The day of the Yule Ball has arrived and Roxy is debating if she going or not. She didn't attend last year because she had no real interests to go and she fell asleep right as the Yule Ball was underway. This year, or the very last second she decided to participate and see what all the fuss was about these dances. Rory, her older brother, seems to like them especially the year when the other schools visited his school in Hogwarts, Scotland. He wouldn't tell her why, though Rowan, their older sister, said something about a girl he met that year. That may have influence her choice to come and the fact she was bored out of her mind. The small Slytherin threw anything on except shoes. If Roxy had it her way she would've gone to the ball in the nude. Shoeless, the small Slytherin shows up at the Great Hall chewing down already on some fruity gum. Snaps, Roxy roams freely through the crowd of ball goers to see who she would bump into tonight.

Tina looked at herself in the lavatory mirror, dress in her new floral dress bought specifically for this occasion. It was, of course, before she was dating Thomas. Now that she was single and she didn't want to waste what her mother had bought for her, she decided to go to the Yuleball alone. Arriving at the Great Hall, Tina looked around, studying every student. Until she came upon her own housemate. Shoeless. It would have been great for the paper but she let it go. "Hey, nice get up." She smiled at the blonde girl. They might be housemates but she's not good at remembering their names either.

Snaps, Roxy chewed on her gum when a random girl paid her a compliment. Pops, Roxy shrugs at her outfit. "It's awight, nothin special about it. Cheers," Roxy grins, the small girl looks the brunette over. The brunette was pretty in her dress. Looking like a royal when they go outing in public. "Hmmm, do you like, like flowers? Your dress is nice, but I always see girls wear them with a big hat or a small one. I wonder why is that?" Roxy spoke more in a mumble, sounding less coherent with her mouth full of gum. "What's your name? I'm Roxy."
