Having been a part of one or two school clubs himself, Monty understood their importance. It was more than just getting together to plan events and meet-ups - it was feeling involved, and accepted, and useful. Of course, the events at HNZ were always terrific as well, and source of fun and excitement all year round, but they were also a chance for the children to find their place, and this was why Monty had keenly volunteered to supervise this year's fair. He had prepped the hall with a number of small tables, and as the leaders promptly arrived he lent a hand wherever needed, making light conversation and thanking the students for their dedication and enthusiasm. House elves trickled in and out with trays of snacks and drinks, which Monty asked them to scatter around for all to enjoy. Now all that remained was for the rest of the children to arrive. Double checking that everybody was ready, Professor Pendleton flourished his wand at the doors, drawing them open wide and hoping the turn-out would be as excellent as it usually was.

Being part of the Heta Omega for two years, Alexis had grown to enjoy the sisterhood that she had formed with the other girls. With the third year starting, the Ravenclaw made it her goal to be more active in the club now that she decided to take a break from Quidditch. So here she was preparing the booth for Heta Omega as she waited for the others to join her.

Evelyn always went to the Club Fair. She was a member of two clubs but Maddie and Izzy made her President of the Heta Omega, so know she needed to prepare stuff. Other people of Hogwarts Monthly could help them out she figured, they didn't needed her right now. The blonde knew she could count on her friends to help, since they were also a part of Heta Omega. Her cousins also joined the club last year and Evelyn hoped that much young girls would join too this year. She had asked her dad to send over some stuff she designed for the club. Evelyn wanted to give the girls something that really made them feel like being a part of something special. So she designed some bracelets with Heta Omega on it and a some tiny diamonds into it. She carried a big box into the great hall, and asked Amber to get one too. She would come soon she figured. The blonde smiled as she arrived at their place for the Heta Omega. She was suprised to see already one of the members, she vaguely saw before preparing the booth. Evelyn didn't asked anything and had a clear vision of how she wanted things in her mind. It was nice of the girl to help, but Evelyn liked to do things herself especially now when it was her first time. She wanted to make a good impression. '' Hi! I didn't expected you here already... and already prepare things. But now you are here can you help me with this box? And take one bracelet for yourself. Whenever someone is joining Heta Omega you can give them one.'' The blonde said with a smile. She started decorating the booth to make sure everybody knew that this was Heta Omega. She really wanted to make it Evelyn-ish. The blonde looked out if she saw Amber already, and looked around the other booths. She was curious who would be the president of the Brotherhood now, since James left.

There was a part of Amber that was sad about not being Heta Omega president, but she had mostly gotten over it by now. Evelyn was an amazing choice, and she was ready and eager to help her friend in any way. Now that she had been named Social Chair, she really wanted to do her best to make Heta Omega better and more fun for all the girls in the club. She entered the great hall with a box of bracelets, smiling slightly. It was so like Evelyn to give away something like that to new members. It was one of the things that made Amber sure she was a good leader for the club. Amber approached the Heta Omega booth, surprised to see one of their younger members already there. “Hi Alexis! You're early.” She said brightly putting down the box. “Hi Evelyn! The bracelets are amazing. I’m sure we’ll have a ton of new members this year.” She said with a happy smile.

It was Eleanor's favourite time of the year and the Queen of Flowers had prepared well for it. She had been making stacks of flower crowns for the club fair during the holidays, and since it was her last year as the leader of the Wild Patch, she would be trying her best to recruit new members that would hopefully keep the club going for years after she graduated. The girl entered the Great Hall promptly, making her way over to where she would have her stall and setting herself up. The usual pamphlets about the club sat on top of the flowery table cloth next to the basket of flower crowns. A larger flower crown sat on the girl's head and a big banner was behind her, spelling out 'The Wild Patch Club' in large glittery letters that would hopefully be the first thing one would see when they entered the hall. When she was done setting up, Eleanor sat at the stall with a smile on her face, excited to see the existing members of the club as well as some new ones.

Ainsley's list of reasons to enjoy coming back to Hogwarts just seemed to get longer and longer each year, but high on the list ever since she joined had been the Wild Patch. The gardens reminded her of home the way no other part of the castle did, and it was refreshing, whenever she got homesick, to be able to go out and work in the garden and think of home and Mum. Like last year, Ainsley's mum had sent her back to school with huge piles of fruit from the garden at home to share with her friends, and since people seemed to enjoy them last year, she decided to bring another basket of fruit to the Club Fair, to help encourage people to join the Wild Patch. Entering the fair she made a beeline for the Wild Patch table, smiling enthusiastically. "Hi, Ellie!" She said happily, pleased to be back around people she had grown so familiar with over the years. "I brought fruit to hand out again, I hope that's okay! Did you have a good holiday?"

