Dan had never felt more nervous in his life. He usually wasn’t the nervous type, but something about today made him feel less like himself as thought after thought kept running through his brain. Dan knew he had made the right decision as soon as he had asked Charlotte to marry him and she had said yes. And now, as he looked at himself in the mirror one last time as a fiancé, he was convinced that they weren’t too young and that they would be very happy together, with their child. The soon-to-be husband took a deep breath before he left the room and took his position near the altar, with his best man at his side. He nodded towards his family for reassurance and tried to stand still and not fidget as he waited for the love of his life to appear. It might have been a cliché but it felt like an eternity before the original wedding tune was played on the organ and as soon as everyone turned to see the new arrivals Dan’s eyes wandered over to Charlotte and lingered there, a smile fixated on his features as she made her way towards him.

An immense feeling of butterflies spiralled inside Charlotte's stomach as she sat still in front of her mother who poked and prodded at her make-up covered face, trying her best to do some last minute touch ups. The bride-to-be's hair was tied back in a neat and long ponytail, and a simple gold head piece sat above it. She didn't want to go overboard with her appearance, and so her dress was also simple, but elegant. A traditional white and strapless dress, it protruded out slightly after outlining her hips and covered her to her ankles. It wasn't too extravagant, but that's what she wanted. As the time heading up to the wedding came nearer, Charlotte could feel herself getting even more nervous. She knew she loved Dan, and he really loved her, but she couldn't help but feel anxious, hoping that the day would turn out as perfect as she imagined.

Charlotte arrived to the wedding in a 1950's Porsche - an old fashioned muggle car as courtesy of Charlotte's muggle grandparents. It was unusual to not apparate to her location, as that was always her main source of transport, but it was also a new experience which she was happy to take. Her father opened the door with a wide smile across his face, taking Charlotte's hand and helping her out. She couldn't believe she was about to get married to and spend the rest of her life with Dan, as well as their newborn child. It felt like such a surreal moment to the woman who didn't even think she would be in that position this time the year before.

Standing outside the door, Charlotte linked arms with her father as they patiently waited for the music to start playing and the doors to open. It happened almost suddenly, startling the woman slightly as she began to walk forward with her old man, everyone's eyes turning to look at them. She couldn't help the smile on her face as she noticed her fiance standing on the other side, waiting for her to join him. He looked extremely handsome, and in that moment Charlotte realised just how lucky she was. She tentatively let go of her father's arm as they made it to the other end, and went to hold Dan's hands, lost for words but looking up at him with a bright smile on her face nonetheless. As the officiant spoke, she couldn't take her eyes off her future husband, hoping he didn't notice the slight shake in her small hands.

Dan could not keep the smile off his face, nor could he stop looking at his beautiful soon-to-be wife as she reached him, and when she took his hands he could sense that there was a slight nervousness. But she wasn’t the only one. He gave her hand a squeeze and a wink in reassurance that everything was going to be okay and that there was nothing to worry about. This day felt perfect. No, it didn’t just feel perfect. It was perfect. Ultimately, the best day of his life, next to the day that their daughter was born. The man could never have imagined what it felt like to have a child, it was something so special, so inexplicably sacred that he loved the baby more than anything. It was the type of indescribable love that you couldn’t put to words, sometimes not even actions, but it was there and Dan knew that he would protect her for the rest of his life. His family.

He almost didn’t hear the officiant ask them to repeat after him, and he glanced at the man briefly to let him know that he was paying attention. He gave Charlotte’s hands another squeeze, wanting to be alone with her. The ceremony would be over soon, and the pair could celebrate their first day as a married couple. They would be together for the rest of their lives. "I, Daniel Rosemary, take thee, Charlotte Owens, to be my wedded wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part..." At this he paused, smiling warmly at her and then stealing a glance at their baby daughter. "...thereto I pledge myself to thee." Dan wasn’t much one for traditions, but this was his wedding and he had pledged vows he didn’t really think of before. But, there were certainly no regrets and he couldn’t wait to start a whole new chapter with his wife.

As Dan squeezed Charlotte's hand, she smiled warmly at him, always feeling better when he did that. He always knew exactly what to do and Charlotte loved him for that. She listened as Dan repeated the vow back to her, smiling widely at him the whole time. He was promising himself to her forever and Charlotte couldn't be more thankful for the man she was marrying and whom she would spend the rest of her life with. It seemed surreal to have a life so perfect. The woman glanced at her mother sitting in the front row as Dan finished speaking, and she smiled at her, excited for the next chapter to come.

