Max didn't know how to feel about rose givings this year. Perhaps if he hadn't forgotten about the whole thing he might have felt elated about the rose he received earlier in the day. Trying not to feel too bad about it, the Gryffindor was stuffing himself with bacon, toast and eggs. He was enjoying this meal in silence until a voice he did not recognise called out his name. Glancing up to see who the voice belonged to, Max saw an older girl looking up and down the Gryffindor table in search of him. ''Over here,'' the boy said after swallowing his food away with some pumpkin juice, waving at the girl.