She had liken the way the school progress from day to day but it was getting boring. It wasn't like back home where she can do some chores or go out to the city for some new clothes. Here, it was entirely just reading or exploring, and when she heard about the Club Fair Alec took a chance at going down to the Great Hall and wore her best dress. Countless booths stood but two in particular she had eyes on. The Wild Patch and the Heta Omega but she told herself that she wouldn't burden herself too much and pick one. But first, Alec wanted to know all about the two clubs and so, she approached the Wild Patch club first. Two brunette ladies stood there, talking. Alec, being with respect, didn't want to interrupt them but she was here to ask questions. "Hi, so sorry to bother you all but I was wondering if you could tell me more about the club?" She asked. Interrupting the two anyways.

Honey was excited to hear that there was more than just classes at Hogwarts. Making her way to the Great Hall, it already felt like forever since she had been sorted. Looking around, the American girl made her way over to Heta Omega, not really sure if it was like a sorority back home or just happened to be a Greek name. Walking up to the blonde girl whom Honey recognized from walking in and out of Gryffindor. Smiling she put on her best confident face while talking to the older student, "Hello, I'm Honey Smith. Is Heta Omega similar to a sorority?" her accent ringing loud and true.

Ares was late. He was oh so late. The boy had tried to plan ahead but he had not found the time, between the NEWTs, quidditch, the start of term and now this, he just didn't have all the time that he wanted to spend on this. Ares arrived it seemed before most others had and he set himself up at the table for the brotherhood. He looked out towards the rest of the hall and put out the banner and the leaflets for the club as well as the sign up sheet. "Brotherhood! Join the brotherhood," hopefully no one will have noticed that he had been a little later than others. He was hopeful to entice a few new members from the first year class. Or others who had not joined before but wished to now, "Join with other wizards in the brotherhood,"

Noemie was very glad that she was a part of both the sisterhood and the monthly. There was a little downside in that, at the club fair since she was co-editor of one, and secretary for the other she had to find a way to split herself between the two stalls. The girl arrived at the hall and she went first to the monthly and set up a few things to do with that, since she had gotten there before Lennon had and then with her hands filled with stuff from both headed over to Evelyn and Amber, "Hey girls," she greeted them warmly, "Evelyn, I'm happy to help out today, but I have to also spend time getting people to join the monthly, I hope you don't mind," She was sure that evelyn wouldn't mind, and it wasn't like Noemie could do much on the matter, she'd just have to deal with it.

Vader nervously made his way around the hall. He wasn't sure what to join. He had a brand new camera around his neck, a magical one. One he'd bought when he'd found out those existed. The boy had because of it, been recruited by an older student to be a part of the yearbook. It had been a rather sudden thing, one moment he was just a lowly gryffindor and now he was an intern on the yearbook. It seemed kind crazy. He didn't know what to do for that. Well, he did, it was take pictures of people and events but surely he, an eleven year old was not allowed to do that. But it seemed he was. The gryffindor wondered though what else he could take part in, quidditch didn't seem like a lot of fun, but he didn't know the sport yet. The boy was just intrigued by the flowers and being outside, but the brotherhood seemed dumb. Too many people there. Vader wandered over to the flower club and looked at the older girl, "Hey, can I join the...." there was a pause where Vader sought out the name of club, "wild patch club, please?"

Word had gotten around about the Club Fair in the Ravenclaw dorms. Audra didn't want to miss out on a chance to get involved during her time at Hogwarts. She figured now was the best time to join a club so she could optimize her time getting to know the people and doing her part in whatever she chose to join.

Audra stood at the edge of the room, her eyes sweeping across each table deciding which ones to check out. A few caught her eye but she chose first to go to the table with a sign that said "Heta Omega" on it. The words sounded intriguing so she walked up. At the same time, a Gryffindor girl she had seen before in the Student Lounge began asking them a question.

Audra waited politely for their answer then asked a few questions of her own. "What's different about being in this club rather than the other ones? What is the purpose? How old do you have to be to join?" Questions flowed out with ease but Audra stopped herself to avoid overwhelming the girls standing on the other side of the table.

Evelyn went on with decorating and made sure that everybody knew here was Heta Omega. The blonde smiled as she saw Amber coming. It was great to have on of her best friends with her in the same group. She grinned as Amber said to Alexis too that she was early. Amber had one big box too, and Evelyn was thankfull for her help. '' Hi Amber! Thanks, did you already get one?'' the blonde asked with a smile. Amber already knew what to do with those bracelets and Evelyn saw a Hufflepuff boy standing with the brotherhood. She had seen him before, but didn't really spoke to him. The blonde took the box from Amber and put it under the table. She took a few bracelets and left them on the table in front of her. When it was all set the blonde smiled. '' This is going to be amazing! I'm so curious who will join us today.'' Evelyn said with a big smile. After a while Noemie came to them and the blonde smiled at her friend. Just like herself Noemie was a member for Hogwarts Monthly. '' Hi Noemie! No ofcourse not. They have to miss me too this year. Good luck over there.'' Evelyn said with a grin and winked at her friend.

