Y14 Ravenclaw Quidditch Try-outs

The newly announced Head Girl, along with Co-Captain of the Quidditch Team, Kamaria made her way in her Quidditch robes down to the Pitch. Luckily they would have a better try out this year than last. Kara had her streak in hand, and she had the broom hover and she perched on it. The clipboard was in her elegant hand, and her silver eyes went onto the paper as she used her wand to get the Quaffle, bludger and snitch out into the case, and onto the grass. Kara looked down at the grass, before she wondered where Jeremy Thorne was. He was Co-Captain with her, and she was sure that the boy would get Head Boy next year. He was a good candidate. Kara was just a little shocked that she was Head Girl. The Head Girl badge was pinned onto her chest, and her blonde hair waved over her shoulders. She waited for everyone to arrive and start trying out.​

[Sara Moon]

Sara was excited. she'd been on the quidditch team three years in a row. First a seeker, then a chaser. She was going for seeker again this year, mostly because she felt she was better at it, and she loved it. More than anything else. She smiled as she strode down to the pitch, Kamaria was there already. Sara was used to her, she'd been there forever. She smiled as she reached her, her broom in her right hand, she waved with her left. "Hey Kamaria, congratulations on Head Girl." she greeted her and as she came closer she added, "I'll be trying for seeker again." she liked being seeker, it was fun, and she'd tryed chaser, but it wasn't the same, she craved speed, and as seeker, that was the easiest place to get it.

 

[Makaylah Makwa]

Makaylah was mega excited today since returning back to school. All Summer long she practice loads on quidditch with her brother and some of their professional friends. She improve a lot in her game and being able to balance well on the broom will come in handy for try outs. To be fair, she was aware that she might or might not make the team, really it depended if they needed her not. More of a reason to act like Quidditch was your life when she came bouncing down the pitch with her broom attach to her right hand. "Hey! Makaylah here going for Chaser" she expressed enthusiastically. She smile wide at the head girl, and he girl standing their too. She seen her face loads in school, just never knew her name.

 

[Jeremy Thorne]

Jeremy jogged down to the pitch, his Emerald Streak held firmly in his left hand. When he entered and saw that not only was Kamaria already there but so were a couple of other Ravenclaws. He shook his head at himself and then hurried over to his co-Captain who would be leaving him after this year. Jeremy didn't think he was ready to lead the team on his own, so he was very grateful that he'd have her by his side for another year. As he drew closer, Jeremy noticed that she was wearing her Head Girl badge, and he grinned. Not only had Ravenclaw managed to secure the Head Boy in Justin but Kamaria had very appropriately received the title of Head Girl. Sidling over to her, Jeremy spoke. "Hey Kamaria. Jeremy Thorne, trying out for Chaser" he said, his grin widening. "Congrats on the Head Girl position. You definitely deserve it" he said with an earnest nod.

 

[Yerik Rhys Price]

It was one of those days where Yerik Rhys wanted to wake up early and went straight through the Quidditch Pitch to try-out for the team. Though before that would happen he needed to fix his bed, brush his teeth, take a bath and wear his robes, and so the third year did so. Wearing his newly bought robes he started to go outside his dorm and go straight to the pitch for the try-outs. He could sense that this year would be different, more exciting than last year. As it would be his second year on the team after all if once again accepted. The Ravenclaw then soon arrived the pitch and saw his several team mated had already arrived. He was a bit worried though as he felt he was late or something, he then began to approach them as fast as he could, almost running. Two Prefects and their new Head Girl, Yerik Rhys had already met there Head Boy, and now here he is with their head girl. "Hey, Yerik Rhys Price trying out for Beater." he stated firmly then gave a soft smile to everyone that was there.

He then noticed the Head Girl's badge and turned his attention at the blonde, "Congratulation on being the Head Girl Kamaria." he told her while still smiling at her. It was nice to hear that two Ravenclaw snagged the badges this year. Which was a sign that this year would be really interesting and hopefully goes well as planned. The young boy stood there waiting for further instructions, Yerik knew he was prepared for this as he practiced during the winter vacation with his siblings.

 

[Isaia Romanes]

Taking his sapphire streak in hand, and his new Quidditch gear, Isaia Romanes was on his way to try out for Quidditch. Isaia was happy but he didn't know what position that he wanted to play. He thought about being a beater, like his older sister Isabella. She was captain of the team, so it was nice. He did not have a beater's bat just yet, but he was going to get one soon enough! Isaia was going to be able to think about Quidditch which he was fond of doing. Maybe him being in Quidditch will help catch the eyes of Aphrodite Snow, a girl that he was starting to fancy just a bit. Isaia headed down to the Quidditch Pitch where he saw Kamaria Zhefarovich, and he smiled at the Head Girl. "Congratulations on Head Girl! Isaia Romanes, trying out for Beater." He looked over at the others, and he started to wonder, what if he did not make it on the team. He hoped that he would anyway. He might be able to figure out how to play anyway. From the books and everything, it seemed simple enough!​

 

[Oliver Cade Halliwell]

After making the team the previous year Oliver was confident he would be able to earn a place on the team again. He walked into the Quidditch stadium and already saw some familiar faces of players from the previous years team, Oliver took his Numbus 2000 from his shoulder and went over to introduce himself to the Captain. "Kamaria," He held out his hand as he approached her, "Halliwell, Oliver Halliwell, trying for Keeper," He shook her hand then went back and joined the other prospective players and awaited his chance to show off his skills.

Jeremy told her that he was trying out, she wondered if he was joking or not. A Co-Captain did not need to try out, not in her opinion. She smiled a bit, before she said, "Jeremy, I think instead of trying out, you should assist in helping me watch the others try out. Make sure I don't mess up on my last year here." She wrote the others' names down on her clipboard, and it seemed all they had left for was a chaser. She looked over at Oliver and she heard that he was going to try out for Keeper. She cocked her head slightly to the side and she informed, "If you really want to be a Keeper, you'd be my back up if I do not play in a game. Looks like we still need another chaser." Only then would they be a full team. She said the last sentence more to herself than anything. She hoped that there would be another Ravenclaw coming to try out. She really hoped that there would be. A friend or something of one of these.​

 

[Jeremy Thorne]

Jeremy chuckled and then took his place beside the Head Girl and Co-Captain. "Sure thing, Kamaria." He knew that she wouldn't make any mistakes, but two heads were certainly better than one and Jeremy wanted to be the best team out on the field. They'd had an excellent team the year before and still had not won the game. He was determined to be victorious this quidditch season. "Hopefully, someone shows up so that we can get these try-outs going." The sixth year looked towards the gates, hoping to see someone arrive.