As the officiant began speaking the vow to her, Charlotte repeated his every word. "I, Charlotte Owens, take you as my husband, and I do promise and covenant, to be your loving wife, in plenty and want, in joy and in sorrow, in sickness and in health, as long as we both shall live." she said, not being able to take her eyes off him. They then exchanged rings, and Charlotte stared at the diamond on her finger as the officiant officially announced them as husband and wife. Charlotte gave him a small kiss on the lips before finally signing her name and looking out at all of the people that had attended. They were now able to celebrate, and Charlotte couldn't wait.

Gwen was happy to be attending a wedding during her school break. It definitely gave her something to do, and the girl had never really attended a proper wedding before. She wondered what it would be like and was just excited to attend the event and celebrate for her cousin. The girl dressed in a formal blouse and pants and sat at the end of the second row beside her brother Cadell. She hadn't dressed this formally in a long time and hoped no one would point this out to her. It felt much better to dress in casual clothes, but Gwen knew she really had no choice and didn't want to stick out amongst everyone else, as that would definitely get people asking questions.

As everyone sat around waiting for the bride, Gwen soon became restless, wondering if this was what it was like at every wedding. "Surely she'll come out soon." Gwen whispered to Cadell, looking around to see if she had appeared yet. Soon enough, music started playing and Gwen sat up straighter in her seat, watching as she walked down the aisle. The ceremony was rather boring and Gwen sighed as the officiant at the front spoke and the bride and groom promised themselves to each other. Eventually, it was over and everyone stood up and began making their way to the bride and groom to congratulate them before heading to the reception room. Gwen walked over to the happy couple with her mothers and siblings, giving Charlotte a smile in congratulations.

When Sam had heard the news of her cousin getting married, she had been ecstatic. She hadn’t seen the Rosemary twins in a long time and so she couldn’t wait to have a chance to greet them. More importantly, she had to congratulate Dan. It was exciting, though the fifth year also wondered if it was a scary thing promising yourself to another person for the rest of your life. Forever was a long time. The bride and groom were young after all. Sam didn’t think she would wed at that age, she wanted to find a stable career and become fully independent before she decided to commit to something like this.

The girl, in her celebratory white dress, smoothed it down before following her father and siblings to where they were supposed to sit. She had been to this sort of ritual or ceremony before, when her older sister Alex got married too. Boy were her family members decisive when it came to marriage. Although, Alex’s situation had been vastly different, there hadn’t been a choice, not really, her and Ryder got along just fine. Sam wasn’t sure anymore whether she had to address him as ‘Professor’ or not. She nudged Xavier when the bride finally entered and the music began to play, amazed at how beautiful she looked. Sam hadn’t exactly spoken to her much, barely having the chance to, but she wanted that to change some day. The ceremony was quicker than she had expected and before she knew it, they had exchanged vows and rings, and had signed off. She smiled, but didn’t get up to greet them yet considering they were already surrounded by others. She would have her turn.

Xavier was really happy about Dan being engaged and getting married, knowing how much he cared for his soon-to-be wife. He hadn’t spent enough time with the bride to know her well at all, so hopefully she was indeed the perfect match for his older cousin. The puff followed his sisters as they arrived to the venue and they went straight for the seats. Xavier however wanted to see Dan for a moment but wasn’t sure if he was allowed to so instead of going up to him, he decided he would hold his congratulations for later. It made more sense after all. A while after everyone was seated and chattering to one another, the music began to play and Xavier felt a nudge from his sister. He rolled his eyes playfully, he knew what it meant of course. The bride was soon walking along the aisle clutching her father’s arm. He smiled a little, finding it adorable that his cousin had found someone seemingly perfect for him. By the looks of it and by how he talked about her, Xavier could tell he was absolutely smitten. After the whole ceremony was over, the sixth year didn’t wait for Sam or anyone before he reached his cousin, smiling widely at him in congratulations.

