PERSONALITY
Vera is generally stoic and hard to read to those who don't know her very well. It takes a long time to get used to the small ticks she has that gives a lot of her emotions away when you know where to look. She has strong opinions and makes quick judgement that are hard to change once they are set. But she loves those who are close to her fiercely even if she doesn't really express it often.

BACKGROUND
Vera's parents moved to New Zealand when they were barely 18 after growing up in a very strict families that refused to let them be together so the ran away to start their family. Together they had a big happy family with 2 older brothers, a sister, and a younger brother. With so many siblings she always had to compete for attention and it didn't help that her parents were always taking in those who were less fortunate or who had fallen on hard times. They were the house that took in all the kids in the neighborhood, even if the house was already bursting at the seams. Growing up Vera started resenting her parents overly generous natures since the people they helped rarely ever appreciated their kindness or ended took advantage of their good wills.
