Ai sighed as she finally finished cleaning up the dining area and kitchen. It was only nearing two in the afternoon, meaning that Mikael wouldn’t be waking for another hour and a half or two, and Liam wouldn’t be arriving home for three more hours since he had eaten lunch at home. That was good, she surmised as she would be have extra time to spend with Tizi today once his lessons were done and before she had to prepare dinner. While Nightray manor did have house elves, Ai very much preferred to take care of kitchen duties by herself whenever she was at home. And she was home quite frequently since her marriage to Liam and especially since Kael’s birth. She and Liam both kept strict hours at work and when it they were both needed at work, they would bring the children with them. She didn’t trust Liam’s relatives much when it came to the children, especially since there were a lot of... difficulties to say the least when they got together and even when they got married. After all, she was not a Pureblood and was unmarried with two children.
Shaking her random thoughts away, Ai went in search of her son within the walls of Nightray manor. Of course, the former Hufflepuff had a pretty good idea of where Tiziano would be. He is such a bubbly child, always with energy to spare, quite unlike his older brother Jai. They had something in common with her though, they loved the outdoors and Ai barely had any doubt that her younger son would be out in the large expanse of a yard - if one could call such a large plot of land that - likely flying. Walking out of the manor and to the area designated for flying, Ai smiled as she found her son. “Tizi, darling, it’s time for your lessons,” the woman called out with a smile.

Tizi loved to fly. He had learned at a young age from his Papa to do so. He sometimes felt that it was the one thing he really was good at, given his difficulties in other areas of his life. Sometimes Tizi wondered why he couldn’t do the things his siblings could do so easily. His Papa used to always sit with him and try to teach him Italian, but he wasn’t very good at learning more than one language at a time and so they had made English the priority since they lived England. Tizi could speak Italian and Japanese in varying degrees of fluency, but he wasn’t excellent at it like his brother. He wished he could be like Jai, even Misa and Feli were good at speaking different languages, but Tizi wasn’t good at understanding them at all. It was too many words for his little ten year old brain to process most of the time. He was enjoying the wind in his hair and the feeling of weightlessness he felt when he went plummeting towards the ground, only to suddenly hear the voice of his mother calling him. He got the feeling she had called him more than once, which wasn’t the surprising since he was in the air and couldn’t hear her otherwise. He quickly took the opportunity to do a loop before leaning softly on the ground a few meters away from her. Aunt Taylor has sent him a broom for his eighth birthday and he hadn’t looked back since. It was his favourite thing in the world. “Mummy!” Tizi loves his mummy, she always helped him with his letters and reading because she loved him too. He was very happy when she was around because Dada was grumpy almost all of the time and he didn’t get to see Papa much anymore, though he didn’t know why. “Do we gotta?” He whined lightly. He didn’t really mind too much, since it was his special time with mummy, but he wanted to fly more and he wanted her to fly with him.

Ai watched for a bit as Tizi failed to hear her calling. He really was a skilled flyer and it made her proud. She had to admit though that years ago, when she had caught the boys flying by themselves that it nearly gave her a heart attack. Sure, she had Miah teach the boys how to fly on brooms but having them fly unsupervised had been terrifying for the mother. But now that she had flown with the boys herself and even played a semblance of Quidditch with them from time to time, Ai was fairly confident and proud of their skills, particularly Tiziano's. Regretfully, however, they did have to start on the boy's lessons otherwise he would be flying around all afternoon. "Tizi!" the woman called and this time, it looked like he did hear her. Her heart skipped a beat though at the loop he just did but didn't stop him. She knew that she would always fear for her children, but would not stop them for doing things they love. Ai smiled at the boy's whining, it was always like this, and she knew that he would come and study with her anyways. "Mhmm," the woman hummed and nodded in affirmative. "How about this? We do your lessons here and when we're done, I can fly with you until Kael wakes up," she offered. She knew how much Tizi loved the outdoors and it wouldn't be the first time they would be doing his lesson outdoors anyway.

Tizi really couldn't argue with his mum, not when she was being so reasonable, so even though he really didn't want to do his lessons today, it was hard to say no to her, because she was his favourite mum, not that he had any other mums, but Aunt Arianna lived in the manor too, so she was sometimes a bit like a mum. He quickly went and put his broom away in the broom cupboard, because he didn't want to it get damaged if he left it on the ground. His mum had showed him how to properly care for his broom and Aunt Taylor always sends him the new broomcare equipment whenever she gets some for herself, so he had more than he needed really, soon the supplies room was going to be overflowing he was sure. Once he finally returned to his mothers side, after having taken a slightly longer detour through the gardens to get back to her than he probably should have, he plopped down in front of her, all ready for his lessons. "Okay, Mu, I'm ready for my lessons!" He said, grinning up at her. He had nothing, no books, no parchments, no inks, no quills, but he was ready, assuming she was going to have brought it all with her.

-Omg, Tizi didn't want to play today :tut: -

Ai couldn't help but watch her son fondly as he ran off to store his broom. It was one of his most precious belongings, she could see and it was great that he knew how to care for it. Of course he would, she taught him herself. Whilst the boy ran to keep his broom, Ai brought out her wand and conjured a table and two chairs before summoning the materials that they would need for Tizi's lessons. It would be a while 'til the boy would returned if Ai knew her son, and she knew him well. A detour would not be unusual for him and the woman would be lying if she claimed that she does not worry for him when he finally starts school next year. The only thing that kept Ai from having Tizi attend school much closer or be home-schooled by her was because Jai was in Hogwarts New Zealand, and so were Artemisa and Felicita. All four of them were so close and Tizi had been upset enough when the three started school and he had to be left behind for another year. Besides, she trusted that they would all look after each other - which hopefully included getting Tiziano to attend his classes. Ai's musings were cut short as her son finally arrived and she smiled and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Alright, shall we start with your reading or writing today?" she asked as she directed Tizi to one of the chairs she had conjured and where some children's books, parchment, quills and ink now lay on the table.