Sophie couldn't believe her eldest cousin was getting married. She remembered playing with Charlotte when they were little, getting up to mischief together and being each other's confidantes. Now Sophie really looked up to her. After all, she was Head Girl, captain of the Quidditch Team, and now represented a professional Quidditch Team whilst also taking up time to work at Ollivander's. She had quite the busy life, but Sophie aspired to be like her nonetheless. It was good to have someone to look up to, and now that Charlotte was going to enter the next chapter of her life, the Ravenclaw was very proud to call her part of the family, especially now that the family was growing in size.

Sophie sat next to Daniel's sister who had baby Violet sitting in her lap. The girl had never really spoken to Daniel's family before, but his sister seemed nice enough and Sophie smiled at her. Mostly Sophie just wanted to sit next to her so she could be near Violet. She found her the cutest baby ever and Sophie really did not want to miss out on that opportunity. The Ravenclaw watched as the ceremony began, beaming at Charlotte as she saw her walking down the aisle to Daniel who she would soon be married to. She wondered how nervous Charlotte would be, not that the former Slytherin seemed nervous about anything. She was always so brave and happy and that's why Sophie saw her as a role model. The ceremony went quicker than she thought and soon enough everyone was making their way to the bride and groom to congratulate them. Sophie couldn't help herself. She ran straight for Charlotte, embracing her tightly, extremely happy to be part of such a wonderful celebration.

Somewhere in the back of his mind it was weird to be attending the wedding of his ex-girlfriend, though it had been so long ago that he barely even thought of Charlotte as an ex. One of the perks of having such a big family was that it hadn't been hard to find a baby sitter for Bailey, with Jess watching her it left James and Maddie free to attend Charlotte's wedding. James still didn't like Dan which was odd, he was over the whole thing that had caused his initial dislike of him in the first place and yet there was something about him that James just didn't like. James and Maddie took their seats along with the other guests and watched on as the ceremony took place. Once the ceremony was over and proceeding started to become a little more lax James and Maddie made their way over to the happy couple. "Congratulations you too," James said awkwardly shaking Dan's hand and giving Charlotte a hug."Beautiful ceremony,"

Sabrina wasn't at all happy about going to a wedding during the holidays, she had much better things to do than put on a dress, no matter how good she looked, and sit and smile and play nice. Sabrina sat with Sam with her arms folded as she watched the ceremony unfold, it was nauseatingly sweet and made her want to vomit. Mercifully it came to an end and while everyone was running up to congratulate the couple Sabrina slipped away from the crowd for a little peace. She was surrounded by too much family, they were annoying her.

It was the biggest day for her twin brother Dan, and her friend Charlotte. Amy was pretty sure that she could not hide her excitement, even though she was older and had one, almost two, children of her own. When it came to tings like these that concerned her closest relatives the woman could not hide her inner child. Naturally, she had to act composed and calm at the ceremony, however her and Matthew had left their son at home with a babysitter while they attended the wedding, figuring that Dan and Charlotte didn’t want any energetic, screaming babies while they said their vows to each other.

They got there promptly, noticing that her cousins and her friend James were already there, as well as members of the bride’s family. She went to greet the Mackintosh’s, winking at Sabrina as she knew what the girl was like. She didn’t really like family gatherings or events, and Amy sometimes worried whether the girl had friends at school. After she had spoken a little to them, she decided it was time to sit down, with baby Violet. Amy had been assigned to babysitter for the day which was perfectly understandable. She sat in front, with Charlotte’s cousin, though the blonde had never spoken to the younger girl. She smiled at her politely, figuring that since she had Violet on her lap, the girl wanted to sit next to her. She didn’t mind. The ceremony was short and sweet, and Amy let everyone else say their congratulations first before she made her way over with the newly weds’ daughter, a massive grin on her face.

His cousin was getting married. Married. Matt felt like they were growing up too fast, well, not himself obviously, but both Amy and Dan had children now, and it was only a matter of time before he found a wife or husband too. Considering how quickly and decisive his family seemed to be when it came to engagements, it wouldn’t surprise him. But the boy was about to finish school and first he wanted to travel the world, and not really get into anything serious...probably not anytime soon. The boy arrived with his family, tugging on Gaby’s sleeve so that she came along and didn’t try to do anything funny like sabotage the wedding, or something. He didn’t think she would do something as humiliating as that, but you never knew with that one. She could cause trouble within a moment. He went to sit down, nodding at Dan when they made eye contact and had to admit that it was cute and all, but the service was a bit boring. Matt wondered when it was time for food.

