Jerara Tapsell Tristan met Jerara in the library during their first year, and they bonded over their similar backgrounds. They've become friends over time. They worked together to get revenge on Rory Fergusson for calling Tristan a mudblood.

October Alcott Tristan and October are in the same year and share a competitive spirit, they often compare grades and try to outdo each other in classes. He really likes her, and sometimes flirts with her.

Ares Jeffreys Tristan met Ares at a Hufflepuff Quidditch party in his second year. The two got along and soon hung out again. Tristan really enjoys talking to him.

Kauri Tipene Tristan met Kauri at the first Brotherhood meeting, the two talked briefly and Tristan thinks he's nice. He tried to get to know him better later on in his third year. He eventually asked him out during his fourth year, and spent more time with him.

Margo started off insulting him so he insulted her back and it escalated a bit. He now dislikes her very much, though not enough to consider her an enemy.	Sybil Jin Howard Tristan met Sybil during his argument with Rory Fergusson in his second year. The first year girl didn't talk to him directly, but she showed that she was prejudiced straight away which made him dislike her.

Augustus Jin Howard Tristan met Augustus and his twin when he followed Augustus into the Forbidden Forest during their first year. He dislikes both twins a lot after that encounter, but will not easily forget that Augustus was the one that called him 'filth' for his blood status.	Lycus Jin Howard Tristan met Lycus and his twin when he followed Augustus into the Forbidden Forest during their first year. He dislikes them both, but he considers Lycus to be the worse of the two. He had seemed to be in charge, and he had been the one to cast the first curse at Tristan.	Rory Fergusson Tristan met Rory when the other boy shoved him and made him fall down while tying his shoelaces. That was enough to dislike him, but Rory made it into enemy territory with just one word: mudblood. Tristan got into an argument with him that soon escalated. The two started a rivalry after this.

The two discussed it in their third year and confessed their feelings for each other. The two are dating in secret while they also see other people.	Jessica Matthews (previous crush) Tristan took Jessica to a few parties and enjoyed spending time with her, she was the sort of person he wanted to be seen with. Around his fourth year, however, he got kind of tired of going to dances with her. He told her so, and the two stopped going out.