And before she knew it a first year stood at their table. When the girl introduced herself Evelyn smiled. Evelyn was glad to speak to new members, and she figured Amber could help her out too if it was getting crowdy. '' Hi Honey. Nice to meet you. I'm Evelyn President of Heta Omega. Yes it is! We are a club exclusive for girls!'' Evelyn answered to the girl. She had already been working on a big and little sister list, but waited for the final touch for new members to join. When another blonde girl joined them Evelyn smiled to the girl, she was happy to answer questions. And she could handle these two girls still, if it became more crowded she knew Amber was there for her. Alexis was there too, but she was a bit young but could help out of course she figured. Even if it was for handing out bracelets, or let people sign in. Evelyn laughed about the many questions the blonde girl had. '' Ok, at first. This club is different than others because we are a group of only girls. You also have a brotherhood only for boys. Heta Omega looks out for eachother, we have a big sister and little sister list, we make it at the start of a new year. So that you have someone to turn to if you need it, or just for fun! The purpose is to make fun and help eachother out. We will be hosting some events during the year. Everyone can join, first years until seventh years. Does that answer your questions? '' Evelyn explained to the girl.

Alice knew exactly which clubs she wanted to join today. The two her older sister Rose was in as well. Heta Omega, and the Wild Patch Club. A group for all girls sounded like a lot of fun to Alice, and she knew Diana was in that one as well. It really also just seemed like a good way to make more friends! Thankfully, the Heta Omaga booth wasn't hard to find, and Alice approached it cheerfully. It made her happy to see Honey there too, and she gave the other girl a smile before looking at the older girls. "Can I really have a bracelet for joining?" She asked, unsure if she understood it right. "I would like to sign up either way." She added quickly.

Honey listened gleefully as the tall blonde described the club. This definitely the type of club she wanted to be part of. Listening in on another girl's question, Honey knew she was joining. Turning back to Evelyn, Honey waited for a pause in the conversation, "Evelyn, if you don't mind, please put me on the list!" she gave a closed mouth smile wondering if there was anything else they'd need from her.

Abian was eager to see what kind of clubs Hogwarts had to offer. Classes may be boring, but surely clubs weren't? He looked around eagerly for something that suited him. The club with flower crowns looked kind of interesting, but Abian wasn't really interested in gardening so much. He stopped at a booth where an older boy was shouting something about the brotherhood. That sounded interesting. "Uh, hey. What is this brotherhood thing?" He asked curiously, looking up at the tall seventh year.

Audra listened intently to the answers the girl gave at the Heta Omega table, she smiled as the club started to sound more and more like something she would be interested in. Her eyes wandered across the table for a moment as she lulled over her thoughts about it. After a few seconds, she had her mind set on it. This is the perfect opportunity to get to know some of the girls at the school - girls of all ages, not just first years! Her thoughts got excited for a moment.

Another girl walked up to the table and Audra smiled back at her. She asked about the bracelets then stated she wanted to sign up; right after, the girl who had been there before her asked to join as well. Audra quickly followed her words, "I'd like to join also please."

This was Bee's last chance to get new members for the Student Defense Association and since she was still setting up her table while students were arriving, she felt she was losing valuable recruiting time. She waved her wand so the banner with the club name hung above her table, careful to make it high enough so it didn't brush against the top of her curls, and then spread out some pamphlets with useful spells, Offensive Spells on one side, and Defensive Spells on the other side. They were broken down by year so people knew up to what level they were allowed to train with. Once she felt her station was all ready, Bee stood beside her table and cupped her hands to her mouth to announce, "If you're interested in dueling and improving your skills, join the SDA today!" She loved all the clubs at Hogwarts, and was part of a few herself, but her loyalty always lied with the SDA because she was the president. She had won the tournament three years in a row now and was hoping she could win in her final year as well.

Amber sent one single glance over at the Wild Patch Club to give her girlfriend a quick smile before focusing on their own booth. She shook her head when Evelyn asked if she had already gotten a bracelet, and she grabbed one out of the box. They were pretty. "I hope we'll have many people signing up. Remember when we joined?" It was so long ago now, it was hard to really remember. She smiled at Noemie, happy that the girl had joined them even if she had to go to her other club as well soon. That was the one Sophie was on, she wondered what Noemie made of her younger sister.

But those thoughts left her as some first year girls approached the booth. Amber let Evelyn speak first. Her friend was the president of the club, after all. Then she smiled at Honey. "Welcome to Heta Omega! Please take a bracelet." She said, handing it to the young Gryffindor. A young Hufflepuff asked if she could really have a bracelet, and Amber gave her a smile and a nod as she handed her one as well. Then she focused her attention on the young Ravenclaw with all the questions. "Of course! Welcome to the club." She said brightly. "I look forward to seeing you all at the meeting!"