Today was the big day and Landon couldn't be more happy for his niece. It made him so much more excited for his wedding day which would hopefully be the next wedding he would attend. Weddings were very stressful and the man was just glad to be part of his niece's big day. He remembered seeing her when she was a baby and holding her in his arms. And even though his travels prevented him from seeing her fully grow up, the man knew the day would be very emotional for him too.

Holding Georgiana's hand in his, Landon eagerly waited for Charlotte to walk through the double doors as he sat among the other guests. When Charlotte finally appeared, Landon stared in awe at how great she looked holding onto Jacob's arm. "She looks beautiful." the man whispered to Georgiana, a wide smile on his face as he watched her every move. He was just glad that she was able to find someone who could make her happy, just as Landon had found Georgiana. The ceremony went beautifully and Landon stayed in his seat as everyone began standing up at the end of it. He wanted to not cry when he finally approached Charlotte and decided he would compose himself before doing so. After all, she had many other people that wanted to speak to her.

Alis never really liked formal events. Usually she only ever attended them if they had anything to do with work, or someone she was interviewing. It felt even more weird that Alis was going to Charlotte's wedding all the way in New Zealand. Charlotte had the perfect life - not one, but two successful jobs, a child of her own, a perfect school record, and a loving fiance who was about to become her husband. The former Gryffindor wondered if perhaps Charlotte's life was moving way too fast. Alis had no romantic partner of her own and was not going to think about one any time soon with her fairly new career to focus on. It all just seemed like too much to think about, but Alis still couldn't help but be jealous, not that she would admit it to anyone.

Alis sat between her younger brother and the Owens-Lee family. Looking around she noticed there was quite a few more people than she imagined, especially since Charlotte just said it would be a small wedding. Maybe her fiance had a rather large family? The woman tried to ignore this as the organ sounded and Charlotte finally walked into the room. Alis would never admit that she looked good, even if she did in her expensive and elegant wedding dress. She simply sat quietly for the whole ceremony, keeping to herself as the pair said their vows then exchanged rings before finally being announced as married. Eventually it all ended and everyone began making their way over to the bride and groom. Alis stayed in her seat, smiling slightly at the others that walked past her on their way to them.

Cadell couldn't help but be excited for the next family event. The man hadn't done anything special in a while and, due to him currently being unemployed and not having much to do, he was looking forward to doing something, especially since he would be celebrating his cousin's marriage. He wasn't as close to Charlotte as some of the others were, heck, even Alis was closer to Charlotte than he was, but this was mostly due to them having completely different lives and Cadell would always try to be there for his family. He made sure to dress in his best clothes, but tried his best to not look as good as the groom at the same time. Luckily, Cadell did not have as much money as someone who worked at the Ministry did, and so this was not a problem at all.

Cadell happily sat next to his younger sister, despite the fact she never kept still. Sometimes a part of Cadell wanted to hit her, but he knew that both of his mothers would not approve of that, and probably hit him back, even though he was now a fully grown man with his own responsibilities. Thankfully, another part of Cadell also knew that hitting people was bad, especially if they were a family member, and so he kept his hands to himself. "Be patient, sis." Cadell whispered back to her, knowing this would never happen. Almost straight after he said that, Charlotte appeared and Cadell watched her walk down the aisle. The ceremony was quite boring, but he didn't know what else he expected. At the end of it he followed Gwen to the happy couple. "Congratulations!" he exclaimed to his cousin, figuring that was the right thing to do.

Georgiana had met some of the family before but this wedding was a big event in Landon's family. She imagined a lot of the faces she would see again on their wedding day, though some would belong to the groom today and also friends. She thought the ceremony was beautiful, the location that had been picked was lovely and when Charlotte came out in her white wedding dress, she did look absolutely stunning. She smiled at Landon's comment about his cousin and nodded. As the ceremony finished she hung back with Landon as others went through to see the couple. She wondered what he was thinking, she couldn't remember off the top of her head how close he'd been to the girl. But she was pretty certain he taught at Hogwarts when she had been in school. She seemed rather young, Georgie wondered how things might've been different if she had found Landon at a younger age. Would they already be married and with a family? Would she have gotten to enjoy her quidditch career as she had? She didn't mind the way things had turned out and she was especially happy to have found Landon.
