'll think of something." she thought, she always did.

Feeling Ruki move she shifted to suit his new seating position. Patricia nodded as he repeated her words. When she heard his realisation she lightly shook her head, "Well I never told you, so I wouldn't expect you know." She said shrugging her shoulders lightly. She didn't expect Ruki to know that so it didn't matter to her. She listened to him give the details of what his day in Brightstone was going to involve, nodding her head lightly in acknowledgement. At his last words Patricia's expression lit up. "That would be great!" she exclaimed. The thought of spending the day with Ruki sounded like a great plan.

Watching his friend nod, and then briefly shake her head, Rukevra listened to what she had to say. Her words where correct, she hadn't informed him of her birthday; so there was no reason for him to know. After he had explained his plans for the weekend, the young wizard noticed the young girl's features light up. It was nice to see her happy, and spending the day in Brightstone would certainly be enjoyable. "Great.". Rukevra responded to his friend. "What sort of time would be reasonable?". With Patricia having to work, the young boy wondered how much time they would have to celebrate her day.

Even though Patricia hadn't been sad or upset since she entered the Student's Lounge, she just felt her day brighten up a whole lot more - even though it was quickly coming to an end. She couldn't help but think what way her day would have turned out if she hadn't decided to come to the Student's Lounge to do her homework today, well the thought was the main thing as he homework still sat, untouched. Positively beaming from ear to ear she pondered her friends question. "Um, well Ell lets me off early...so say around lunch time?" she asked, "Or whatever works for you." she added, not wanting to pressure him into meeting at that exact time.

As time moved on, the fifth year began to feel more and more tired. His home-work essay hadn't been completed, or even started, and it was due in a few days. Being lounged against the cushions also caused tiredness, as the young wizard felt little urge to move anywhere; but falling asleep here would seem like a nice idea. Watching the smile upon his friends face caused Rukevra to smile slightly too, as he listened to her response to his question. Lunch-time seemed to be reasonable. It would give him a chance to laze about for a few hours before having to get ready. After covering a yawn with his hand, the young wizard responded himself. "Lunch-time would be perfect.".

Not wishing to leave the lounge if his friend wasn't ready, Rukevra simply sat in silence for a moment; before speaking again. "I'm beginning to feel the affects of sleep in this room.". It wouldn't be any wonder if no-one ever managed to complete their home-work whilst they occupied the room.

Patricia grinned as her friend agreed to meet up with her at around lunch time. Meeting him right after work suited Pat perfectly as it meant she could get straight to having her birthday, even if so far it only involved meeting up with Ruki it was enough for her. Feeling much more content now, and tired, she shifted a bit more on the couch laying against Ruki again. Feeling her eyes stinging a bit she stifled a yawn as her friend mentioned how he too was becoming tired. Laughing through the rest of the yawn she nodded, "Same here. It's just too comfy....I don't want to move." She said through an other yawn, her eyes starting to becoming heavy with the heat in the room.

It became apparent Patricia was also tired, as the young girl yawned several times; before making herself comfortable against him. It would seem a little awkward falling asleep in the lounge, especially if a professor was to enter and see the pair. As much as he would like to remain where he was and sleep, Rukevra preferred his large; soft; comfortable bed to wrap up in. "Try not to fall asleep, I'm not certain if I would be capable of carrying you back to your dormitory.". With both of their bags and various home-work, plus the obvious fact of the two being in separate houses, it wouldn't be such an easy task to complete.

Should this be wrapped up? I can't think of anything else to do.

Agreed

Patricia fought against the sleep, she knew it wouldn't be the best idea to fall asleep in the Student Lounge, despite how much she felt like it. Hearing her friends words she let out a light groan. "Fine." she said tiredly, sitting up on the couch. Stretching her arms out she felt herself waken up slightly, enough to get her to the Hufflepuff common at least. Standing up she started packing her bag with her untouched homework and other bits and pieces she had left out to attempt and do her homework. Once all her things were back in her bag she put her bag over her shoulder. Sighing she turned back to face her friend. "I suppose I better go before do fall asleep." she said with a laugh. "Night. See you at the weekend." she said with a smile before turning to leave the room.

With his friend agreeing to end their time together, Rukevra sat up and began to pack away his own items. It was rather stupid of him not to have completed his essay, but it had been a better afternoon than he had thought would happen. Yawning a second time, the young wizard stretched his arms to the sides. At least he hadn't far to walk back to the dormitory. Catching the words from the young Hufflepuff, Rukevra glanced up-wards and smiled; before responding to her. "It's a good idea. Sleeping in my own bed is certainly preferred.". The fifth year gave a soft smile; he was too relaxed to do anything else. As Patricia made her leave, the young wizard gave his good-byes; looking forward to the coming weekend.

Picking up his bag, the Gryffindor made his own way from the room; and set off back to the seventh floor.
