HNZ Galleon System
A Brief Explanation​

Starting Balances
When a new account is registered, its starting balance will be 0 galleons. In order to have this character be given money, fill out the request found on this page. Please note that characters in the unsorted group will not be approved for galleons. If you're being sorted, wait until you receive your sorting PM.

Paycheques
There are various types of employment on HNZ, and therefore various types of paycheques.
Shop assistants are automatically paid a commission on each sale they close at the shop they work at.
Shopkeepers are paid through purchases made by customers of their stores.
Professors will be paid annually (in character years) by the Headperson of Hogwarts.
Ministry Officials will not have regular pay, but may be paid upon request (see below).

Balance Increases
In order to have your balance increased for any character, you must submit a request via the galleons request form linked above with a valid reason.
Please note that this is generally not available to students.

Shopping
You simply visit the appropriate shop in the Wizarding World and start a topic like any other roleplay. You'll then see options for items to add to your character's basket. Just select the items you want and continue roleplaying with the shopkeeper or assistant.
When you finish the roleplay, the assistant will process the sale (and give you any discount you may have haggled for in your roleplay) - then the galleons are automatically transferred out of your account to the shop's owner. The items are also automatically added to your character's inventory.

Student Allowances
Students will be given a balance increase of 200 galleons at the beginning of each in character year in order to purchase books and other school items.