Lennon was so thankful for Noemie being his assistant editor because he was able to rely on her for moments like this when he was running late. He walked up to the booth with a few old issues for people to take if they wanted to see some of their work, and put them down on the table. "Thanks for being here," he told her with a smile. "Do you think we'll get some new sign ups?" he wondered as he began organizing things on their booth. He wasn't the type to shout out into the Hall to get attention for people to join, and normally the club gained more and more members each year, but for some reason he was nervous for this year. He wanted to make sure the Hogwarts Monthly would be fine after he was gone this year so he hoped they'd get some interested members today.

Alexis smiled at the two girls who arrived shortly she was there. Their new president handed her a box which contained bracelets which she gladly took and clasped one for herself. She listened to the two talking while she arranged the bracelets in a basket before placing them on the table. Few moments later, Noemi came by before going to the Hogwarts Monthly booth. Soon enough, there were already girls approaching their table and the Ravenclaw even recognized some from her house. She busied herself giving bracelets to new members before she caught a glance of the Wild Patch Club. She remembered the conversation she had with Eleanor Hope and she promised to herself that she would join. Turning to Evelyn and Amber, she smiled politely."Hey! Is it okay if I wander to the Wild Patch Club for a few minutes? I am considering joining another club this year. If that is okay.", she ran a hand on her hair while waiting for either of the two to answer her.

Even though Geo had a lot on, there were two clubs in particular she had been a part of for a year, and the Hufflepuff had every intention of sticking with them both as she continued through the school. After taking herself down to the Great Hall, she spotted a few familiar faces, chatting to those she recognised as she found one of two tables she was hunting for. Making sure that she was signed up to the wild patch club for a second year, a club she'd found to have in common with Flavio, she headed over to another that she did both out of genuine interest as well as it having a a benefit to her future career as an Auror. "Hey," she smiled at the newly appointed Head Girl, curious to see if anyone else would be joining this year. Geo hadn't won before, although the duels were always a fun way to make practical use of the spells they were taught, while spending time with those in your classes. "How's it going?" she asked out of curiosity, eyes glancing across the banners to see what would be new in store for her this year.

Eleanor beamed as she watched Ainsley approach the stall, happy to see that she had yet another basket of fruit to hand out. "Of course that's okay!" she exclaimed, appreciating the help. "My holidays were good! How were yours?" Before Eleanor knew it, a small first year also approached the stall and the Queen of Flowers was happy to answer her questions, hoping the girl would eventually join. "Yes! The Wild Patch Club is about planting flowers, making flower crowns and participating in Pride Events that are held annually. Pride Events are basically where we come together to support the LGBTQ community and the whole school is invited. It's a crucial part of the club." she explained, hoping it was something that interested the girl. She knew the Wild Patch Club wasn't for everyone and so wouldn't be surprised if she wasn't. As another first year came over, Ellie beamed at him. "Of course you can!" Ellie exclaimed, reaching into her cardboard box to take out a sign-up sheet. "Just sign up here."

Tristan had been surprised when Ares asked him to be Vice President of the brotherhood. His last conversation with the older boy hadn't gone so well, and somehow he had assumed the boy wouldn't want anything to do with him anymore. But maybe he had been too quick to dismiss Ares as a potential ally, even if he didn't want to be anything more than a friend. Perhaps the older boy had felt bad and tried to make up for it? Tristan wouldn't want a position out of pity, but he wasn't going to turn it down either. On top of being a prefect, this was a great opportunity. At the club fair, he found the brotherhood booth and gave Ares a quick smile. He hoped things wouldn't be too awkward. A young boy was talking to Ares, so Tristan kept his his silence for now and looked around. As usual, Heta Omega was a lot busier. Hopefully, a few more boys would come to the brotherhood.

Zoe Katsaros made her way through the club fair. A soft smile set of her face as she walked through the Great Hall, with a camera around her neck, taking pictures of those that were signing up for clubs. She did have another plan in mind as well. Zoe thought about joining a club, because her girlfriend was there. She had feelings for that Gryffindor for a while, having gained friendship that was more than just friendship. That was the key reason why she didn't feel that much into a relationship with Lucas Woodlock. He was a good person, and she didn't want to hold him back. Zoe just had to come to terms with her feelings. She remembered that her girlfriend was in Heta Omega, so, putting the camera down, she approached the table and gave a gentle smile to the club president and the crew. She may have had alternate motives for joining, but she figured that would be what Autumn would want. "I'd like to join Heta Omega, please. Also, if you don't mind, I'd like a few pictures of you all accepting new members for the yearbook."
